I've never written more than one review for a business before, but felt compelled to do because of how great Lashes by Ann truly is. I have gone back several times now for full sets and refill appointments, so I will also talk about how the lashes are. First off, after my initial review of this place. Thinh texted me to say thanks and Ann also thanked me in person for a detailed and informative feedback. Then they actually took my suggestions and ordered speakers for their appointment rooms. I was very pleasantly surprised! This last time I visited, they played soft classical music during my appointment which I loved! If you are like me, you may be concerned about what your lashes might look like after the extensions have fallen off and if there is an awkward transition period before your real lashes grow back. This was actually my #1 concern that held me back from going sooner. I had seen a friend get pretty dramatic extensions and had also very noticeable gaps in her lashes as they started to fall off. This has not been my experience at all! I always ask for natural lashes, they gradually fall off and over time become thinner and thinner. I did let it completely fall off once over a 6 week period. Towards the end, your lashes will lose the original thickness and volume but you may still have some left which helps a little with length. However, no noticeable and unattractive gaps to worry about. If you ask for dramatic lashes, it may be different. I have gotten the 2 week refill several times. In my experience. my lashes still look pretty decent 2-3 weeks after. This has made my morning routine much faster. I don't wear makeup during the week but my lash extensions definitely helps make me feel better and less 'bare'. I did end up having to cancel my appointment very last minute due to car trouble. Thinh was very helpful and kind about the situation. I texted him a couple of hours before my appointment to let him know. He helped me reschedule without making me feel guilty. Overall, my opinion for this place remains the same. I only wish more businesses can operate the way they do. You can tell they take pride in what they do and I feel good spending my money even though it is definitely a luxury item to keep up with. I've been with Ann since she was solo and it is so nice to see her expand so much at this location. She truly deserves it from all her hard work. Sadly, now she's super popular and I can never get an appointment with her! Haha but its OK because all her workers has been great. I have had great experiences with Tina. I have been coming to Lashes by Ann for almost 2 years. I originally tried Amazing Lash and did not have a good experience. This place is really amazing! :) The staff is so friendly and helpful. Their text reminders and scheduling makes it super easy. They are so accommodating and friendly. I cannot imagine going anywhere else! I am currently seeing Gina who is wonderful. My lashes look amazing and even when it is time for a refill, never look bad or have weird bald spots from falling out lol. I've been coming here for months and can honestly say this place has the best customer service of any business I've ever frequented. The first time I ever got lash extensions was last year sometime. I wanted to try them before my wedding. Unfortunately, I didn't do my research and went somewhere random. When the lady was done, the lashes looked very sparse and when I pointed it out, she just said "well I put as many lashes on as I could, you just don't have very many lashes." I of course believed her because even I can tell I don't have many lashes and they're short and thin. I ended up deciding eyelash extensions just weren't for me. Earlier this year, I decided to try again after seeing pictures of other Asian girls with great eyelash extensions and thought "surely these other Asian girls don't have full natural lashes for them to stick fake lashes onto, maybe it's not that I don't have enough lashes, maybe my technician was just bad." I did my research this time and came to Lashes by Ann. I tried to get an appointment with Ann but she was so booked up. I ended up using someone random, Mia. The result was amazing. I had no idea my lashes could look so full. The only thing I was slightly dissatisfied with after examining them more closely was that she didn't really do the inner corners of my eyes, so it looked like there was an unnatural gap. I texted pictures to them the next day asking if it was even possible to fill in the inner corners since I barely have lashes there. Mind you, it was a Wednesday and their office was closed so I didn't expect a response that day. But someone called me literally within 10 seconds of my texts and asked me to come back in the next day for a correction. I was amazed at how responsive they were. I went back in and Mia filled in the inner corners so turned out it was doable. For my refills two weeks later, I tried out Michelle, who was also very good although she tends to use lashes on the shorter side for a more natural look. For my third refills, I tried Megan and have been going to her ever since. She tapers the lashes in a way that looks both glam and natural. I've had numerous people surprised to hear I wear fake extensions - they thought these were my natural lashes and I just had mascara on. Long story short - all the technicians here are great, although some with different styles. Making appointments and checking into appointments also super easy and the two gentlemen at the front desk are always very nice and friendly. If there's such a thing as perfect customer service, this place has it. On top of everything else, this place also has very good prices compared to a lot of lash places. read more

