The manager is rude and condescending! I have been a very loyal customer despite every tech I get to know quits because of the manager. Even the new tech Quynh. i reached out for a resolution because for some reason my lashes have been falling out prematurely. She recommended a sealant which is the first time I ever heard of it. I would have done this a long time ago. I would have purchased glue for sensitive eyes and allergies l but no one told me. She cancelled my subscription and told me to take my business elsewhere so I am! I found Star Lashes today which are all the techs that quit here and I will be taking my $200 a month elsewhere. read more

Rude and Unaccountable Manager Lindsey at Amazing Lash Studio Shadow Creek (Pearland) I've been a loyal customer at Amazing Lash Studio on Business Center Drive in Pearland for over 7 years, paying $180 monthly for eyelash extensions. The high stylist turnover--due to poor treatment of staff--has forced me onto a new stylist every couple of years. All three of my stylists have since left and are now working co-own a successful studio, Star Lash & Brow. My most recent stylist , Vy and before that was Xuan ,and Moon quit due to ongoing issues with the manager. Specific incidents with manager Lindsey: * My last appointment on Dec 22 was canceled without proper notice. They claimed a text was sent, but it went to my old phone number (unused for over a year), even though they've successfully sent reminders to my current number every two weeks for that same period. This felt deliberate and avoidable. When I addressed it, manager Lindsey was rude and condescending, saying it's 'not her problem' and that they simply deactivate stylists who leave, leaving customers like me in the lurch. No apology, no accommodation--just an offer to see yet another new stylist. When I called after no confirmation text, staff refused to have Lindsey contact me, Lindsey told me she "doesn't handle customer issues on her day off." * In person, she condescendingly printed "proof" of the text and asked, "Can you read?" No apology for the error--instead, she said she "can't take responsibility for her staff's mistakes." * Months earlier, after I incurred a cancellation fee, I politely asked her to waive it as a courtesy for my long-term loyalty. She flatly refused and told me, "If you don't like the policy, you can go elsewhere." I stayed because of Vy, but Lindsey seemed displeased with my response. This location shows no regard for employees or loyal customers, resulting in constant disruptions and poor service. Lindsey is super rude! I drove 45 minutes to sort out my past-due account. My membership fee is $119, but I got hit with an extra $30 in late fees. I was supposed to have a credit roll over after I paid the balance, and I couldn't book anywhere else until that was sorted. When I got there, I was told that after I paid, my other credit would be released, and I'd have a total of three credits. But after I left, it was a different story. Lindsey said to wait until Tori finished with a customer to reactivate my account. I only saw two credits, and Tori said I had no credit. She never explained that the manager hadn't released the credit yet, which is why Tori only saw two. I called back upset, and she said she'd just refund me since I wasn't getting it and would terminate my membership again after I just drove over to reactivate it. She even took $30 from my existing credit. Honestly, she seemed racist and didn't like that I called it like I saw it. The receptionist/ manager Lindsey gives me attitude and she talks in a very demeaning and unprofessional manner. I am very new to this location, I was going to the River Oaks location. I have a full membership that I pay for every month and I shouldn't have to deal with rude and unhappy staff, especially when I pay my money to come and get my lashes done. I switched locations thinking it would be more convenient which it is, but I didn't ever imagine that I will have to put up with such rude demeaning behavior from a manager at the facility. I had a terrible experience at Amazing Lash Studio for my first time getting lash extensions. I was really excited to try lashes for the first time, but I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. From the start, I felt rushed and wasn't presented with all my options before the appointment began. I didn't receive any guidance or advice on what style or look would work best for my eye shape, which I expected as a first-timer. Clarification: since the manager wants to be up at 4 am responding to reviews instead of actually being accommodating and fixing the issues. They showed me a 4 picture flyer that's it. She did NOT say the lashes would look like I had mascara on. The BiGGEST issue, however, was that the lash tech who worked on me smelled so strongly of weed that it was overwhelming. It made the experience very UNCOMFORTABLE and unprofessional. Anyone can smell weed I didn't need to mention it because it was perfectly obvious, allowing your employee work while under the influence of illegal substances. I expected a much higher standard of service, especially considering how highly recommended this studio was. I wanted to reschedule my appointment due to getting powder brows done a few days prior . so I explained to the receptionist that my eyebrows were peeling and I couldn't have the tape applied. I asked if it was an alternative to having the tape on my brows she replied she didn't know because she wasn't a stylist, my account was charged for my appointment and I wasn't able to attend or get clear answers! if I ever decide to return to an amazing lash which I most likely won't it definitely wouldn't be this location! I went to this location because my sister lives on that side of Pearland. The manager was rude. My sister did not receive good eye lash service and when trying to correct the issue the manager disagreed. The master lash tech said she saw the problem but the manager