I've been continuously getting lash extensions for over 2.5 years now and I started coming to Lash Lab recently because of their great reviews on yelp. They were closer and cheaper than the place I was previously going to. The reviews on yelp are spot on, Detri and Shannon are really good at lashes. Both of them made my lashes look so full and they lasted longer than normal. I didn't get any irritation (I have sensitive skin) and my lashes were applied perfectly. I use their online booking, which is very easy to use. I was really happy with how my lashes turned out with Shannon and Detri. However, I am removing one star because of the last incident at Lash Lab. I booked my appointment at least 3 weeks in advance with Detri for the day before my wedding (I actually always book my appointments 3 weeks in advance). When I came in the morning of my appointment, I was told that my lash tech had been switched to the new girl they just hired, Sheree. Detri had another customer with her so I don't know if she double booked or maybe just decided to give me over to Sheree so she could have some customers. I got no phone call or notification that my lash tech had been changed until I walked in the morning of my appointment. I decided to give the Sheree a chance (plus I had no choice, I had back to back appointments after my lash appointment to get ready for my wedding). She didn't do my lashes badly but they just weren't as full or as nicely done as when Detri or Shannon had done them. I was sooo bummed, as I really wanted them to look extra full for my wedding photos. I will continue to go here, because they really do a good job, but I definitely will request that they don't change my lash tech or at least give me warning if they do. Edit: They just did the same thing to my sister. Her normal lash girl is Shannon, but she booked with Detri because Shannon wasn't available that week. They changed her appointment to Yolanda with no notice. So if you want a specific lash tech, make sure you ask them not to switch your appointment. I mentioned this to Shannon on my last appointment, and she let me know that my appointment wouldn't be switched from her again. TIP: Do not book with Detri, as she is not taking new clients and will automatically switch you to Yolanda or Sheree. Both have only been doing lashes for about a year or less. I've been getting lashes for almost 3 years now, so I personally prefer someone with more experience. read more

Lash lab was my life saver! I got my lashes done at a place in LA along with 4 other gal friends. I was the lucky duck who reacted to my new set of eyelash extensions. :/ My eyelids were swollen and watery within 24 hours of application. I contacted lash lab to see if they have any availability to remove my new set of lashes. They squeezed me in and i came in asap. When i had arrived, the lash tech were working on their clients. I was 20 min early, so the tech asked me to come back since i'll be waiting until my appt time. I like the fact that she informed me the wait time - and asked me to come back so i wouldnt have to sit around doing nothing. I ran an errand and came back and she (Marie) was ready for me. This place has high standards for sanitation. Marie informed me that she needed to wash her hands before working on me. Thumbs up for preventative care by preventing infection! :) My situation was frustrating. It sucked due to my allergic circumstance and it took longer than expected. Marie's appt showed up; she explained the situation and took care of that client. She then called the owner asking her take care of me. The owner and Marie were gentle in their attempts to remove my lashes. The owner came in on her off day to finish Marie's work (so Marie can attend her appt), they had empathy on my circumstance, they were patient/understanding, and used clean technique. They flushed my eyes with disposable saline. Advised me to take benedryl and consult with a physician if it worsen. As a nurse, I was very impressed by their techniques, products, and how they handled me/the situation professionally and kindly. Believe me. I LOVE getting dolled up with eyelash ext! I had about 10-15 sets done on me by now, this was the first time my eyes/body is not reacting well with this foreign object. It could be the products (glue or lash) that was used or the way it was applied on me that made me reacted (from the LA location). I want to give eyelash ext another chance. I cannot say enough. My lashes look amazing. I have pretty long lashes but they are extremely straight and never hold a curl even when I heat up the curler. I tried the mixed volume lashes and wow! The technician Ashley took her time and my lashes look amazing I've received sooo many compliments on my beautiful "eyes" but we all know its the lashes. My friends obviously noticed that I had either bought a new lash curler or switched mascaras and were quick to question the change. Absolutely love the quality of work and lashes. read more