Lashes by Ann is my new go-to lash studio! I had an amazing experience with Tina as my stylist and can't picture myself going anywhere else. The studio is located in a fairly quiet area of Montrose on the second floor of a nude office building. They have 2-4 reserved spots in the parking lot but all when full when I arrived, so I parked on a side street. When I entered the studio I immediately noticed large it was and that it was nicely decorated it was for the holidays. Tina made my lashes look phenomenal! I have a few bald spots from where some were torn out by glue a few days back (don't ask) and she covered them completely and did everything I requested. I'm a little bit of a makeup junkie and y'all seriously, after getting my lashes done here I don't need much to get the type of compliments I normally get when I have a full face on. WOW is the main word used by myself and others. I usually love a cat eye that flows with my almond shaped eyes but haven't touched mascara or eyeliner since I got them done. I recently walked in a fashion show and the makeup artist didn't have to apply anything but shadow for a great eye! I have allergies and sensitive eyes, and was initially worried about getting lash extensions. Ann informed me of the products they have to care for the lashes, I haven't had a single complaint. I can shower normally with them and they look perfect after a light brushing in the morning when I can look my roughest. I got the fullest lash set which I wanted to look dramatic but, still look good with no makeup. I was not disappointed. Even their website and scheduling system is awesome. You get a message to manage your appointment to let them know real time if you're running a little late or need to reschedule, I even saw an option to manage your parking (which can be tricky sometimes in the area). The salon is very inviting and lush, I love they way Ann has the place decorated and everyone is always so polite and generous with refreshments and even treats if a little one ever has to tag along. Mai did my first full set which took almost 2 hours which was expect because of the fullness. She used gel eye pads and I never really had any discomfort through the process. Of course it's a little tickly to have someone around your eyes but I was given blankets to cover myself which can help restlessness or to place under your back or knees. My refill was done by Megan since I had to reschedule for my ever changing work schedule, it didn't take long at all and after getting accustomed to the first time almost fell asleep for my refill lol. Update...sooo I guess I am not that risky. I actually went back to redo my lashes and get them a bit shorter, more natural. It had nothing to do with the quality of the work from Ann, it was just me not being used to having the lashes that long. I guess I am more conservative than I thought. I loved the way they looked when I had full blown make up done, but not when I was very casual and in no make mode. Since I work in hospital and I do work out and run a bit, I am usually in no make up unless I am going out. We'll let me get to the point. I called Ann and asked if I could go back and of course I was met with the great kindness and assurance that she would redo them to make me happy and comfortable with my lashes.(fee to redo them was fair). Well as of today I am very very pleased!! I have a very natural look. With the mascara that I bought from Ann I can apply a few layers and have a bold look for those nights that I go out. In preparation for a wedding, I decided to glam up with eyelash extensions and chose Lashes by Ann at a friend's recommendation. I had never tried lash extensions and was concerned about looking overdone, but I am delighted with the naturalness and subtle "pop" this process has provided. The studio is very well appointed and clean. The reception upon arrive is as professional and welcoming as can be. Ava was the technician and, although she didn't have any rating history with this company, I was assured that she was very experienced so I took a chance; she was fabulous. Ava is extremely experienced, gentle and reassuringly composed. I knew the minute that I met her that I was in good hands. I chose the medical grade adhesive and hope that it will last for a couple of weeks because I love the look and appreciated that the process didn't sting my eyes. The process took one and a half hours, as predicted so the next time I go, I'll brig some music or podcasts to listen to while I relax on the table. The male receptionist was friendly and they took me right at my appointment time. I needed to pause during my appointment to use the restroom and she was friendly, kind and professional. But I was not pleased with the actual lashes. I got the classic lashes and when it was finished I just noticed how hard these lashes are it's like they are plastic and not soft. Maybe I got the wrong kind. I also don't like that they require a $50 deposit but I do understand due to cancellations they probably had to start doing this.