reluctantly let her fix it. This was a birthday gift from my sister and it turned into a disaster quickly when the manager asked us to leave when we said she had to listen to her customers. She proceeded to kick us out saying that she was going to give attitude if that is what she thought she was getting. I am a medical professional and I know better than to act like this. The manager would not let us get a word in. Trashy attitude. While we were all getting out lashes done there was NO relaxation the tech across the way did not take a breath from her gloating about her life the whole time! DO NOT GO HERE, if you want a relaxing experience, and a crew that is helpful. Do not get a membership. They are not associated with the Better Business Bureau. If you have a complaint or any issues, there is no one to talk to, to resolve. There membership is false. What they do is they sale you on 69.00 a month, but they charge you 138.00 a month because they make you get your lashes done every 2 to 3 weeks. If you do not go within the 2 to 3 weeks and you go the 4th week, they charge you 69.00 again. Which adds up to 138.00. After being a member, I canceled my membership June 10, 2023. On April 22, 2024 Pearland, Tx (Linzie, the manager) charged my card on file 69.00. When I called, she said it's because of a late fee. You wait 10 months to charge my card. Plus I never should have been charged a late fee. I canceled June 10, 2023. There was no payment due. PLEASE - AMAZING LASH STUDIO IS A RIP OFF. read more

I went to amazing lash based on a recommendation. It was my first time receiving lashes. As I arrived I let the lady at the front desk know I was there and she asked me to have a seat. No one had a consultation with me to let me know my options, offer the membership or to let me know how to care for my lashes. As I'm called back to my room Victoria asked me what do I like I told her I like the "sexy" style on the picture she said it's your first time your gonna get the "cute" style but I will make them long it's more better for you. I agreed and she began the process. At the end they were not long nor anything that I wanted. Upon checkout the first young lady did not ask me how my service was but checked me out and said have a nice day. I left and sat in the car cried a little and she called me back because she stated she didn't save my card information. As I went back Karla was the new person that checked me out and that's when the nightmare began. Karla charge me more (still not upset) she stated the First Lady didn't charge me the right master stylist prices. Then she ask would I like a membership I stated no because I don't like my lashes. She said ok have a nice day. I called back in about 30 minutes because I didn't receive any care tips on my lashes. I asked to speak with a manger Karla asked why then hung up in my face. I drove back because that level of disrespect should not be acceptable in customer service. I went back and she continued to cut me off, belittle me, told me the customer is not always right, then called her manager to tell her that I threatened to get her fired. I never once stated that because I wouldn't wish bad on anyone. I did however tell her as a customer service employee her job is to ensure that I feel comfortable and she replied the customer is not always right. The manager called me and offered me to come back and get my lashes redone, but after her making excuses for the employee instead of also listening to the customer and just saying I'm sorry I no longer choose to do business with amazing lash shadow creek. The manager made tons of excuses for Karla and how great of employee she is and no one but me complained on her in 5 months, until I told her I recorded everything then her tone also changed. I never asked for a refund or a discount I just wanted to be treated with respect and a simple apology. My day is less that 5 days away and I just wanted my lashes to be nice. I've been going to the studio for over 6 months. My 1st technician was terrible, my lashes were falling out like crazy the 1st few days after the service. I went in for a correction & the appointment was with master technician, Linda. She did a good job and I went to her for my next couple of appointments. Due to my schedule, I had to make an appointment with another technician, Swan, and I fell in love with her work. I only booked with her afterwards. There was confusion during my appointment in November. They were telling me I didn't have an appointment with Swan and offered another technician. They were training someone new) I knew I had made an appointment with Swan so I asked what was going on..turns out they had mixed me up with another customer. I had my appointment with Swan and I was very happy. I also made my next appointment for the 17th...so I thought. Turns out the appointment wasn't put in the system, even though I was told it was..due to scheduling issues I had to book with another technician. I had about 35% of my lashes on one eye and a lil over 40% on the other. When the front desk person asked if it was full or refill, I said I'm not sure because for some reason I thought you had to have 50% of your lashes left for a 3 week refill. After researching I now know reputable companies will take 35-40% for a 3 week refill. The front desk person said, I'll just put you down for a full set and we can change if we need to. I knew in my gut they were going to try & charge me for a full set no matter what & they did. I went to the technician, she was done in about 45-50 min...for a full set that they tell you will take approximately 2 hours. The job was pretty enough though nothing like Swan's but oK enough. I was sure she wasn't gonna charge me for a full set because it took less than an hour and well, my lashes weren't full. With the added fees (master & volume) the total came out to $160. I actually got charged $165. I was trying to ask why it was so expensive for a member and also told them the