This place is for having a good time and throwing strikes with friends. Stayed pretty late. Had a blast despite the flavored tobacco smells and the babies at the bar at 11:30 p.m. This place is pretty rad. 5 out of five, would return. Great music. read more

A few weeks ago, we had a birthday party for my husband here. He randomly wanted a bowling party, and neither of us have been for a long time. We ended up having a fantastic time, and I was really happy with how the party went. The man who booked it for us, I think the owner, was really nice and helpful and in the booking process. I was extra happy when, after I picked a package and gave him a number of people, he allowed me to only pay for the food of the people not bowling despite the package being a set price for food, bowling, and shoes. I expected to pay a flat rate for all, despite my parents not wanting to bowl, so I thought it was kind that he didn't have me pay for them for bowling. The party went off without a hitch! Everyone got shoes and they put us in a couple lanes on the side of the alley so it was more private. They also dimmed the lights so we got to have midnight bowling. Our food package included pizza, wings, salad, and pop. I also added on some nachos and fries, and I was able to have a tab at the bar for pitchers of beer. Speaking of the beer, they had a wide selection of them available for pitchers, including many local and some hard cider! The food was set up right behind the lanes for us so we didn't even need to leave them to eat. I wouldn't expect a bowling alley to have really good food, but we all loved it and my family, often picky about wings, were raving about them. Overall, the experience was lots of fun, prices very reasonable, and friendly and helpful staff. Best part - the 90s playlist they had playing throughout, giving us the most fun nostalgia boost!! If you are looking to have a great time for a party, I recommend!! read more

Lots to par take in here, you can get a beer, wine or cocktail at the bar, get your bowling shoes on and go bowling or maybe just sit down and order some food.I chose the last option and with speedy service and a smile I got a white pizza and sweet potato fries. The pizza was hot and very tasty and the sweet potato fries were amazing and so huge and delicious. They have their own lot for parking too. read more

Stopped here with a friend mid-September for dinner. On this occasion I decided to go with medium wings and fries. I wanted to try the normal Buffalo flavor, as opposed to the other amazing flavors I've been told they have and are delicious. The medium wings were crispy and amazing. These wings are in my top 10. The fries were also good. The service was good as well. Downside, they didn't have the popcorn machine going. The culinary innovation that Manor Lanes has is amazing, and in a bowling alley, it is even more impressive. Check this place out for food. Get the take out, support them. You won't regret it. read more

Fun family evening - not a straight +/- night. For entertaining kids: it was a ton of fun. All players make happy/sad/mad faces at the start. After each bowl, a cartoon comes up on the screen with players' faces inserted. The kids loved each one! --can raise/lower bumper guards throughout the game- when you enter names, you can choose who gets bumper guards and who doesn't. For customer service: owner is super engaged in ensuring everyone has a great experience. Customer service when they are not busy is fantastic. When we first got there, there was us and one other family. A staff member helped my kids pick out balls, and another helped us with this rolly device for the kids to enhance their faux-bowling experience. Food was brought out promptly. After a birthday party arrived, we were completely forgotten. Server did not check in once. When I wanted to order food to take home, I had to ask three people to take my order before I gave up - the owner saw me rally eyes and wave my hands in the air. He asked what was up and sent the server to the table to take my order. Food: Pizza was... fine? It had cheese and red colored sauce. No seasoning. No salt, no Italian seasoning. The kids LOVED it. Price: I don't know...? I haven't been bowling in ages. Felt expensive, at about $100 for food and bowling for two hours. But maybe that's the going rate for bowling? Overall, the kids had a super fun time, and that was the value of the experience. I wish service was more consistent when people showed up, but overall still a fun evening for the kids, which made it a success. read more

This is without question one of the best bowling alleys I've ever been to. I joined a weekly bowling league this past fall (relax I'm an amateur!) and I was immediately impressed. First off, the space is quite large with MANY lanes. There is adequate parking too right outside. The people who run the bowling alley are all very kind and welcoming - they even have a sense of humor. The place is always clean, including the bar area, and they have good music and adequate lighting. I also like the computers at each lane - the software allows you to take selfies and put them up on the score board next to your name haha! Of note - their food (typical bar food) is actually pretty solid. They also have a decent drink selection at the bar (wine and even some whiskeys). Grab some friends and go to Manor Lanes for a bowling night! read more

