Just finished a seasonal bowling league here- great atmosphere, cheap drinks and games (price does range by day and time though), and genuinely really delicious food. I tried a chicken parm sub, chicken quesadilla, and funnel cake fries over the course of the league's run- all were SUPER good, especially for a bowling alley. Oh, and if you went on the right night they also were projecting the Sabres playoff games over a few of the lanes which was a really nice touch while we were playing. My son and I are regulars here, especially in the summer with the Kids Bowl Free program. He does leagues here and I might do one as well. The staff is ALWAYS so nice, friendly and engaging(especially once they see you around a bunch). The food has been pretty good the few times I've had it. I really love how chill the vibe is here everytime I go. Sure some of the bowlers are being very serious and shooting for a high score. Kids can also be kids as well! These lanes are kept up well and are always running with zero issues. The staff is friendly and the customer service is great. The food is exceptional compared to other bowling alleys. They are open from noon to 11pm most nights. I recommend this place to anyone that loves bowling. read more

Worked at a fund raiser here today. Great staff, plenty of bowling balls and clean restroom. Bar had a good atmosphere and plenty of drink options. They have these pitchers called "polar pitchers" where there's a frozen element in there so you don't have to water it down with ice! Pizza was okay, done well but I wasn't a fan of the sauce. I prefer more on the sweet side. But the pepperonis were crunchy and the cheese was super melty. Also serve other foods fries, pretzels, popcorn. Some cheap candy at the front desk. We went to a birthday party here and had a fabulous time! Their birthday party package is ridiculously reasonably-priced, AND you get a cute, brightly-decorated private room! (though, I did overhear that the smaller of the rooms was more decorated in a kids' birthday theme, but the larger of the rooms was not decorated at all-- so if you're booking a party, be sure to clarify which room you're getting!) The host only needed to bring a few party-themed tablecloths, otherwise the room was bright and festive with pre-hung decorations. It was great that the party-giver only has to pay for the kids who are bowling, which is a huge benefit for not having to pay for all the extra parents who are just standing around to watch (unlike some ridiculous places). They have the option of buying extra pizzas for additional adult guests. The bowling facility is bright, clean, and well-kept. The bathroom was bright and shiny and super clean. Bowling shoes were ridiculously cute and looked brand new. For kids, the lanes have little raised up bars for bumpers instead of the old-school kind that blow up. The little kids can also use a plastic dinosaur ramp to help them roll the ball down the lane with enough momentum. The scoring screens were bright and birthday-themed which I thought was a super cute touch! We had such a great time that we decided to buy the family pack option through KidsBowlFree and will be back many times this summer! read more

Classic Lanes lives up to its name, Classic Wood Lanes! Updated scoring, lots of lanes (bumpers + ramps available) and reasonable open bowling prices. The food is your usual alley fare, pizza, nachos, and burgers, of course, pop and beer (the nacho cheese is the bomb). A very well kept pin house, friendly staff, and an in-house pro shop. I've bowled this house many times over the years as Classic Lanes and as the former Mill-Sher Lanes and it's only gotten better with time. We are currently on an adult/child league and enjoying the fun. Classic hosts a lot of the local high school teams and even a few college teams, we were a few lanes over from the latter this week and saw a regular ladies league that shares our night, but still had open lanes to spare (pun intended). League info, upcoming tournament info, and birthday fliers are easy to come by at the counter. Wow! What a hidden gem of a bowling alley! I never even knew this place existed until last week. As a belated Christmas gift experience via a roommate we attended the annual Lebowski festival which included bowling at this here establishment. I was impressed, especially after expecting something a long the lines of Voelkers. It's clean, but old school and updated all at the same time. How is that possible? The lanes are fantastic, the shoes I had were brand new. I enjoyed the black lights and music. I didn't get a chance to try the food, but it smelled delicious! One thing I'd like to point out: 25 cent games on Thursday nights with a $5 cover fee and 3.75 pitchers of beer? Yes please! I will be coming back to roll! read more

