There are several games you can choose from , our favorite was the pirate tic tac toe . The staff assisted me with the best technique to throw the axe , after a while I got the hang of it , although my boyfriend was a true natural ! We also got to do some Billiard games for no additional cost . Saturday afternoon was bustling with children , so we decided not to check out the arcade or lasertag . I plan on going again within a couple of weeks , as I got a credit to try out another attraction . This is a LONG overdue review. I have loved Lasertron since I was a child. I remember back in the day when it had TWO laser tag rooms (one was a 1 level only the other was 2 levels). I even remember that game where you drove around in a circular bumper car with a ball you had to score with (I think it was called whirly ball)??? I even remember when the golf section first opened! I had 3 parties here as a kid and this place always held a special place in my heart. As I got older, I saw it change and in a weird way it aged with me. What used to be a "kids" place definitely became an "adult space"(mixed with family friendly fun). But I loved seeing that change! It made Lasertron still feel like a place my friends and I could go to as a young adults. I also want to say that the service was and always is impeccable. I've never ran into a single rude employee here. Everyone's always so kind. I've lived in Los Angeles now for 8 years and NO place comes close to how amazing Lasertron is. It's like a gem of Buffalo. I'm so serious. Laser tag here is NOT good. That's why whenever I visit Buffalo, I ALWAYS stop by here. My niece & nephew still live in Buffalo so it's family tradition for me to bring them to Lasertron whenever I visit! I wish Lasertron would expand beyond Buffalo because I miss it so much. That being said, Bullwinkle's in Upland, California actually has a mini Lasertron now inside of it! I went with my fiancé a few months ago and I was surprised to see "Lasertron" listed on their laser tag section. I kept telling him, "maybe Lasertron is coming to California!!" I asked the employees at Bullwinkle's and none of them knew if Lasertron had a co-ownership with them or if they had a deal to just have their laser tag AND axe throwing in their business. I'm so curious how that collaboration worked but it gave me hope that Lasertron will slowly but surely start making its way here! Best place to go Ax throwing hands down!!! Secret hack- check groupon they can have some incredible deals running. The Ax throwing is in an adults only area so there are no children so the noise is much lower. The ability for lasertron to be able to project on the wood allows for tons of different games making the time fly by and allowing you to try different types of games like tick tac toe and trivia. I really do love this place. Haven't been here in years. Came back on a Saturday night after about 8 years away. They have changed a few of the games. There's no more whirly ball / cyber sports, nor go kart, no mini golf. Instead, the whirlyball / cyber sports is nothing. And the go kart and mini golf area is now enclosed and has axe throwing, darts, pool tables, places to sit and drink. Main attraction is the laser tag. There are games every hour. It's a lot of lasers and sounds and flashing lights. Not idea for anyone who experiences from seizures. There's a handful of rules for laser tag including no running (although many still do) and staying a few feet apart. The guns are newer and includes more options to shoot laser but that wasn't really explained well in the briefing. You will absolutely sweat. Bring an extra shirt if you decide to continue your night afterwards. With a purchase of lasertag, you get a 10 dollar credit to play arcade which was clutch. That lasted a hour and we still had 2 dollars left over on our card. The credits expire 20 days after you load it. So its best to use it all at one time. My kids favorite place to go recently. We got the memberships for 20 dollars a month which allows you to play everyday. The good thing is if you don't use it that month the money rolls into your account which you can use for food or money to bring a friend. Well worth the investment. The arena action itself is really fun and good exercise. If there are less players they have different game modes to still make the game exciting. The pizza is only 10 dollars for a large with a membership. Not the greatest but kids will like it. The chicken fingers and fries however are fantastic. Perfect with a lasertron surprise at an end of a great game. This would be a great place for a kids party or an after work party as a team building exercise. Lasertron is one of those activities that you pretend you're attending because you have kids and that your enjoyment truly comes from watching them experience the special occasion. Right... just like you don't really enjoy kick ball, hop scotch, pinning a tail on a donkey and staying up super late to watch Toy Story while eating a bowl full of candy. Liar. Once you start playing a Battle Royal with your neighbors and their kids, it will soon become evident that you're all a bunch of liars, especially when you draft an all adult team and start tagging the snot out of your own kids like we did! In our defense: 1) the game is slightly complicated for younger minds- you're on the green team but then you're tagged out so now you're on the purple team, and you need to recharge in a purple zone, and now you can shoot green people, but not purple, but green can shoot everyone all the while NOBODY IS ALLOWED TO RUN... 2) Lasertron makes it easy to ridicule rival teams (sometimes referred to as "bullying", in kid speak)- after each match the winning team of moms or dads pops up on the screen for the rest of the group to cheer or boo, and the leader of the "Purple Storm" (best loser, and usually someone's kid) also pops up for the same treatment. 