I absolutely love it here! I play in a weekly volleyball league here on Friday nights. We come inside occasionally to cool off, use the bathroom etc. they have midnight type bowling on the weekends which I have seen draw a size able crowd. It's friendly and cute, and I would definitely bowl here. The star of the show for me is our waitress on Fridays, Victoria. She is amazing! Friendly, personable, fast and efficient. She goes above and beyond for her customers. I sprained my thumb one week and she fashioned me a bag of ice without asking and has asked me how I'm feeling every single week since. She's the best!!! read more

I love this bowling alley. It's not as updated as some of the newer ones but I just really like the atmosphere. All the employees are friendly, they have plenty of bowling balls to choose from and we were able to get a lane really quickly. They also have awesome specials that I plan on coming back to take advantage of, like $1 bowling nights! read more

Visiting my son at UB and decided to go bowling. We had a great time. Nice place, clean, updated. Will be back on our next visit.

Love this bowling alley! Have come twice in the past few months - and they have so many upgrades recently! New lanes and technology for the TVs, waiter for moonlight bowling. Delish homemade pizza logs. $17 for 10-2 for bowling and a great time! Clean and friendly staff too read more

I have been coming to Manor Lanes since I was just a kid, although recently we've been coming a lot more frequently. With weekly bowling, volleyball leagues, and a fully stocked bar they really have a lot to offer. We just wrapped up a six week bowling league and I besides the interior maybe needing a little updating (the walls and ceiling look like they were last updated in before I was born) I can't think of a single complaint. The provided shoes and balls were all in good shape and they have a ton of well maintained lanes. I'm looking forward to coming back in the spring for volleyball. read more

About $4 per game. The bowling lane was decent. However, the computer kept skipping the player's turn, for some reason. There is also a nice drinking bar and snack bar. Great for families and friends. I was not a fan of their food though... my boyfriend ordered their specialty dish-- fried buffalo chicken rolls with ranch sauce. They were too salty and greasy... He ended up getting an allergic reaction to it (he's allergic to nuts). Perhaps they used peanut oil to fry the rolls? I discovered this place on the Groupon website. I ended up paying $16 for 2 games and shoe rentals! However, you MUST make a reservation within 24 hours of purchasing the Groupon. read more

My kids loved this place! My 9 year old daughter had been begging to go here after she had gone on a field trip to Manor Lanes with her summer camp. She loves the games that are available to play, such as bowling to create characters or destroy castles rather than bowling for a score. We were able to complete all the games in the allotted time. My 5 year old loves it also! read more

I haven't been bowling in years, but I had a great experience at Manor Lanes. COVID restrictions in place and followed. Everything was cleaned and santized after use and I felt pretty safe. Electronic scoring with some cool "features" if you are into that kind of thing- personally, I learned to keep score with paper & pencil so I don't need all the bells & whistles, but to each their own. I didn't try the bar food, but will in the future. There was a thermal temperture scanner upon entering the building that also checked to ensure you were wearing a mask--first time I've seen anything like that. No problems throughout the evening and had a great "check out" experience with friendly service & a print out of the scoresheet. Can't wait to go back. read more

If you're looking for a place to bowl, then the Manor in which you go about finding an alley is important. When calling places up and asking questions, mind your Manors. I bowled at this Manor Lanes once when I lived up in Amherst, as well as the other location (which was by my house) 3 or 4 times, and always thought it was a lovely place to bowl with nice employees and excellent, clean, fun and safe facilities. They don't really enforce the rules (which for me was helpful) and it's a very relaxed environment with a nice bar. I was reminded of this place just a few weeks ago when we went to a Yelp party here, which was also wonderful. But this review is for my previous experiences at this alley which were stellar. I'd say it's ahead of my 2nd fave place to bowl in WNY (although what I do, you can't really describe as bowling), which is Transit Lanes. read more

First time bowling at this location, and it actually surprised me how much nicer it was inside then I thought it be. We went on a Saturday afternoon for a family bowling night, they had good music playing out of the speakers and the lanes were nice. A decent amount of bowling balls to choose from, and a full bar and restaurant. We got their white pizza and waffle fries, and it was amazing! Best white pizza I had I'd say. We had such a great time, service was quick, and overall a great family bonding event! read more

