Rude and Unaccountable Manager Lindsey at Amazing Lash Studio Shadow Creek (Pearland)…read more I've been a loyal customer at Amazing Lash Studio on Business Center Drive in Pearland for over 7 years, paying $180 monthly for eyelash extensions. The high stylist turnover--due to poor treatment of staff--has forced me onto a new stylist every couple of years. All three of my stylists have since left and are now working co-own a successful studio, Star Lash & Brow. My most recent stylist , Vy and before that was Xuan ,and Moon quit due to ongoing issues with the manager. Specific incidents with manager Lindsey: * My last appointment on Dec 22 was canceled without proper notice. They claimed a text was sent, but it went to my old phone number (unused for over a year), even though they've successfully sent reminders to my current number every two weeks for that same period. This felt deliberate and avoidable. When I addressed it, manager Lindsey was rude and condescending, saying it's 'not her problem' and that they simply deactivate stylists who leave, leaving customers like me in the lurch. No apology, no accommodation--just an offer to see yet another new stylist. When I called after no confirmation text, staff refused to have Lindsey contact me, Lindsey told me she "doesn't handle customer issues on her day off." * In person, she condescendingly printed "proof" of the text and asked, "Can you read?" No apology for the error--instead, she said she "can't take responsibility for her staff's mistakes." * Months earlier, after I incurred a cancellation fee, I politely asked her to waive it as a courtesy for my long-term loyalty. She flatly refused and told me, "If you don't like the policy, you can go elsewhere." I stayed because of Vy, but Lindsey seemed displeased with my response. This location shows no regard for employees or loyal customers, resulting in constant disruptions and poor service. After years of patience, Ii have cancel my membership and following my talented stylists Vy, Xuan and her sister Moon to Star Lash and Brow. Star Lash and Brow in Pearland. Only a few minutes from Amazing Lash!

When I tried to use the gift cards, I was told they would not be honored, with no exceptions and no grace period. While I understand that ownership changes happen, it's incredibly frustrating that a business could purchase an existing business, and would refuse to stand behind purchases made just weeks prior. There was no communication, no transition period, and no effort to make things right for customers who supported the business in good faith. The new owners stated that the other Milano locations would honor the gift cards - that is not true. All are independently owned. At a minimum, a short grace period would have shown respect for loyal and LOCAL customers. Instead, this experience left me feeling taken advantage of and unlikely to return.

Unorganized and inexperienced! I decided to try a local more convenient salon, got recommendations from friends and decided on this place. Chris came highly recommended for color and cut. I called to make an appointment for myself and 2 daughters. (Spoke to him) We all had appointments at the same time with different hair stylists. Once checked in, Chris said he didn't even know he had an appointment and had no time to do color. So he passed me on to another stylist (Jane). Whom I am assuming didn't have much experience with color. All I needed was to cover my gray. She did an awful job matching my hair color. I have dark brown/black hair and afterwards my hair had light brown/reddish tints. My grays look like light brown hi lights. SO DISAPPOINTING! Definitely not worth the $90 for color! My oldest daughter has very thick hair. She asked for long layers and her hair to be thinned out a little. She got a nice long layer cut but it's still too thick and doesn't look cut in layers unless she uses a flat iron. My other daughter just needed a trim and wanted bangs. She got the trim and I had to remind Chris she also wanted bangs even though I told him twice! He got frustrated and said she'd have to wait because he had to start on another clients color. Just overall inexperience and bad customer service. We will never go there again! read more

I called you after 3 weeks as I was wondering what you have done to my hair ? My hair start falling off soon after you did some harsh chemicals on my hair and named it as split end mender . I loose 80 % of my hair so far . I went to doctor when I heard diplomatic comment from you that I must have done some thing to my hair soon after I called and complained . Where as I was the one who was using correct products for after care after first brazillian blow out and maintained my hair good before I made my mistake to coming back to you . Doctor checked my hair and said that there is harsh chemicals are used on the hair and that's why it is breaking from mid shaft of hair not from roots . My hair are growing real good and full on my roots . But as soon as you see the mid shaft it is breaking . I own my own business and know how to provide right products and give clients what we charge them . Very disappointed by your work . You should have charged me more and would have given me the correct service and use correct products at least I would be having hair on my head . On the top you are trying to play this blame game on me after messing up my hair . I am the one who is having bad hair full in my scalp and bald from mid shaft . Very disappointed. read more

