My lashes not on fleek y'all. I arrived to find I was scheduled with someone new unfortunately. Yeeesh... I have trust issues and these are MY EYES. I don't really want ppl I don't know poking them. My fill was interesting. When I went back into my car I checked them out to find that there were a lot of lashes that were not replaced that needed it badly. I went back in immediately to get them fixed and the tech left a hunk of glue in the middle of my lashes and said it could not be removed. So. I had a lumpy eyelash for 3 weeks. Fo real yo. My second fill by her was even more interesting. The inner left corner was applied at an angle so they laid flat and tangled the whole left eye. Another huge clump of glue was gluing 2 lashes together with 2 false lashes so I had a fat mega lash that was grown out like some kind of anime character. Some lashes were not even attached to lashes, just my eyelid so those were pretty painful. My flipping eyelid. And to be consistent, quite a lot of lashes were just left grown out and twisting around ripping out lashes. Some false lashes were attached to two of my natural ones, so they were painful as well. This is what we call Ghetto Lashes... not on fleek. I contacted them a few times and finally got a call back, and the owner eventually emailed me back. She denied that her tech was anything less than competent but my left eye really begs to differ on that one. They offered 20% off my next service but all I really wanted was an apology. I would have really liked a refund for the crappy job but good luck with that. My recommendation: RUN LIKE THE GINGERBREAD MAN. And yes. I have pictures. read more

Have now been three times for lashes, first time was great- done by an apprentice and although not as fast as other experiences the lashes spoke for themselves, great fullness and great retention. Second time I went I saw a regular tech and she was FAST! I was thrilled, however by then end of week one post fill, my lashes were looking pretty haggard..... suffered through and got a fill at the three week mark (my regular) and I was thrilled with how full she made them (same tech as my second visit) and I felt like she took her time to make sure they looked great. Fast forward 24hrs and I have a raging case of PINK EYE. :( Unfortunately the way this has been dismissed on a corporate level has solidified that I will never go to or recommend Lash Up to anyone I know. It is truly unfortunate because I believe there are talented techs that work there, but hygiene protocols must come above all in my opinion. read more

Carlene is absolutely amazing. She always gets my lashes full. I would only recommend future buyers to be forewarned you should expect to go every two weeks to get the best bang for your buck and to avoid shedding more than the 30% and being charged a full set. I also don't believe that every girl can have a top up in the one hour allotted. I have ran into this problem as I have a lot of natural lashes. I go every two weeks and some days I'm done in an hour others an hour and a half It all depends. But I love my lashes and have been getting them done for about a year now. read more

The technician was great, I felt completely relaxed and it was 100% painless - my eyes were not irritated at all from the appointment. I got my second ever set of lash extensions from Lash up. They were significantly better than the first set I got from another salon. I chose to go with a more natural look and Kelsey did a great job. I love the result! Only reason I give it 4 stars is because I received 2 emails, 2 text messages AND 2 phone calls all within the week prior to confirm my appointment. I thought that was a bit much. i'm gonna start off by saying the work these ladies do is beautiful! my lashes lasted a while and that was definitely super amazing. however, i've been here twice and both times the technician glued my eyes shut and made it very difficult and painful to open. both times the pain didn't go away for at least a couple hours. i've been tested for sensitivity to glue and i've been to multiple other lash places and never had this issue. my bottom lashes are often glued to my bottom ones and for $170 i was highly disappointed with the service, they offered zero compensation and i had to end my session early because the pain was unbearable. i wasn't refunded but rather told i can come back. personally when the pain is so sever i felt so uncomfortable i had to leave, i would rather not come back and just get the price knocked down. despite the work being beautiful, my experience was disappointing on both occasions i've been here. read more

I got my eyebrows done twice now. I am not a girlie girl so doing stuff like booking an appointment and getting them shaped, tinted and all that jazz is a little intimidating for me. I have no idea how to do stuff like that on my own so these girls have talent and patience to deal with the mini caterpillars I come in with :) Thankfully the girls are absolutely wonderful and calming I did get my lashes done elsewhere recently and have kind of regretted it so that will be the next thing I am trying. When I had come in, I had a set of very poor lashes. My eyelids were sore and the lashes were much to close to the skin. Glue was scratching my eyes and it was very painful. The woman who removed my eyelashes was extremely competent and careful with the removal. She had even asked the manager to come help her so my real eye lashes were not damaged. The new set she had done on me is beautiful, natural, and just absolutely gorgeous. Everyone compliments my lashes and I have already sent a few girls to lash up because I am so impressed with them! I had lashes done here before by michelle and they were wonderful, however just recently I had booked for a complimentary set by someone who was just training. The work was stunning however my eyelid where the lashes are applied hurt , i thought it would go away. Working 2 jobs 7 days a week I don't have much time to call about every little inconvience. But it's been some time now and the eyelid? Where the lashes are applied to are getting puffy and starting to hurt and my lashes are just falling, I'm not able to comb them as it hurts too much , it's a 45 mins drive to get there from where I live and pretty much was not offered any explanation as to why it could've happened , and didn't feel like I was welcome back because of the tone of voice where I'm trying to be polite as possible and it's just a Monotone on the other side of the phone , the lady on the phone did not sympathize or hear me out just told me to come in and Have them removed . Have to wait till Tuesday. Would only recommend Michelle. Don't expect to be offered anything for any inconvience. read more

