I even got my mom to do it too the following weekend. I contacted her January 10, 2020 to get my liner done again (thicker and winged this time) and she responded right away. The appointment was set for January 18, 2020 at 1:00 pm and she said she would text me 24 hours in advance to confirm the appointment and get my address since she is mobile now and doesn't have a shop. I didn't get a text. I texted her the morning of the appointment at 9:15 am to see if we were still on for that day. Nothing. I texted again at 12:10 pm. Again, nothing. I got a text back at 12:45 pm saying her phone broke and we would have to reschedule. I wasn't too excited about changing the date and time but I moved some stuff around and told her I was available Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 2 pm. She said she would take off 15% off due to having to reschedule so I appreciated that. It's currently 3:20 pm on January 19, 2020. I have texted and called her twice. No response. No "can we reschedule again?" NOTHING. She was awesome the first time I met her but I am extremely disappointed from what I've seen the last two days. I run a small business on the side so I know how important it is to make sure you text people back and keep appointments. I don't get angry easily and I don't write negative reviews pretty much ever but I'm pretty angry about the lack of any response from her.

So, just a little back story, I've been considering microblading for quite some time---I'm talking quite a few years---but the more I researched and the more I talked with other people, I just didn't feel like the process (and minor pain) would be worth it. Anyway, who cares if because of years of excessive brow plucking, waxing and "shaving" my natural eyebrows were absolutely "non-existent". Who cares if this then, required "adding-in" to my morning routine, an additional session on how accurately and quickly I could draw and fill-in TWO matching eyebrows! Plus, have them look as natural as possible. I CARED! So, I took the leap....re-evaluated all of the "comments/reviews" sections for all of the shops in my area and somehow landed on McKenzie's Brows and Beautie shop. Here's the bottom-line, I made my first appointment with McKenzie and received a great deal of information and "care"....but no joke---it is a bit painful...and I totally left there without the feeling of "great accomplishment", I'd hoped for. But, McKenzie had assured me that the 2nd session, the touchup, (which she schedules right there on the spot...and at no extra charge!) would make it all better...AND GUESS WHAT people...it did and boy do I feel good about my decision now....and my brows look great!