Definitely will be our preferred bowling alley moving forward! On a whim we decided to go bowling this evening and chose Manor Lanes due to the excellent reviews found here. We definitely agree with the positive sentiments! As bowling alleys go, Manor Lanes is probably the nicest I've been to. The modern score keeping system has fun mini games/themes you can play with, and you're treated to bowling trivia and statistics of your performance throughout. The facilities themselves are nice and clean. Pricing is offered either by game (what we did - $4.25/game/person) or hourly. They also offer midnight bowling from 10p to 2a on Fridays and Saturdays, with a fixed price for all you can bowl for the full four hours, including the price of shoe rental. Will definitely be taking advantage of that deal in the future! We ordered Cajun fries, their chicken wing rolls, and a chocolate shake while we were there. All were satisfying bar food, and we'll definitely explore more of their expansive menu in the future. Would recommend Manor Lanes! read more

Manor lanes is on its way to being the top place for food and fun! Right when you approach the building they have COVID-19 precautions in place and vaccinated guests do not have to wear masks! The eating area was clean and as soon as you walk in there is a temperature checker to make sure you and others are safe to bowl, eat and drink. My personal favorite was the Meatball Sub sandwich. The meatballs were made from scratch. You can see the cubed pepper and onion pieces inside the meat and you can tell by the slight imperfections of the meatball that they were shaped by hand. The red sauce was made from scratch and oh how delicious it was! It was a bit on the sweeter side so if you like sweet red sauces this is for you! The bread was chewy and nicely toasted. The mozzarella on top *chefs kiss* pure bliss. read more

Price would be a 5 if you go tuesday wednesday or thursday night after 10pm $1 shoes, $1 games, $1 drafts, Honestly it looks like the place was built in the 80s and they haven't updated since. Shoes are some of the oldest beat up bowling shoes I have seen. It is weird how they direct you through the bar when you come in. Over all it feels clean, the bowling lanes work great, sound system is great and they play updated good music, lots of fun! read more

Best lanes and atmosphere. $3 games are an absolute steal. You won't be disappointed. From respectively casual to refreshingly competitive. Absolutely the best bowling alley in upstate New York. Lanes are vintage/classic wood that are gorgeous. Pattern is usually a friendly 41 foot shot that most will score well on. Definitely complex enough of a pattern that skilled bowlers will find extremely enjoyable. Social/top 40 music gently fills the space. Loud enough your date or friends will tap their feet to, but quiet enough to completely focus. Excellent sound management. Never had an issue with the racks, scoring, ball damage, or sticking on the approach. Every lane is well maintained. Never had any machine oil scuffs that plague most bowling centers. Staff is polite, professional, and welcoming. 5 stars. read more

First time visiting, on a Friday and had a good experience. Service was great and so was the food/beer.

Something fun to do during the too cold to be outside winter months. I suggest gathering some friends and taking advantage of their Groupon offer (if it's still available). Bowling is fun. Pizza was actually really good. Don't be surprised if you feel the burn a few days later, unless of course you are an avid bowler and use those typically not so used muscles frequently. This is a super great place to go bowling! I'm totally hooked on it lately so I've been to a few area places in WNY recently and I liked this one the best so far! Super modern look and clean lanes. They are doing construction now so I would call ahead to make sure that you'll have a lane. Very friendly staff and the food looked really good too! I LOVED that they have lighter balls available with adult sized holes bc I have wrist issues and can't do a "normal" adult ball. I'll be back for sure!! read more

I've been here a couple of times to watch my friends play for bowling league and each time it's been a good experience. There are tons of lanes, Thursday night leagues play from 6:30 to around 10. There is always a different beer on special and often times it's Mich Ultra in the bottle for $2. Can't beat that. I've never had the food but I hear it's decent. They have dart boards, bartenders and cocktail waitresses have always been nice. Its in such a random location but it does the job. read more

Easily the nicest bowling alley in a 50 mile radius. Great service, great food. Clean and well kept.

Came in on a Saturday night expecting to pay $21 for 4 people + cost of shoes to find out it was $10 all you can bowl ( includes shoe rentals)! The added plus was that a pitcher of bud light was only $7. Downside is that their loaner bowling balls have odd weights and the finger holes have weird sizes / spacing. Had a blast that night, definitely will return. Note, they're offering a free game if you check in on yelp. read more

I am the grumpiest bowler ever, I am 25 and have NEVER had a good experience. I came here once before for a happy hour and I had tons of fun! It was fun to hang out by the bar and play darts. But, recently I came back to bowl on a little afternoon date with my husband and neighbors. And WOW, this place turned me from grumpy to obsessed. I just had a lot of fun! It was a light hearted atmosphere and I loved the animations on the screens and the music! The customer service was amazing. The food is also surprisingly really good! I actually want to learn how to legit bowl and get better now! I can't wait to go back :) Thank you for making an impossible situation really enjoyable for me. read more
