JUST WOW!. WASTED MONEY... Had my eyebrows threaded, made them too thin. Also had them tinted and the dye was dripping off my face! I always get my eyebrows tinted for the past 6 years, and never have I had that happen. I asked the girl what kind of dye it was and she said she didn't know. WELL I KNEW, it was men's beard dye!! NOT HENNA that they should've been using. I paid for the dye to immediately wash out, and look like thin lines on my forehead. I guess I'm the first to rate. Well, I was looking for a place to get my eyebrows tinted and came across this place on yelp. I really needed needed my eyebrows threaded too. I thought why not go? I didn't really feel like driving across town in Houston 5:00 traffic to my regular lady. So I arrived and let the lady know what services I wanted which was the tint & I really needed them shaped up. She asked if I could come back because she was on a break. I really didn't want to because I just got off of work & was tired and ready to go home. So I looked around and saw some chairs and asked would it be ok to sit there for 15 minutes. She said it would be fine. The 15 minute break was over and she let me know that she was ready and to sit in the chair. She asked me how I wanted it done, I told her exactly how I wanted them to look. Full & natural. She began mixing the tint up and I believe she used Henna for the tint. (Fyi... Eyebrow tint lasts up to 2 weeks & you really don't have to use an eyebrow pencil because the tint makes them look fuller.) When done mixing , she applied to both my eyebrows and left it on for about 5 minutes before wiping it off. Afterwards she threaded my eyebrows which hurt like hell but hey beauty is pain... Right? When she finished the threading she handed me the mirror and it came out really nice . I wish I had taken some before & after shots to post but none the less I was pleased with my brows. The only con is that it's inside of a grocery store where people grocery shopping look at you right in the eyeballs while you are in the chair. I would definitely go back here. Very poor customer service. I have received services from this location 4 times. Upon this last time. the technician was unable to charge my card for service due to their poor internet connection. After 5 mins, I was asked to "check my balance". For $10?!? I told her no.as I wouldn't have given it to you if I could not pay. ** Note: I received the same service, yet 2/4 times the price fluctuated. After 21 mins, she asked me to get cash. WHAT AN INCONVENIENCE!!! I was watched as I went to the bank to withdraw cash, I assume to make sure I didn't run out on $6...the whole time they spoke to each other in non English language but I understood "internet". They should have taken the $6 loss for wasting my time due to their internet connection. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. I will not return. read more

I am an avid eyebrow waxer but several people sung the praises of threading so after lots on convincing I finally went. I shop at HEB all the time and see that they always have a large line of people waiting so it just made me feel more relaxed to change things up. I went when the most experienced threader was there. I explained I preferred a thicker brow as natural as possible just clean me up basically. She explained my brows were damaged and that the shape I was after wasn't doable. Fair enough. I expressed again I still wanted them as natural looking as possible. So she started. She asked me to hold my face a paticular way but wasn't very clear. I explained this was my first time and she seemed to be a bit annoyed. She wasn't rude but she kept saying I would be the reason my eyebrows were messed up if I couldn't hold my face correctly. Ok...... She ran the string across my eyebrow and it was like the burning lasso of Satan! It hurt! I sat through and when she was done she handed me a mirror. My eyebrows were very thin and very, very red. I didn't say anything, paid for my service and said thank you. Needless to say I grew my eyebrows back in and I am on the hunt for a new place. I'm willing to try threading again just not likely to return here. read more

My experience was horrible. Yes, I have been here before and it was a good experience which is why I decided to return. I requested for my eyebrows to be cleaned up and she made one eyebrow smaller than the other. I tried to stop her for her to brush both of my eyebrows before she started and she said "I don't have to". I also requested the manager and she stated she was. I used to go here all the time until my usual go-to lady for eyebrow threading kinda disappeared :( I never got her name, but I'm assuming its Jennifer (from the reviews) because every time I got my brows done by her, they were to PERFECTION. Just a "clean up" exactly what I asked for, no thinning or anything. The last time I got my brows done here by somebody else, it was a much younger woman & she ended up threading about a centimeter of the front of one of my eyebrows off & the tail end of my other eyebrow almost completely off. She managed to remove so much hair in the wrong places in less than 5 minutes. She made them incredibly uneven and SHORT & I have pretty thick eyebrows. I've been anxious to go back ever since, so I've been doing them myself bc of my trust issues from this experience lol read more