3) They serve beer at the bar- beer. Not to mention, there is a litany of other fun stuff to do here, many of which you aren't ashamed to decidedly proclaim you enjoy, and feel not even a lick of remorse for crushing your kid's stupid hopes and dreams while partaking. Not just for kids! Lasertron is a really great for team-building, exercise...yeah, parents and other adults, you can have just as much fun here! So I hadn't visited Lasertron since I was probably a high school freshman, and coming back to this place as an adult absolutely blew me away. We had a Yelp Fit Club event here, and had the chance to play a few games to test our heart rates. I learned just how much cardio you can engage here if you really put yourself into it, so when we picked up our 30 day cards I was absolutely determined to continue coming here! I caught the Laser tag bug, and have been making it a promise to myself to visit at least once per week. I've already renewed my 30 day card since then, and I am so obsessed. They have different membership packages if you like playing Laser Tag, mini-golf, Cyber Sport, riding the big wheels, and arcade games, but if you purchase the 30-day card you get one free attraction a day for an entire month, and you're basically paying a little bit more than what you would if you only came to Lasertron once. So it's very much worth it if you come back more than once, and it's cheaper than a gym membership. I've only ever done Laser tag, but will definitely be coming back to play the others during the summer. With Laser tag there are several different types of games you could play, and they'll explain the rules when you go in to play. Wednesday nights are the tactical nights, where the rules are a little bit different to make the game more challenging, and you also get to play 2 games instead of 1! The staff here are absolutely awesome. They do a great job at keeping groups organized, encouraging safe game play and are pretty friendly on top of that! I haven't been to Lasertron in years mainly because It really seemed like a venue for kids,much like any other "kid" attraction. So I was a little hesitant to come back. I'm glad I overcame hesitation, otherwise, I would of missed out on stress relieving fun. Lasertron has adult sessions and adult hours. This is great if you want to have a team building event, or even hang out with a bunch of friends on the weekend. They also have a bar, and food options to choose from. With the traditional Lasertron we knew as a kid, it has evolved. There are now several game modes so the game never gets old. There are also special abilities you can use. My favorite was "spy mode." This allows you do disguise yourself as the other teams color, and trust me they do not notice. Don't forget to bring your Apple Watch or Fitbit, because you will be getting quite the work out. I guess for the price Lasertron is decent, You can choose from either $25 for 1 attraction and $35 for 2 attractions for the non-members or a very affordable memberships ($23/month) without any contract. The cashier was actually pretty nice in telling us to join the no contract monthly member and after 10 days membership can be canceled without a charged even though with sticked with the non-member $35 for 2 attractions. This laser tag is very a bit different from the other laser tag locations I've been to so it took me some time to adapt. The attraction is roughy 6 minutes/game and 4 games per attraction. The teams get pretty large as there is more people that joins and the teams are put random. We have one attraction where the was 20 people per team. The MAIN PURPOSE IS WINNING AS A TEAM (OF COURSE) but how ? BY SHOOTING THE OPPOSITE BASE NOT THE OPPOSITE TEAM MEMBERS. So shooting the base is 150 or 300 points and shooting the opposite team members is only like 40 points. I think because of this it makes it not as fun then most people just focuses in shooting the base. I think overall it's not bad when you are bored it's a affordable option. Wow, this is seriously my new favorite place! I haven't been to Lasertron to actually play Lasertron since I was really young. I went a few years back on Father's Day to play mini golf as my husband and I didn't have any plans with our family, and they told us it was free for everyone for Father's Day! This may not be something that they do every year, though. A couple weeks back I came here for a Yelp event to try out some of their new Lasertron games. They ended up giving us a 30 Days of