Finally a great waxing place where I feel comfortable going to, and it doesn't hurt too bad. I've…read morebeen going here for a while, from a recommendation by a friend, and I'm so glad I was introduced to here. Drew is my girl! In the past year, they moved to their own separate office building now, which is nice because it's easier to find their office and there is plenty of parking in the area. It's not even that much further down from their previous office building that they were in. Drew makes me feel so comfortable every time I come in. First of all, getting waxing done in general already feels uncomfortable and usually hurts quite a bit (if you have a low pain tolerance like me), but I feel like the time goes by so fast every time I come here. My appointments normally are about 15-20 minutes long, which doesn't feel like it at all. Drew is so easy to talk to, and I love catching up with her every time I come in. The technique that she uses also doesn't really hurt as bad compared to other waxing places I've been to before. I can't imagine going anywhere else for waxing now, and I HIGHLY recommend coming here! It's a great price and appointments are so easy to book online too.

Unfortunately I will not be coming back to this…read moreplace, I had specifically asked for the styrofoam sandals since I had came in with shoes, to which I was told my toes were "dry". I get home and take my shoes off and my toes are ruined, which then I have to proceed to drive back to the nail place. I walk in and tell them the situation, which I got laughed at in my face. Which I did not see necessary given that it's frustrating having to come back and having asked prior to leaving to be given the sandals they provide. Prior to this I had many small interactions with some of the workers which rubbed me the wrong way but after this situation, this was my last straw and I will not be returning.

Location: This nail shop is located in a busy shopping center near the Costco in Pearland. Parking: Parking is kind of jammed packed. Its a small lot and packed on the weekday when we went. Customer Service: We were walk-ins in the middle of the week, so we were attended to quickly. We got there kind of late in the day at around 5:40p, but they were still able to accommodate us. Even when you go up to their closing time, they don't rush you or make you feel unwanted. I appreciate that because I truly needed to get my nails done, but am working on limited timing. You also get an adult or regular beverage with your service. FYI, since we went past the closing time for the nail shop, all of the Nail Techs usually leave. If you are the type to give a cash tip directly to your Nail Tech, you can opt to give it to her at the time of service or leave it with the person. Ambiance: The nail shop is a typical one. Beautiful decor, big screen TVs, massage chairs. Essentially, I will be back! Great service, for sure!

The service of the (tatted blond) tech is why I went back. I usually go to a spa down West Grey,…read morebut that day, they had no availability. When I walked-in, I was greeted kindly and the wait time was nonexistent. The place is basic with white walls, ~4-6 private rooms and 1 restroom (accessible). I was offered a special on a Brazilian (buy one, get one free). Now, the follow-up session went better than I expected. The tech was mindful of the wax's temperature and asked me before starting. I've been burned before at a different shop, so this aspect of the experience made all the difference. The second time I was here I agreed to waxing my underarms for something like $22. She didn't hold my skin tight enough and it hurt more than it needed to. My skin was extra raw and still not smooth, no oil afterwards. I carry a roll on coconut oil so that helped me out. While I'm accustomed to waxing--creams, powder, strips, sugar, etc.--no aftercare counseling provided. They is a poster on the room's wall I was in that covers a few key points, but it is not enough information. The location is convenient. Note: I asked for sugar, but I'm still not 100% sure if it's 100% that. Whatever they used seems like a quality product though. They Note: If you have curly hair, no preventative care. Be careful treating ingrown hairs if you DIY.