This was my second time at Lash up for a volume set of lashes. I absolutely love the talent these girls have. I was always nervous to get eye lash extension because of the fear I carried with them possibly falling out or breaking my own... ALL false. They are flawless each and every time I have had them. The salon is extremely clean, professional and everyone demonstrates wonderful customer service. This time I left feeling exceptionally beautiful. Michelle did an outstanding job on not only my lashes but as well as two other girlfriends I brought. I came to lash up in Sherwood park for a full new set of volume lashes, customer service was pretty good overall besides the fact when I called a second time to inquire about the coupon I had seen on their Instagram story. She had told me I had to let her know about that flash sale coupon when I book the appointment (seeing as I talked to her at most 2 hours prior to). I come to pay for my new set of lashes that I cannot have the flash sale discount and this girls code to receive an additional discount. That's besides the point, I had driven all the back to Sherwood park from Edmonton to purchase their lash shampoo so I can prolong the longevity of my lashes. After about 3-4 washes with this product I came to the conclusion it isn't worth the pain to continue using this $26 product that's the size of a baby cumber. I had messaged the lady on Instagram about this and she had informed me to try using baby shampoo so I went and purchased some and it worked. I found though that it ended my eye lid area to be a little bit more drier and itcher. Anyways they had told me to bring the shampoo to my next visit so they can refund me and so when I had booked my fill for today July 23, (3 week retention) I left a note with the booking that I was returning this product. (My fill appointment is with the Edmonton location) I get there and come to face with the head manager and she was very sure to let me know they cannot return this and she's not sure why that lady would say that. So I just go along with it and say ok and as I'm finishing getting my fill I thought about why she never could have called to confirm my appointment or that they don't accept refunds so I didn't have to go back home from accidently forgetting it. Could've saved me a trip. She was making calls confirming appointments the whole time I was getting my fill. the technician doing my lashes had asked what procedures I do to clean my lashes as to why they might burn or sting and I explained and she had mentioned to splash water instead of using a cotton pad to absorb the excess water + shampoo around my eyes. She had a little bit or tone while saying this in my opinion and then she had her fan fall on me (by accident!) not to mention both times both technicians never really conversed with me at all whereas the other customers received that luxury of feeling comfortable. In addition the manager wouldn't give me the name of the lady I spoke with that given me false information on that Instagram account. read more

