Waxers at nail salons aren't really the greatest, at least not the ones I've been to. They use waxing strips and the wax is always too hot and I end up with a straight-up rash on my eyebrows after. I've also been to some of the other dedicated wax salons and they really don't do a great job on my eyebrows either. I think they are only wanting to do more waxing like legs or bikini area. So when I visit and just want the brows done, it's almost like they are annoyed that I'm there and only getting a small service done because my appointment could have gone to someone wanting more waxing done, which would be more money for them. So I finally tried Waxxdaat and I'm happy that I did. I do not get that bad vibe from this place at all. I've been there a few times now and I always set my appointment up with Cola. She's been better than all of the other waxers I've tried in the area. I never have to wait long to get called back to her room, the wax is never overly hot, and she doesn't use waxing strips. My brows always look amazing and shaped just like I want them. The conversation is always pleasant and nice, she seems genuinely interested in what I've been up to since the previous appointment. The girls at the reception desk have always been really nice too. Overall it's been a great experience.

She listened to what I had to say and gave me exactly what I asked for. My previous lash ladies would typically give me more volume even though I wanted a hybrid look and I would get so annoyed that I'd pick at my lashes. Even after wearing them continuously for years it felt like i was wearing extensions. The lashes Catly did are SO comfortable I barely even notice that they're there. Haven't gotten a fill yet so we'll see how they last and look after but so far I'm really impressed.

Britney and I talked and looked at pictures before she began. When I looked after she was done, my few eye brows were sticking out. The picture we agreed upon is not how the final product looks. Britney tried to blame it on the aftercare that I did. Then Covid hit and she was not able to do the follow up visit. Even then, my eyebrows looked hideous! When she was able to open again, I went back and told her I wanted the strokes that showed in the picture we looked at. Here's the RED FLAG- "We can only do so many strokes". In other words she did not know what she was doing as far as micro-blading someone with no eyebrows. Maybe her expertise is filling in people that have eyebrows. She said she would do them again, Buy that time if they had not been done right what was one more time. In the end I asked for 140.00 back the last amount I debited. Britney verbally agreed. I was told by "Her Godmother" Britney was on vacation. Then I was told Britney would call the bank to see why it was rejected, because she did not dispute it. I called the bank and they said "It was disputed". "Services as discussed". Then I was told it was in the mail. Another BS excuse and Britney does not practice integrity. In the past year, they moved to their own separate office building now, which is nice because it's easier to find their office and there is plenty of parking in the area. It's not even that much further down from their previous office building that they were in. Drew makes me feel so comfortable every time I come in. First of all, getting waxing done in general already feels uncomfortable and usually hurts quite a bit (if you have a low pain tolerance like me), but I feel like the time goes by so fast every time I come here. My appointments normally are about 15-20 minutes long, which doesn't feel like it at all. Drew is so easy to talk to, and I love catching up with her every time I come in. The technique that she uses also doesn't really hurt as bad compared to other waxing places I've been to before.