I just moved to Texas and was looking for someone to do my hair. After reading the reviews I decided to try this place and it was even better than expected! I called and the woman that answered was very friendly and helpful. I scheduled an appointment with Chris and he did wonders on my hair! He was so nice and helpful; I needed someone to explain how to style my hair to give me volume and what a good shampoo would be for my hair and he was above and beyond! When I went in I didn't have a great idea of what I wanted so I gave some vague suggestions and then told him to do whatever he thought was best and I ended up with exactly what I had envisioned! I went to Chris for color and a haircut. Y'ALL.. It's the first time in well over 10 years that I have left a salon, not only satisfied but genuinely HAPPY with my hair!! I LOVE IT! He was amazing! I called first and ended up getting there a little later than I intended to and he took me without a complaint.. He even stayed an hour past closing to make sure it was perfect! I told him how nervous I was because of all the past (terrible) experiences I've had and he was so patient with me and talked me through everything!! I just moved to the area and called and booked an appointment online, I immediately got a call back from Chris the assistant manager at the salon. He told me we normally close at 5 but would be very glad to stay after given my situation. I am a flight attendant by profession and I needed someone who could do my hair around 5 on evenings. Chris was a complete professional who knows his stuff. The whole service from start to finish was very educating. I learned things about my hair that I didn't even know. He then sent me home with a private line that they carry that you cant buy in stores. I used it last night and it is amazing product. I will definitely be coming back to this salon. I love this salon. I have been getting my hair cut and colored at Kutz & Styles since Feb. 2015. I have never been one to stick to a haircut/color schedule but Chris, my stylist, makes it so relaxing and enjoyable; I look forward to my monthly appointments. He's friendly, funny, and seriously talented. My hair was in terrible shape and Chris has worked with me to get it healthy again. It's not a fancy looking place but I kind of like that. I feel so comfortable here and I haven't met a stylist that I didn't like. My children also get haircuts @ Kutz & Styles. I have been searching for a hair salon for years that can do my baby fine hair as I like to keep my hair long and highlighted. I have tried several hair salons and I was never happy with the results. Until yesterday, I was fortunate to find Kutz & Styles after reviewing all the positive reviews on Yelp. The salon is close to my home and I was fortunate to get an appt with Chris. He is outstanding, as he carefully listened to me and did exactly what I wanted. He knows how to treat a customer and knows what he is doing. Chris at Kutz & Styles is a very good hair cutter. He made my hair look much better just by cutting it a little different and using a different product on my hair afterward. My hair looks great, so great I bought a can of their product and it has made me look very good. It was the same price as the chain haircut stores in Pearland, so this choice was a real no brainer to come to a real cut and style studio. I've lived in Pearland for 3+ yrs now, but have been driving all the way to Cypress to continue getting my hair done by my previous stylist. Love this place! I've been going to Chris for haircuts for a couple of years. He's the best! Phyllis, the owner, is super sweet. Yesterday, Chris also cut and styled my daughter's extremely thick and curly hair. At other places, her hair cuts look great if her hair is left natural but if straightened it's a mess. I've been going to this salon since 2022 when we first moved to the area and had no complaints…read more However the last 2 times I've went here I've had the same stylist and she does the opposite of what I ask for. The last time I was there I asked for my layers to be cut shorter because they were grown out and small bangs. The hairstylist proceeded to 2 pieces of my hair shorter than the rest of it making my hair look choppy and uneven. She didn't even cut me any bangs as-well. My layers looked exactly the same than they looked before just were styled. I never thought I would say this but i will not continue going to this salon which is crazy because I used to love it. I guess the new employees are just not as awesome as the old ones. The only pleasant part of my visit was going to the restroom because it did smell nice in there. I will be finding a better salon in my area.

As I began to style my hair for the first time since the service I noticed that my hair was not done correctly. You see orange spots , blonde to brown , not blended etc. I reached out to Michelle and asked for a refund but she refused because of the all "time" and "product" she used. I understand that part but you didn't do it right! And now I have to go spend Another couple $100 dollars to get my hair fixed and color corrected which is so expensive! My hair is everything to me so this really broke my heart and I would really like a full refund!! GOT BOTCHED UPDATE: Now she is trying to say I have different names when clearly my name is Staphany Gabrielle Gonzalez. It doesn't even matter about who or what name or what services. You messed up my hair , end of story.