Attraction membership card good for one free attraction a day for 30 days. The membership card comes with a lot of other benefits too: $2 Off Beer, Wine, Cocktails & Fountain Drinks 50% Off Large Pizzas 50% Off All Arcade Games $2 Off All Menu Items Over $10 $1 Off All Menu Items Under $10 You get one, you can choose from their Silver or Gold package ($20/ month or $25/month) and each come with $15 or $20 of arcade play every month as well. I've tried to come out as much as possible so far for the 30 days. Not only is it really fun, but man is it quite the workout! I had no idea how many calories you could burn playing laser tag! Did I mention beer?! Yes... they have BEER! as well as mixed drinks and wine. Definitely the first time in my life that I've ever worked out and then went straight for a beer at the bar - in the same building! There are several different kinds of Lasertron games to choose from. I find it the easiest to go online to view which games are playing and at what time. It will tell you how many people are currently signed up at that time, how many spots are left, and if it's adult only or mixed. Adults only (16 and older) throughout the building is 9pm and later. This means that if someone younger than 16 is in the building prior to 9pm then they can stay and play the games that start at 9 or 9:30. However, once it hits 10:00pm anyone under 16 needs to be out of the building. Reserve online and pay a deposit that you get back once you show up, or reserve your spot over the phone without a despot the day of. Don't forget about Double Attraction Wednesday's! That means that it's buy one get one free attraction! If you have a membership card for one attraction, you then can play two that day! 9pm and 10pm last Wednesday was the best. The games were really hard (at least for us newbies) but it was really cool to play with some of their veterans. The manager likes changing up the games when it's later on like that, too. Last, but not least... they also have a Cyber Sport game inside, which is almost like playing lacrosse from inside a really fast bumper car. Had my daughters 10 birthday party there today and it was absolutely amazing considering these kids have been locked up for over a year. It was great to watch them run around and scream and yell and just have a great time with not only friends but strangers in the arena. Everybody acted as teammates including people from the other parties, as the teams were randomly shuffled. We got pretty lucky that our birthday party was split almost 50/50 which ended up being great as there was a friendly rivalry of my daughters cheer teammates and her class roommates who are meeting for the very first time and they were able to work as a team mixed in together. Our party manager was absolutely phenomenal and attentive considering the fact that I showed up an hour early to start setting up and decorating for my daughters party. I didn't really see my server more than once as we cut our own cake and served our own cake but I do know that the pizza was all set and ready when we came out of laser tag. She did take a group photo of the kids out by the mini golf waterfall and we got a lovely print out of one, and an email of all of the pictures that she took. All in all every single staff member we came across was extremely friendly and accommodating which I felt a big difference from other places we have hosted a birthday party indoors at a facility. There are multiple parties going on at a time so it could be an easy environment to get frustrated with but these staff members genuinely seem like they enjoy the kids and love their jobs. Pew, Pew, Pew! Nice tag! Pew, Pew! Oh yeah...I still smile thinking about my laser tag experience. On my birthday, I decided to relive being a 12 year old kid by playing a game of lasertag. I've heard Lasertron being mentioned as a great place to go many times and have read the Yelp reviews here, but it always seemed like such a daunting task to drive out to Amherst, reserve a game and organize the whole thing. Well, it wasn't. It was EASY and I had a blast playing a game of laser tag and mini-golf! I wish I jumped on this sooner, because I can see myself being back here very often. On a Friday night, laser tag and endless mini golf cost us $20/person. We came in around 7:30p and the earliest laser tag game available was around 8:45, but we opted for an 11:30 game so that we could hit up dinner at Jasmine's nearby (sure, they have wings and bar food, but it was my birthday so I wanted something a bit more substantial). The mini-golf was fun...the three different 9-hole courses available have some variety, but it's nothing that special, but laser tag is where this place REALLY THRIVES. Their battlefield is TWO STORIES and features different game modes and is equipped with excellent technology that makes the experience incredibly fun. They do have a disappointing, yet understandable safety rule of "NO RUNNING," but past 11p when the little kids are gone, it's not always 100% enforced. "Speed walking," after all...is not running, even though I have long feet and take large steps! The staff is wonderful, professional and gets you EXCITED to play. The game is over a half hour long and if you do it right, you're sweating by the time you're done...so you really don't even know if you'd have energy for one more. The amount of time you get to play is just right. If you've lived in Buffalo, and have never experienced this...go, go go now. No matter what your age is. It's a blast. read more

