I normally go to this place and have had no complaints but I went to get my face waxed and my eyebrows threaded but the lady who did my wax burned the right side of my chin more than a size of a quarter and little burns by my left temple closer to my eye. Needed a eyebrow threading place in the area because I got tired of driving to my old favorite. I wasn't head over heels with trying someone new (when you find the perfect eyebrow lady, you typically stay with them), but I needed someone close by. I like how they only allow a few customers inside at a time due to covid. The shop is a decent size but the threading area is smaller and towards the front, so I appreciate the safety measures being taken. Got my eyebrows done and they look great! I'm not a fan of floss they use, but it gets the job done. Can't quite explain it but those that get eyebrows threaded, you can simply tell when a different kind/quality of floss is used. Quick and convenient place to get your threading and waxing needs. Sarita is gentle with eyebrows and brazilian wax. She wears gloves when waxing but I did notice she used the same wooden spool for the entire waxing job which most deem unsanitized. I usually do my own waxing and never double dip in the wax. Maybe if you ask, she'll change the stick with each dip into the communal wax? Anyways, it was fast and gentle so I let it go, figured the hot temp with kill anything. read more

Eyebrow Review!!! If I could give a lower review than 1 star I would. I spent months growing my brows out to get them done so they could be full. I usually go to the "Oh My Brows" in Houston but discovered this one closer to where I lived and decided to give it a shot. The taller woman of the 2 that work there was the one to do my brows. It's ironic, because when I sat down in her chair, she told me how nice my eyebrows were. She took her time, so I thought. Had a good conversation but when I sat up to look in the mirror the results couldn't have been worse. I had 2 COMPLETELY different brows. She made my right one so thin I felt like I was in 2002. Then my left brow was thick and short at the end. The picture I posted doesn't do it justice because I immediately went home to try to do damage control with my tweezers. I asked the other woman to fix them but she refused to get involved. The lady that did my eyebrows tried to reason why they looked so drastically different, arguing that I had a scar in one eyebrow-- which is 100% false. I haven't had eyebrows this bad since high school. Please look at picture below from AFTER my extensive efforts to try to fix them. They are still completely different shapes but it was the best I could do without going even thinner. Worst experience ever. Will not be returning!! read more

As someone with thick brows and concerned with my appearance, I took a big gulp and starting threading years back. If you are a man, get over the fact that you are not expected to be here and go get your bushy "eye wigs" tamed--your bf/gf/partner, whoever, will thank you. I had been a loyal customer of a threader in the Reliant/NRG area but, they were always super busy and some estheticians didn't work on men so, I decided to give this place a try, being that is so close to home. All of the estheticians here have been very professional and paid very close to my requests. They have never made me feel out of place or uncomfortable. I have read other reviews about a lack of communication between client and employee, however, that falls at the feet of the customer. When you go in to get your hair done, you would never sit down and expect the stylist to read your mind. You might end up looking like Jennifer Aniston circa 1998. Being a man, I was fearful that some of the techs might start shaping my brows, with a bit of a "feminine" skew, which would be wrong for my face. Men (and women) please communicate all of your requirements so, you don't have jacked up brows for a several weeks. Better to feel pushy than to be displeased with the result. read more

I found this place when I was Yelp searching and I'm all about supporting new business, so I decided to go early (when they open) to give them a try. Personally when it comes to eyebrows, I'm not too picky, I just prefer them not to be too thin. But when I went into the establishment, I was greeted and welcomed. I paid $10 for just my eyebrows which isn't too bad from what I was paying at first ($8). I really enjoyed the temple/forehead massage the technician provided, MUCH NEEDED lol. I saw Oh My Brows on the Yelp search engine earlier that day but I did not plan to get a free Eyebrow threading service. Not to mention it was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded. I was with my mom grocery shopping, I saw the flyers around the Shadow Creek parking lot and decided to give it a go. Man, I'm glad I got it done here. I plan on coming back AGAIN. The receptionist was friendly as well as the young lady who worked on my ugly looking brows! I was nervous. Thinking I would experience some sort of pain... I guess the staff member could tell by me moving so tense. I'm embarrassed that I didn't ask for her name. I've had problems with them trying to get the shape right 'cause my brows grow curly and have spaces in between. She worked some magic, her practices we very neat and sanitary. Don't get ur lashes done here! Paid to have lash clusters done on a Thursday evening. By Saturday morning several clusters were loose on my lid or had fallen out completely. Immediately Went back so they could correct and was told the tech was out till Tuesday!! Only 1 person of the 4-5 techs can do lashes. Very disappointed. read more

A little bit pricey I think. $10 for eyebrows only. Normal price is 6 to 8 dollars. My was done started with wax and she had to use threading to clean it up. The store is very clean and neat. Got my eyebrows done yesterday, with a lady on the right side, with blonde-brown ombré style hair. Not sure her name. However, I know I won't be going back here for sure! I was hoping it wouldn't be as bad as they say, but i felt like she beat my face with that thread. I actually have 2-3 cuts under each eyebrow. $14 for both lip & eyebrow was not worth it! "Next, please!" "Eyebrow??" "Rest your head!" This was the extent of my interaction with the woman on the right as you enter the shop. She gave no more human interaction than that! No simple hello, no what can I do for you, no question about what I wanted my brows to look like. She made no effort to make me comfortable in the chair and after a minute of her working, her co-worker had to ask her to adjust my head rest because she could see I was not comfortable. My head had no support. When her co-worker told her to adjust the headrest, the woman made a face in my direction as if she didn't want to do it. Mind you, the service was complete before she adjusted the headrest. Save your money, go elsewhere or go to the Holcombe location. read more
