I haven't seen much reviews of her work and I wanted to give her a 10/10 review bc despite the language barrier she killed it! I went for the classic mink full set, and my natural lashes were already dark long and pin straight (asian lashes), she gave me a longer length and a D curl! I've been going to lash junkie for a few years now and experienced quite a few technician. They are all great. Recently, I've had the pleasure of having Helen as my technician for my 3 week mink refill. She is very meticulous and her work is done with the utmost quality. Her previous application lasted longer than usual. She is a very kind individual as well. I was impressed. I definitely would recommend lash junkie, more specifically Helen. Thank you. Another technician, I would recommend is Jennifer. She is currently on leave, but she did my lash all last year/ most of this year and loved her too! Second time I come here! First time was a couple months back maybe a year ago actually, first time I thought the lift didn't work on one eye compared to another but they made and appt and fixed it at no extra charge! So I went back a year later this time with a different lady but same salon, after 2 days of the lift I noticed my lashes were damaged!! I searched online and it said she permed them for too long! I'm so pissed I shouldn't have went back!! Just to confirm first appt was with Vivian 'she didn't ruin my lashes at least'! Second appt was with Ruby N ' the one that ruin my lashes'! When I scheduled my appointment, I am guessing I had a typo with my phone number. I put the area code as 291 instead of 281. I got an email the night before to confirm my appointment which I promptly responded to saying "yes" and updating my phone number to the correct area code. On the day of my appointment, 01/30/2020, I received a text message if I could come in at 12:00. I texted back saying no I couldn't as I had another appointment scheduled at that time. It was a little weird. They said that's fine, we will see you at 1:00... but I had scheduled my appointment for 1:30 PM and even sent the confirmation for my original appointment time. I got there at 1:20, which was 10 minutes early for the appointment I scheduled. The process felt a bit rushed. The room was very cold and it had been raining which added to how cold it felt. I had to ask for a blanket as it was never offered to me. I was a first timer but the process wasn't explained to me. When I got out, I signed the release and waiver. The person at the front desk stated my tech was rushing and forgot to get me to sign it. As for my lashes, they are stick straight so I was really looking forward to my lift + tint. Pictures are below. They lifted but they did not curl up like I've seen others do. Maybe it was my lashes? Maybe they didn't have enough time to set? Anyway, I'm pretty displeased. I still tipped my tech 20% so the total for the lift and tint was $90. Update 01/03/2020: I was contacted by the salon for a touch-up, so I am changing my rating from 2 to 3 stars and will update my review after the touch-up accordingly. Update 01/05/2020: I am changing my rating from 3 to 5 stars. Everyone was so nice when I came in and Emily made sure I was warm and comfortable while my lashes set. My lashes had a more definitive curl this time. Tips: *Come showered as you aren't supposed to get your lashes wet for at least 36 hours after. *If you're cold natured make sure to bring a sweater and pants. Ask for the blanket! read more

I went here to get my lashes done since it was close by and seemed to have good reviews on Yelp. The website was a bit sketchy and hard to understand. They do not disclose what length or curl or types of lashes they have on the website other than "volume sets" or "ellipse mink sets" or things like that. There is not much information. The first time I got my lashes done, I felt as if they were too short for me while not being very symmetrical. One part of my lashes was dropping down a bit and it didn't look well-put together. My lash technician barely talked to me and didn't tell me what type of lash he was going to do on my eyes-- instead, he just went right ahead and did the work. There wasn't a language barrier because I also spoke the same language that the workers speak fluently along with fluent English and I could tell everyone there had good English and were also good with their native tongue. However, I believe in tipping and thanking service workers, and they were kind, but two workers asked me why I said thank you before the service twice. When I finished my first set, I didn't enjoy it too much but it didn't look bad. It just looked like my natural lashes but with mascara on them. I should have specified I wanted longer lashes with a D-curl. I got my eyebrows waxed after and had a burn on my forehead for days. It took one week for the burn to fade away. The next day after I got my lashes done, despite not getting them wet and sleeping upright and following all post-lash procedures, I experienced a lot of fall out. I contacted the salon for a free touch up. My touch up made my lashes look better and I enjoyed it, but after a week my lashes seemed to be falling out again. I made sure to specify that I wanted 14mm lashes with a D-curl and a voluminous look that wasn't too dramatic. After one week, I noticed a large amount of fall-out again. I decided to go back to the salon and get a one week refill because I had a special event the next day. At this point, I spent about $200 already. The refill was $50, but the person I had did a subpar job of a refill this time. My lashes didn't look like they were filled in. There were some empty spaces. I thought one eye was a different length than the other. The lash technician didn't even ask what prior length or curl I had, and she started putting 13mm lashes on my left eye before I asked her what kind of lash she was using. A lash technician friend I had told me the job done at this location was not performed well. She also showed me that the lash lengths were in fact, different. I came in for a touch up and loved the final look, but the workers were not friendly and I even had some lashes on my waterline, which is dangerous. It was irritating my eye and I had to get those removed off my waterline. Attached are pictures of my final lash touch-up. Will not be returning here again. read more

I have been going to Lash Junkie since 2021 on and off. I unfortunately missed my appointment at my usual lash place, so I booked an appointment with Emily on 12/16 for ellipse full set for the first time in about a year. Booking an appointment is nice and easy as you can do it online. Emily was my go-to tech and I had gotten the ellipse set before and had liked it, so I thought this would be okay. However, when she was done with my lashes, it hurt to open my eyes, my eyes were burning, and I could see the thick lashes in my peripherals, which I despise as I've always been a fan of the more natural look. I check the mirror, and I see these GINORMOUS, feathery lashes. Emily was actually asking me if I have Yelp and if she could "borrow it". Um, to do what? But I was way too focused on how horrible my lashes looked that I ignored that part she asked and inquired if this was the ellipse set because it looked more like a mega volume. She said since I have a history of booking ellipse but end up getting hybrid due to my lack of lashes, she did hybrid on me. One, this was never communicated. I think that if I have to pay for a service, I should be aware of any changes and I should be on board with it as well, without taking the "history" into consideration as I had not been back at this place in about a year or so. Two, this was NOT hybrid as I had gotten hybrids before, but this looked more like mega volume. I told Emily that this is too much and she replied "Really? Just for a few days". Just for a few days? Are they going to fall out and start magically looking better? I said No, I want more of a natural look, so she started removing some off of me. She admitted she should have done ellipse in the first place. Almost 2.5 hours later, she was finally done and I was already running late to the holiday party I was supposed to go to. I still was not satisfied with the work as it still was too much, but it looked better than what it was. My eyes were still burning and they were bright red from too much glue, and I asked to speak to her manager. She told me the manager was not in today. Initially, they were going to make me pay full price, but I verbalized my unhappiness and the time I've wasted for the service I didn't even ask for or agree with, and she gave me a 30% discount. I went home and it continuously hurt to blink and lashes were falling out. Needless to say, I've learned my lesson and will not be going back. read more

I love Lash Junkie Studios! I've been to many lash parlors prior and I've enjoyed Lash Junkies the most since becoming a client 6 months ago. Jennifer takes care of my lashes every two weeks and it's quick in and out process just like I like it! I go every two weeks because that's what I was use to doing prior to lash experience. I could go 3-4 weeks but I choose not to. Lash fallouts aren't a huge issue, I have normal lash fallouts not a ridiculous amount by the time I need a refill. The results are amazing every single time, Jennifer does an amazing job! The atmosphere is very relaxing and calming, staff is welcoming. The facility is clean.