I was searching for a place after my regular shop in the galleria was relocated. Even though I didn't like the idea of going into the middle of grocery store to have my eyebrows done I opted to give it a try. Riya, the owner, did an amazing job even correcting the mistakes from a previous lady that I used in the interim. I have been going here for over a year now and although the other ladies seem to do a good job I only trust my eyebrows to Riya. My eyebrows are on the thin side and she is careful to shape them while allowing the previously mis-shaped hairs to grow back in nice and neat. She explains to me why she may hv not removed a specific strand and if there is a stray hair needing removal she will correct. ALWAYS polite and cordial even when she is overwhelmed with long lines. On one occassion she was getting ready to leave for the day but saw me waiting. Rather than leave and let the other lady do it, she took notice that I was a regular and stayed behind to see me. They've changed staff since I initially started going here for threading services and since then I've encountered less than friendly women who appear to be forever annoyed. They don't engage in conversation nor follow through with your preferred eyebrow request. My final appointment was the last straw. There were 3 of us waiting to be serviced, I was last and not once did either of the staff that were there say hello or crack a smile. The only verbiage I heard from them was next person have a seat, a reiteration of the cost of service, and a thank you IF you tipped. When my turn came the threading technician was very rough when positioning my head for better lighting and my eyebrows ended up being two different shapes (arched and not arched). I was not happy with the outcome of my lash extensions session. I've been getting extensions for almost two years now. They hurry through it, and rather than apply individual lashes to EACH lash, they apply a bunch of two or three, which can weigh down natural lashes, causing them to fall out. They also glue some lashes to the skin. Seems like they're just trying to make more money, rather than take the time to make sure the procedure is done correctly. I will say this...They do a GREAT job on threading.... I would give the threading 4 stars. read more

I used to get my lashes done here with Ria, but it truly gets pricey having to go every two wks! I noticed my lashes didn't last as much as they did in the beginning so I had to stop due to having to go every two wks instead of 3 like I did in the beginning. Let me start by saying the work is good. However, upon calling to confirm that they do tinting, the owner couldn't answer the question for telling me that I need to get threading. I said alright but do you tint. She went on about the threading. I'm like, "yes ma'am, I know you thread and am getting that, I just wanted to be sure that you do offer this service ." Ha! She said that someone is there to do it but she isn't. My gosh she worked my nerves. I hate when someone can't fully listen to my question because of cutting in with what he/she has to say. Anyway, I cringe and head in that direction. I walk in and am not acknowledged. (Almost left)No seat, so I stood. (Almost left) Finally it's my turn. I get Jennifer. She has that warm, welcoming, familiar face. This being my first time, I'm telling her that I have a small face and although I'm dark brown, I don't want the bold dark brows. In her own zone, she urges me to get into the chair, but not before giving me the "threading script" that I had already received. Just ask, don't lecture. Clearly what I said meant nothing because I end up with the "NORM" for every other person. The BIG BLACK BOLD BROWS! All I wanted was a brown filling, not so over-the-top, on my small face. The same thing doesn't work for everyone. However, I had to tip her because her artwork was amazing! The brows were very well matched. Jennifer is darn good at her craft and is friendly. I'm going to go back in hopes of getting just what I want and being able to bump up this rating. I hope it works out the next time because I'm not the strike 3 type of gal. Two chances and we're done! I've been here 3 times the service isn't horrible, but I explain to the eyebrow tech exactly what I want, I have even shown her photos of the look I'm going for. Each time she does what SHE feels looks best. I have uneven brows for some reason one of my brows is arched and the other one is round, I explained to her that I want them both arched. each time she tells me that "Brows are sisters not twins". I do not feel that my request is unreasonable. My regular lady is 45 mins away; I'm not saying I won't go back (because it's convenient) but this place is defiantly not my first choice. read more

So after reading the reviews, everyone kept mentioning the manager, Ria, and how great she was. Then after seeing pictures I decided to give her a try for my eyebrows. So after she was done, I was praying I did not get messed up again! So when I looked in the mirror I wanted to scream with excitement!!