Came here with a bunch of other graduate students in my program to celebrate the last day of classes. We played 4 rounds of laser tag and 3 rounds of cyber sport. Laser tag was a really fun time for everyone. We were sweating and out of breath after 4 rounds but it was some great cardio. Cyber sport was difficult, and the cars are kind of difficult to operate, not sure if I would do it again. The small arcade isn't too bad, it can keep you entertained for a bit. Food is meh. I would say to get food somewhere else nearby before you come. It's decent food and not terribly priced, but you could spend the same amount of money at a place with better food. read more

Lasertag: So fun. Granted I enjoy it because I know some of the inside tips and tricks like where to stand to shoot the other team's base without having to stand directly in their zone. Come on though, who doesn't like running around like kids, shooting each other (for fun), and laughing? It's awesome and I love it. The different modes make it even more fun. Getting the high score for the game allows you to gloat. Love it. Cyber Sport: I don't know why but every time I partake in the cyber sport I nearly pee my pants from laughing so hard. I don't think this is their most popular activity so if you come with a group of friends, chances are you and your friends will be the only people in this arena - making for even more fun. Basically you ride around on little motorized scooters and try to scoop a ball into a basket/box hanging on the wall. Think lacrosse on a scooter... kind of. Go-Karts: Man these things can go FAST. It's fun to try to compete to be the fastest racer but there are some people who spin out on the track, causing everyone else to automatically slow down. That's not cool but I'm sure it's a preventative measure. Nice track, just wish the races went longer than 2 minutes or so. Haven't had the opportunity to play mini-golf at Lasertron yet but I'm sure I will someday. They also give you $3 of arcade credit which only amounts to about 3 games. I think they randomize the teams because 5 of us were on one team and 3 on the other. You go into a room where they explain everything, but they didn't explain the modes which I thought was weird. Wow, what a workout! Who needs L.A. Fitness?! (jk, I'm a fattie, i need both.) First off, get the monthly pass membership for $2 on top of the regular game price. You get a daily attraction of either laser tag or their bumper car game thing ( laser tag is 4 games of 6 min- roughly 45 min total), $5 game credit, $2 off drinks, and 50% off large pizzas/other member priced finger foods (not the best pizza ever, but its really filling and you'll basically scarf it down after your laser tag game because you are literally half dead). The gaming area is like a mini DnB, def keeps you occupied while you are waiting for you laser tag game. Not really sure why (not complaining though), but they really stress no tipping staff at the bar and food counters. The laser tag. I thought it was great (even though I was basically having a heart attack trying to keep up with everyone lol)! they give a little breakdown of the rules before you start. I love Lasertron. They have changed the arena with a new configuration and done some updating. New games too. I had a 30 day pass which is the best value around....you get a great workout (really! you get sweaty, I lost 5 pounds without even trying) and it's so much fun. I played 23 games on my 30 day pass....you can play once a day for the 30 days. I tried some different games like Domination, Headquarters and King of the Hill. I still enjoy the team base (classic) game the best but the variations are fun and challenging in unique ways. Team Base: two teams try to get points by shooting the opposing teams bases, highest points win. Domination: two opposing teams try to take hold of sectors by standing under the sector. Get points for every second your team controls the sector. Headquarters: two teams have 5 headquarters to defend (and 5 to try to conquer). Shoot at opposing teams headquarters until they "explode". Team with the most headquarters left wins. King of the Hill: Try to secure each hill (they move every 45 seconds) for your team by standing under the hill. Get points for every second your team holds the hill. There are a few more games that are offered sporatically and tech experimental games on Wednesday nights. There's so much to do in addition to Lasertag. Cyber sport is an alternative as well.... bumper cars with scoop balls. Get points by tossing balls into opposing teams goal. In the summer outdoor Big Wheels on a track and mini golf are available. The arcade has a good variety of games. TV's in the lounge area, a bar and food items for sale like pizza and wings. The staff is super friendly, helpful and they know their stuff. Lasertron is not just for kids' birthday parties....although it is great for that too....it's a date night place, a fun senior activity, a great team building company event....any age, any event, any group can enjoy the Lasertron experience. read more