Oh boy. Don't let the reviews fool you. The only reason why I gave this place one star is for Maria. She is very sweet and does good work. As for Detri and Brit, they have to be some of the rudest people I have ever come across; not to mention Brit did a horrible job on my lashes. My eyes burned for days and the lashes didn't last for more that 8 days. The only gal that was worth anything here (besides Maria) left months ago. I've been going to Lash Lab for about a year now and I love my lashes!! I actually can't live without them now lol! The salon itself is really cute with a relaxed atmosphere. Detri does my lashes. She is super professional and actually cares about the health of my lashes... I used to go to a place that put thick heavy lashes on which caused my natural lashes to break off. I've been going to Shannon for quite a few fills by now. She is always professional, very thorough and so sweet. Their may have been some snoring involved and Shannon acted like nothing happen. Seriously, she is so good....I dosed off. I snored, woke myself up, and opened my eyes. All no, no's. I was horrified. But Shannon and Detri both made me feel so comfortable. I love how Shannon listens to me and tries to help and give me exactly what I want. And when she's not sure of the answer... she always asks. That's a true professional. Don't let the name fool you . . . she does everything ! I went in for a facial and body wrap to Detri and couldn't be happier with the results or the experience. FACIAL: Let me begin by saying that I had never had a facial before, so I didn't quite know what to expect. Detri was very inviting and made me feel at ease the second I walked in the door. I have VERY sensitive skin and didn't know if a facial was even going to be right for me. Detri reassured me that everything was going to be fine. With her reassurance, I decided to go for it - it was the weekend anyway and worse comes to worse, I could hide indoors with my red splotchy face if things went terribly wrong. On the contrary, things went completely right . . . she applied a million different products to my face and none of them did anything but calm and moisturize my skin. She knew exactly what products I needed and worked magic on me with her soft hands. I went in with dark sun damaged skin and came out lighter, more even, moisturized and blemish free. I am very pleased with the results and will definitely be going back for a facial again. Sensitive skin or not, this is highly recommended. BODY WRAP: I have had a body wrap before at the South Coast Plaza Spa (which cost a fortune, but I had a gift card, so yay). I didn't think that I was going to be able to afford a body wrap again, but Detri has a package deal that she will wrap you while you get your facial. Win-Win for me, so I decided on both. If you've never had a body wrap before, let me tell you that it is a great thing. You get wrapped up in a cocoon, sweat a ton of toxins out of your body and feel energized for the rest of the day. Detri had all the great products to make the best of your experience. She even had little thong panties for you to put on so that you were comfortable (instead of being butt naked). Detri has a great set up in her little salon and offers a lot of different services. I cannot wait until she starts threading - I will be visiting her a lot more often. I got my eyelashes done by Detri before leaving on a trip to Europe and they looked wonderful. I have super straight eyelashes, so I was impressed at how pretty my extensions looked. A little bit before my trip, one eyelash was going straight down. I called her and explained the situation and she was so accommodating. She squeezed me in (I believe she was even in the middle of lunch at a nearby place), and fixed that lash for me at no charge. I got my lash extensions for the first time today by Yolanda and it was great. My natural lashes are sparse, short, and grow straight down, but my new lashes are perfect! I made an appointment and showed up ten minutes early and Yolanda took me in as soon as she was finished with her previous client. The whole process took about 2 hours and I fell asleep in the middle of it, making the time go by really fast! At the end, she gave me a mirror and had me check it everything looked and felt right. Got my first ever Brazilian wax done by Candice. I was sooooo scared I hardly every wax anything and my skin is very sensitive but I wanted to try it out for bikini season. Let me just say WOW best decision ever made! I was terrified that it would hurt and I don't do well with pain but Candice was so quick and the wax she used worked so well (hard wax) within 10-15 minutes I was finished and my skin was baby smooth! The pain was very quick and minimal and the results lasted so much longer compared to shaving. I never really write reviews but I had a great experience at Lash Lab. I had my volume fill done by Jessica. My session took a little over 2 hrs. I got really tired of laying there so long so Jessica asked me if I wanted to keep going or stop the session and she would just make sure my lashes were even. I decided to stop it so she just checked that they were even and I was done. She showed me my lashes and they looked great! Once I got home and I stared at the mirror a little longer I noticed my right eye looked a little off. It just seemed a little longer on the right eye. So I texted the number and let them know. I sent a picture to the number and Detri squeezed me in on the next day in such short notice and she fixed what was bothering me in my right eye. I love my lashes ! They are still looking good and I am 3 weeks in. I have lash fill appointment with Jessica this Saturday. Jessica and Detri were really nice and they both did a great job! Ande Jo is very pleasant and courteous. I was nervous to have someone working close to my eyes n she made me very relaxed. I don't think ill go to anyone else for my eyelash extensions.
