The appointment was set for January 18, 2020 at 1:00 pm and she said she would text me 24 hours in advance to confirm the appointment and get my address since she is mobile now and doesn't have a shop. I didn't get a text. I texted her the morning of the appointment at 9:15 am to see if we were still on for that day. Nothing. I texted again at 12:10 pm. Again, nothing. I got a text back at 12:45 pm saying her phone broke and we would have to reschedule. I wasn't too excited about changing the date and time but I moved some stuff around and told her I was available Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 2 pm. She said she would take off 15% off due to having to reschedule so I appreciated that. It's currently 3:20 pm on January 19, 2020. I have texted and called her twice. No response. No "can we reschedule again?" NOTHING. She was awesome the first time I met her but I am extremely disappointed from what I've seen the last two days. I run a small business on the side so I know how important it is to make sure you text people back and keep appointments. I don't get angry easily and I don't write negative reviews pretty much ever but I'm pretty angry about the lack of any response from her.

She didn't just check with me once but checked with me multiple times to make sure I loved the shape size and color before she started. She also checked on me many times during the procedure to make sure I was not experiencing any discomfort or if I just needed a break. Prima was finishing up with a customer and after that, my bf & I were the only customers in the salon. Workers there are also following CDC guidelines which includes: wearing a mask and enforcing social distancing when in the salon. I have been coming here since 2018 and am still a happy customer The only two negative comments I can make are of the price changes which I noticed on my second to last visit in February 2020. Eyebrow threading used to be $8.00 but has gone up to $10.00, which is still a fair price however the owner has not updated the salon price menu and I was not aware until I was charged and looked back at my past receipts. My second negative comment would have to be of the other worker there. My usual go to person, Prima, was not scheduled to work so I went with someone else which was a mistake. She spent more time on my brows than most people spend giving me a haircut, and walked me through where I needed to let them grow in and how to style them naturally. No hard sell on products, but I bought the two that she used. It is worth the extra money to let her do your brows instead of a regular 2 min wax job. They work 6 days a week and are always consistent. They take the time to get to know their customers and they have a huge number of regulars. I don't even have to tell Tommy how I want my nails done. He already knows, and when I went through a phase where I wanted something different every time, Yen put her best creative foot forward and never let me down. The ladies that do the pedicures are all great and friendly. We have conversations about their families and ours. We discuss our vacations and plans. It's an open area with a spa-like atmosphere. There is a separate room for waxing and they have contemporary music playing, while the TVs show whatever talk show/news is currently on with subtitles so you know what's going on. I have zero intentions of going somewhere else for my manicures and pedicures. When you have a good place, you don't leave.

I didn't have time to get my nails done again, so I popped in for a removal. The tech burned my nail and I reacted, she did not apologize or seem to care. When I sat down, she insulted me saying my nails grew out so long. She improperly removed the acrylic set and even tried ripping them off with an extra acrylic nail. She left artificial nail on all of my nails, I realized this when my nails have been in pain. As seen in the photo, my real nail beneath the artificial residue. I have chipped a piece off of the artificial left on top of my real nail, seen in photo 4 in my palm. This is an outrageous way to treat a paying customer, let alone anyone. I am not going to the salon to rectify this so they can cause more damage. I have previously voiced my concern at a separate visit, about the lack of professionalism and aggressive practice done by some of the techs here. It does not seem to me like this salon truly cares about all of their customers and that is disappointing because I had referred family to this salon but will be warning them to save their money and health of their nails. Also worth noting they would only offer certain customers a water, never once did they offer me a water.