The legal place to shoot people and get away with it! Have been coming to Lasertron ever since I was a young child back when their t shirts said it's better in the dark. Not overly sure what they meant by it but I believe they were referring to the fun filled play of Lasertron ! Since those days the place has gone through great updates. And the technology of the packs and guns are awesome. New modes such as spy mode and deactivator really come in handy when waging laser war on the green team. Not only is there laser tag but they also have an arcade, a go cart track outside, and my favorite cyber sport! We love coming here and I'm glad that they are trying to advertise to more of an adult crowd. The bar in the back, though tiny, is our favorite place to hang out with my small group of friends that meet up once in a while to play at Lasertron. I've never done the go-carts or mini golf there but the lasertron and the cyber sport are so much fun! I would recommend a group of 6 or 8 for the cyber sport as it is definitely more fun that way! The prices change frequently. Sometimes there are some really good deals like half -off days. The lasertron games change frequently also, they even get altered depending on how many people are registered to play. I've been going to Lasertron since 2007! This review is base on the last time I went there which is on Monday, 4/15 evening. I went with a group of friends, there was 5 of us total... the place was empty and then a couple walked in. We decided on two attractions (2 activities): lasertag & cyber sport. The couple joined us for lasertag. 2 attractions was $20 each person, overall we spent $100 on the 2 attractions and then $10 in arcade games total. Since there was only total of 7 of us in the lasertag room.. they decided it would be a free for all; meaning everyone is shooting each other rather than play on teams. So no shooting bases only each other. It was fun and wild. Since there were a few of us.. the first 5 minutes everyone hid behind or crouch low behind something... it took us the first 5 minutes to realize that no one is walking by for us to shoot. So that meant, all 7 of us have to keep moving to find targets to shoot. The night was ridiculous because the couple doesn't know us, so the girlfriend just follow the boyfriend and kept shooting him which made the boyfriend yell loudly "get away from me.. stop following me.. stop.. get away... GET AWAY!!!!"... so that made everyone else (all 5 of us) to follow his voice and then we all proceed to shoot both of them. Each time we hear someone talking or yelling loudly... we would rush there from behind, below or above and shoot them from a safe distance where we can easily hide after shooting. I had so much fun tracking down targets to shoot! After lasertag (each attraction is about 30minute long), we were all sweaty and hot but went to cyber sport. We played on teams... so we decided 3 of us (which is my team) would be the yellow team and the other 2 friends will be the blue team. 3 rounds show the results that the Blue team won. Before lasertag we played in the arcade area and then played for the last 30minute before closing (which was right after cyber sport). I'm glad we came on a weekday because it's not as crowded as the weekend where they may ask for reservations/deposit for large parties. Next time we will try go kart. I never try go kart in all the times I go there.. always played lasertag. This is my second time playing cyber sport. Lasertron now added a new attraction, mini golf. I just threw a surprise party for my girlfriend's birthday. She has ADHD, so Lasertron is the perfect place for her to get her energy out. It was relatively affordable, considering all 12 people paid their own way. It was $23 for each person for two attractions. We did 2 games of Lasertron. We were able to also get unlimited pop because I brought in the confirmation email. The only thing my girlfriend didn't like was that there were other people in the game, but I was told of this when I booked online because our party was small. All of the guests had a blast. It was nice because we went on a Friday night and it was totally dead. We had almost the whole place to ourselves. The game itself was fun. It's a huge laser tag course with many special modes and hiding spots. Good for adults after a few drinks and also tweens. The arcade is also very nice and they boast mini golf, go carts, and cyber sport (lacrosse in little bumper cars). As far as the team building event, the activities were a lot of fun! Our group enjoyed a few rounds of laser tag, lunch and then cyber sport. Aside from the formal activities, the staff attempted to engage us with an old school round of two truths, one lie. This started out as a great activity for the crew but then was very short lived. The lunch (pizza buffet) was removed from the tables before all the fun was over for us, which threw everyone off as well. Not a terrible time but definitely ways it could be improved.