service I just received was not worth $160. Swan's service is worth that but not the service I received that day. I get home to my lashes falling out within hours and my lashes looking uneven and like a classic or hybrid set. Today I have more falling out & a gap in the middle of one eye after 2 days. I absolutely feel ripped off and I'd suggest anyone to think hard before patronizing this company. They hit you for a master's fee, the fact that they have to differentiate is very telling. Due to my 1st experience I was scared to try someone who wasn't a master. They up charge for volume but it seems they don't have a standard when it comes to volume and that it's at the technician's discretion. I'm canceling my subscription and won't go back & am considering talking to my credit card company because I absolutely feel ripped off. Just had another lash fallout as I'm writing this...terrible. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because Xuan is amazing & Linda is very good too. Speaking with a manager just made the experience worse. The line of questioning, telling me there are some people won't go to the stylist I prefer either. That the stylist I went to has been there from the beginning. Never addressing the fact the I had lashes falling out. Never addressing the fact that my original appointment wasn't logged in the first place. Again, the customer service is subpar. **Update. Quick & easy phone call with Courtney (manager at Pearland Pkwy & I think the area manager) and all is well. She booked a correction appointment for me with Xuan and my lashes are perfect. I still won't be returning but I do appreciate Courtney making sure that the problem was corrected.** read more

Let me start with I really enjoyed getting my lashes done here and thought Linda did a great job. I arrived at 10:35 5/18 for my scheduled appointment at 10:50. I checked in and sat to wait. At 10:59, another woman asked how much longer for her tech. I also inquired for mine (9 minutes late with no update). The front desk girl told me my appointment didn't start until 11 in a tone I perceived as rude. I showed where I had been giving 2 confirmation texts saying I had a 10:50 appointment. At 11:10 (20 minutes past my appointment), I start getting visibly annoyed. The other front desk attendent said she'd grab the manager. The manager asked what was wrong and when I explained she defended the employee saying her tone didn't seem rude and that she can't see what time the appointments are. Manager should have apologized for the inconvenience instead of covering and making excuses for her rude employee. Long story short, the management sucks at customer service and lost a membership because of it. I have gone to this location multiple times and I can say that this place is very welcoming and friendly. Mariah at the front desk helped me today and she was awesome, friendly, and made my checkout smooth since I usually have issues with other locations due to my account. I love how they are just helpful and not rushing any appointments. Linda was my stylist and I am loving her work. She was pretty fast at applying my extensions which I can not complain about. She already knew what I wanted when she came into the room ready to work. I do recommend booking with her but definitely this location is preferred! read more

I signed up at the River Oaks location but live in the Pearland area. I always went to RO until I needed a last minute appointment close to home. I am so glad I visited here. The first time I had Victoria and they came out better than anyone who did my lashes at the RO location. My second visit (I cant remember the name, sorry) was just as amazing. If I could give zero I would. This was my first and last experience. Don't ever go to this location. The worst customer service ever. The evening before my appointment they sent me a text message advising me that they required a 50% deposit. I called but the location was closed. Mind you, I had already booked my appointment online. The day of my appointment I called to see if the appointment was still confirmed due the required deposit. Upon calling the location representative advised me that the appointment had been canceled. I advised the representative that I was upset because the required deposit should've been communicated the day that I booked the appointment. She was able to keep my appointment and I was happy about that. When I arrived, the same representative checked me in and we went over the services that I booked. We agreed and it was made aware that they would try their best to get me as close to the picture that I showed them as possible. The services that I requested and paid for were a full set lash appointment. The lash tech rushed because she had an appointment after me. The tech did a horrible job and did NOT even come close to the picture that I showed. When I went to check out, I was upset but was never "LOUD". I advised the representative that I was not happy with the services and that the picture that I showed them wasn't even close. The representative had another tech come and add more lashes. When I went to check out to see if there was a balance, the representative told me that I was not allowed to book at this location again and that I was hostile. Lol! Ridiculous! I never used file language, I never degraded anyone, I never was loud but because I voiced that I was unhappy with services, the representative told me that I wasn't allowed at this location. I love this place! I've been here a couple times before and the staff was so friendly every time! This morning I was able to call and schedule an appointment and get right in! Mikaela did my lashes and she is a magician! She took her time with me and answered all of my questions. I chose the "gorgeous" lashes option and I so SO happy with the results! In the past, my lashes have always lasted around 6 weeks - that's longer than they advertise, but I also take a lot of care to not run my eyes.