Classic Lanes is usually my go to for bowling, simply because their leagues on the weekend seem to end earlier than most. I have never once found it busy on Friday evening after the leagues are done, which makes it a lot more enjoyable for a casual bowl. The screens and monitors are updated, and the shoes are in excellent shape -- some even look brand new. They have a wide array of bowling ball sizes, so you can pretty much always find the hand-size and weight you're looking for. The employees are friendly and helpful. We went to Classic Lanes last week Thursday. They have only been open since the beginning of September and we were excited to get back to bowling. When we first arrived the guy was nice gave us our lane and we went to our lane and started to Bowl. We were not by anyone at first and that was fine by us, as we started to bowl our first game a couple came in and the front desk guy put them right on top of us. We didn't want to be right on top of someone and if the couple decided to it sit on the left side they would be right next to us with no social distancing so we asked the front desk guy to kindly move us and he refused. We couldn't believe after all this time that you haven't been open instead of making the customer happy and move us to one of the other 20 lanes that were open you say no. Well we walked up to the desk asked for our money back and left. With everything going on and suffering business for 5+ months you would think he would have been more accommodating. We will not be returning to Classic Lanes any time soon. read more

After driving to two area bowling alleys and being denied entry (one had leagues, so no open bowling, and the other had a 30 minute wait for a lane) my family of four and our friends, a family of three, wound up here. We figured that the third time would be the charm. We were right. Not only were there lanes open, we practically had the place to ourselves. Not bad for a Sunday evening. We were greeted politely and the game-ordering and shoe-renting part was easy peasy. For anyone with little kids: they have children's size 6 and up in shoes, and they are so adorable. They look just like the adult bowling shoes, except they're tiny and have velcro. They're seriously so cute. Anyway, the lanes are definitely maintained well. The wood was smooth and the wax was fresh (as our friend found out when she went to wrangle her toddler off the lane- they both went down swiftly!) Bumpers were put in place for the kids lane and a few 6lb balls were already stocked on the return for them. This alley also has dinosaur-shaped ramps for the littles to push their balls down. Our kiddos loved the idea. The staff is friendly, and ready to help when needed, like when a few of our bowling balls got jammed up by the pins, a nice man went to the machines to reset the lane and sent them all back. To be honest, I wish I could give them 4.5 stars because the only reason I won't give them a 5 is because the place just needs a little modernizing, but I do understand that there is not a lot of profit to be had for bowling alleys because they keep their costs low while they have moderate to high overhead (staffing, maintenance, machines, etc.) So I understand that most of the alleys in the area are in the same boat- built in the 60s or 70s and still have the same wood paneling on the walls and the same bar and the same lockers and the same tiles in the bathroom. They all need to be spruced up, and this location isn't an exception. However, everything here was very clean. The seats, though old, are clean, the lanes are clean, the bathrooms are clean. It shows that they are keeping up on the maintenance despite not being able to remodel. All-in-all, we had a great time. The kids (three under the age of five) did very well, even though they were quite distracted by all the quarter vending machines and lighted games behind them. We had a great experience and will definitely return, even though there are two other bowling alleys closer to us, we felt right at home here and can't wait to come back again. read more

Great place to go to play a few games and relax. Staff is friendly and the place is very clean. It's pretty ridiculous that they don't take card at the concessions or the bar, the owner should just suck it up and pay the transaction fees. We would spend a lot more money there if they did. The only other thing is the space itself is clean but the bar and concessions do not seem well kept and the employees need to go over proper etiquette for handling food and glassware. For example, don't serve the beer glasses rim down on the sticky bar, and wash your hands before handling someone's food when you were just eating a bag of chips in front of the customers. Also, nearly every time we get beer there is something floating in my glass, might be time to actually clean the tap lines and spouts. Or your dish machine needs some help.