I never find the need to write a review but this place deserves one. Save your money. Not because they don't do a good job but there service is below acceptable. You email them they don't reply you call even worse. Yesterday I called over 15x you think someone would answer or call me back . they offer a discounted rate on Groupon for first time clients but neglect to offer a deal for returning customers. Way to make us feel appreciated after investing so much money into your salon. It ends now as I will never return and will never recommend this place again. So the first I went to lash I had this amazing experience. I went to get my eyebrows done with Alli, and she was totally the best and the reason I wanted to come back, in the brow appointment she asked me what I had want done want shape my brows were normally and ask to show her a picture of what they looked like when I filled them in. When she was done they were so good the best I've ever had, so I followed their Instagram and then they had this promotion or whatever where an apprentice was giving you a free set of lashes of a model or whatever, so I show up to the appointment on time like ten minutes early cause that's ok time for me and the lady at the front said she was still finishing up with the other girl which is totally fine I'm early. But the appoint was scheduled for 3:30 with Kelsey not only was she 30 minutes late but after that 30 minutes she had this family emergency where she had to leave, then another 15 minutes of the other stuff trying to figure out how they were going to schedule me in. They did with a senior technician. The appointment wasn't as enjoyable as my last with alli, we hardly said a word to each other. I did ask what kind of make up remover would be the best she said the pink or green garnier micellar cleansing water. So I went and bought that green one cause I only had the blue one and I want my lash to last as long as possible. After the appointment my eyes looked fine a little more natural then expected (basically looked like my eyelashes with mascara on) but whatever free appointment right!? When I was at the front and she was explaining the after care to me it was simple to follow gave me brushes to brush them out blah blah. I asked to book and eyebrow appointment with the girl I had it done with before for next Friday cause that's when I get paid I don't work I go to school I'm broke I live by myself all bills land on me. Later that evening I had three fake eyelashes fall out in my left eye, I can't call them the next day cause it good Friday and they are closed, but they just kept falling out of my left eye and I knew how busy they were cause they moved around appointments to get me in I didn't call the next day or the next but I did instagram message them and ask if there was a way that I didn't have to pay the full price to get them filled but she basically that they was no way and I would have to pay, so whatever I just let them keep falling out. Well today is Friday April 6 at 10:13 when I wrote this. And I honestly maybe have 7 in both my eyes two that I can see in my left and four maybe in my right which is kinda disappointing since I just got them done 8 days ago !!!! Today I went for my eyebrow appointment at 4 pm expecting it to be alli they were one time which is a plus, but I didn't get alli I though okay whatever they must have a hiring standard specially if your paying 10 dollars more then you would basically anywhere else (apparently not) but I still I went with always giving people the benefit of the doubt. She started with my tint did it before the wax which I've never had done before. They turned out so bad she asked me if I liked them thinner or thicker and I said thinner but they are definitely not thinner kinda boxy and thicker ugly as fuck so disappointed I said I liked them cause which was my mistake but I don't like hurting her feelings when I can see her face, but I called as soon as I got to the car ! No answer call again no answer call again finally an answer I explained the situation and she said she was going to get Renee to call me back but like I said before it's 10:23 and no call yet !!!! Now my eyebrows are fucked I'll post a picture on the page if I can! I found Allie on Instagram by looking through the followers and following when I had my first appointment with her, when this happened I had messaged her she said she no longer works there I was shocked ! What how could they not inform me of this when I made the appointment or when I got to the appointment? When I specifically asked for her !!! Anyways needless to say they better refund my eyebrows I'm so upset with this appointment I'm very going back !!!! I would highly recommend you don't go there ! And follow @browsbyalie on Instagram and give her the business since she literally the best ! Awesome salon very pretty and the staff is nice I would recommend getting your lashes done here for sure. I would also have to make a small recommendation to the owner to focus on PR and just being the face of the company rather than doing any applications on clients she is nice but a bit too chatty and boarder line unprofessional it was uncomfortable having her working on my eyes and having her talk non stop I just wanted her to pay attention to the application I was really nervous and she was touching her mouth and then my eyes I'd say there is a better hygienic process. Don't get me wrong she was really nice it's just not the time and place to hear her life story. As a whole I love my lashes and it was a good experience. read more

I purchased a Groupon ($80) for a lash extension application and gave it to my daughter for her birthday. She made the appointment for 6 pm on e evening and went in. She waited half an hour after her appointment time to finally be seen. The lash tech that started her finished her shift mid application and handed her off to another. This tech told her that they were closing and they would not be able to finish her lashes that evening but she could come in the next day and they would complete the job!!!! I'm sorry, is her time any less valuable than yours?? This is absolutely unacceptable. Her lashes looked like crap, she was leaving for out of town the next morning and we were both extremely disappointed with the service and product applied. We will never go back there EVER and I will emphasize the lack of professionalism and customer service at Lash up to anyone I hear talking about getting their lashes done. read more

I went to Lash Up this summer and really liked my lashes done by Renee! I got them filled about three times. One thing though: I found the lashes fell out quicker than anywhere else I have gotten them done. Another problem came when I bought a Groupon for a friend's birthday...they refused to honor it as she had used one there before. I found this very unfair so both my friend and I have taken our business elsewhere (and just as pleased with their work). Long story short -- the technicians do good work but be careful when purchasing any "deals" through this business! read more

I was talked into buying a $55 sealant to make the lashes last longer but when the product makes your eyes water and you cannot use it lash up management will not stand behind the product that they selll. I was told that the product was garbage. They call you the next day after your appointment to "check" on you but really they only want positive feedback as they will not do anything when you have a problem. I went in yesterday for a lash lift and I just want to say the aesthetician was very friendly and the salon is beautiful but I am beyond mad with the results of my lash lift. I had my eyes closed for about an hour and when you open your eyes the salon lights are pretty blinding so when she gave me the mirror to look at the results I couldn't really tell how they looked as my eyes were filled with water, but I trusted they looked fine. When she showed me, she reassured me they would curl more once they were dry. They literally did the opposite. This morning ( 24 hours later ) I'm allowed to get them wet so I had a shower and once I got out... I was somehow hoping they would look better, but somehow they looked worse. The curl was completely gone! How is this possible when it's supposed to last 4/6 weeks! Dissapointed with how my lashes look I put on a thin layer of mascara, and It was then I noticed my half my lashes on my one eye broke in HALF! I just feel robbed, I paid $100 for this. I would have typically gotten extensions done but wanted less upkeep and hassle!!!! Someone at the salon I was in contact with offered another complimentary lash lift, I declined as I didn't want the rest of my lashes falling off!! So dissapointed. read more
