I ordered a package from chewy, and we love them, so I'm very sad they have partnered with this company.
We get food from chewy every two weeks, like clockwork. They have now partnered with laser ship and our order just came today (five days late) and the guy threw it out the window into the yard.
Now, we spoke with chewy last night because we had to go to the store to pick up dog food, and they were great. They refunded our money, sent us a free bag, and sent us a free bag of food we would like to try.
Laser ship, however, doesn't seem to find it unacceptable to throw a box of 60 lbs of dog food into someone's yard five days later than it should have been here. As I walked outside, to the middle of my yard, he said he was afraid of the dogs ( I have a Gsp puppy and a black lab that is retired search and rescue, but both were not around him or his vehicle ) but he watched me pick up this box, knowing it's a big chunk of weight, but also not knowing what was inside of it. There could have been something fragile in there and it was five days late, and although I can lift like twice that weight plus some, not everyone can do that( it's a 60 lb bag of dog food). And I had to leave my rambunctious toddler alone in the house to go get it.
I then called customer service, but while searching for the number I was directed to a website that I've pictured below.
Do you have such a high dissatisfaction rate with your company you have that associated with your customer service team? Plus, if your customer has a complaint, even if they are pissed, most people won't act that way, they will just express they are upset and like to have it remedied for the future. Most customers are irritated, but they're usually not swearing at you. I swear like a sailor and find that extremely inappropriate.
After waiting on hold for ten minutes, which I understand can not always be controlled with high call volumes, but whomever answered the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional.
I waited on hold for ten min, she didn't tell me her name, just "hello?" As though she was annoyed. I live in the middle of nowhere,so I verify "can you hear me alright?" And she's just like "yeah...?" (Again, super aggravated) And I told her what happened, she only said "what's the tracking number?"( her tone doesn't change the entire call)
And I said I could look for it, but I guess it goes to my husband's email because I don't have it, and he's at work, so he will send it to me when he finds it, but I've got nothing until then. (So silence for the whole three minutes I'm trying to find it except for me saying "sorry, I'm still looking" to which there was no response. ) So I asked if there was anything else we could use and she said "no. ....ma'am."
(Again silence for like 15 seconds)
So I said "okay, thank you.Have a good one" And she just said "bye" and hung up.
Overall, a horrible experience. I hope chewy stops their partnership with them. read more
