I had the pleasure of talking to Dulce on the phone, and her patience, communication, and friendliness is what made me go through with the procedure. Calling a place like LaserAway was intimidating for someone like me, but I was made comfortable very quickly during the phone call. My first experience with laser hair removal was way better than I expected! The ladies at the front desk were lovely and made me feel welcome. My nurse Kyley was amazing, she was very sweet, and she made me feel comfortable and at ease during my first session. The service was almost painless! The legs and underarms I didn't feel a thing. What a joke this place is! *** Should've read that this place has 122 not recommended reviews before going ** Had a groupon for an IPL and they were going to do the consultation before the procedure. I've had IPL done a handful of times before. Got there right at my appt and the lady at the front took my groupon and redeemed it. Right from the get go, she started talking about me getting a package. This is what I dreaded. Sales pressure. I told her I only wanted to get this one treatment. A few minutes later, Nicole walked out and asked me general questions and if I've had it done before. We are still in the lobby and I'm sitting on the couch with other customers waiting. She proceeds to look at my face for 30 seconds and then tells me I'm not a candidate for IPL. She said they were really conservative with choosing candidates. She said my skin is too dark and people with dark hair and eyes usually don't meet the requirement BUT I could do a facial or get a package but either would require me to pay the difference. What!?!?! I was still confused with the reason because I have dark hair and eyes. I told her I had makeup on so she looked at my hands. I was wearing a dress and you couldn't miss my pale legs. She said that she would have to go through approval from her regional manager so I said go ahead. While STILL sitting out in the lobby, Nicole proceeded with taking photos of my face and texted it to someone and then called her to talk about me. WHILE STILL IN THE LOBBY. What happened to patient privacy?!?!? Which health board do I make a complaint too? The lady at the desk was nice and said I would have to ask for a refund through groupon but would notate my account. She said I could keep the credit on my Acct and use it for something else - No thank you! While talking with the lady, Nicole had gotten her purse and walked out. Very disappointed with LaserAway. Spent over $4000 for a laser hair removal package and was told I would see remarkable results. I see zero results after 8 sessions. 6 out of 8 of those sessions were with different nurses each time, some of which were speeding through the appointment and missing areas. I moved to Arizona recently and continued my laser treatment at this location however, I did not have a good experience. The front desk receptionists were extremely pushy when adding on new packages and were not mindful or attentive of new customers coming in and needing to check in or schedule an appointment on their way out. The technician who assisted with my appointment did not clean the treatment areas prior to being lasered, nor did she provide the aloe or ointment that are typically given afterwards. This was my fourth or fifth appointment with laser away, and based off of my prior appointment, I could tell that she was not thorough when she treated the areas. Whenever I left the appointment, I wasn't able to schedule a new appointment because both of the receptionists at the front desk were trying to push packages on other girls instead of so eventually after waiting behind them for about 10 minutes, I left. read more

I just had my second laser hair treatment with Christina at LA at the Phoenix location on 44th and she was awesome. This is my third visit to the facility as I'm also getting a large back tattoo removed as well. The nurses on staff are amazingly empathetic with fantastic bedside manner. They are sensitive to any level of pain I may be experiencing and have talked me through the entire process with what I can expect during my session and future sessions. Christina was no exception and provided me excellent service. She is very knowledgeable of the lasers and the treatment process, and she gave me great information on my skin type and what I can expect from this service treatment. Here to update my review: some big timer called Me to rectify it all...I forgot her name which is a shame because we were playing phone tag but nevertheless she insured we got in contact and she was extremely helpful, nice, and genuinely seemed to care about my complaints/concerns. It's been a 180 with my laser hair treatment since. She even gave me the suggestion of trying to schedule around my preferred laser hair tech since they all rotate. I've been nothing but satisfied since this review and scheduling around the tech I'm loving now ( forgot her name sorry) im always more concerned about my actual service more than customer service but I will say Front desk could still use some work again excluding Hayley she's always pleasant to work with. Typically not a Yelper but I feel robbed. Two stars for the great RNs and front desk girls. They are the only reason why this post received any stars. I spent THOUSANDS of dollars here the last year. I completed my upper lip, Brazilian, under arms, legs, and another small area of laser hair removal. I was told initially I would see 80% hair loss. I was understanding and okay with that. I was not seeing results ta at all between sessions but I had hope that maybe the next one will be the one where I see the results. I am absolutely bummed. I don't even think 20% of my hair is gone. If only 0 stars was possible. Went here w 6 sessions purchased each time being pressured to spend thousands more. When I said I wasn't seeing results and wanted to see results before investing more money the laser tech nearly burned me with the machine it felt. Mad I wasn't going to purchase more, spent less than 5 mins w the procedure. Mind you I've had laser before so I knew what to expect. Over all I did 4 sessions each time staff being ruder and ruder when I wouldn't purchase more because I was not seeing results not even in the slightest of results, literally no results. Previous laser sessions at other company you could tell it was working, it felt like small rubber bands snapping, here felt like cool air nothing happening with the exception the one time the tech turned the level up extremely high and now that was extremely painful and uncalled for. The technicians were nice, but the front desk staff were so pushy with their high pressure sales, no matter what i said, I couldn't get them off my back! They were almost rude about it! Do Not Waste Your Money!! I initially went for laser hair removal bought $2500 worth of sessions which would of got me about 9 to 10 sessions. Turns out, laser hair wouldn't work on my hair color so I was pushed into a sale. They offered to switch me to "tattoo removal" I have had a total of 10 sessions to remove my tattoo and it's still far from gone. I'm literally so overwhelmed. I've been told by so many other professional laser salons who do tattoo removal that they find it odd my tattoo is still in tact. They state it's because they are using a hair removal laser which takes a lot longer and more sessions to remove a tattoo. Which makes a lot of sense now. It's there is only 1 machine in the room. I've been ripped off and I will never go back to this place. They lie to push sales on to you. I've gotten Botox here as well. Units are way overpriced and you can find better elsewhere. I literally paid 180 for 12 units. When I can find salons/offices for 9$ to 10$ a unit. Nurses are nice. This place is played out and the only thing you get out of this place is "I went to laser away" the hype. Which honestly is played out. DO NOT GO HERE FOR TATTOO REMOVAL, & look into all options for Botox as they price gauge everything here. read more

I am a new customer of Laseraway. I had heard great things and was excited to try. I REALLY wanted to like this place. I have had HORRIBLE customer service since becoming a customer. I have had multiple appointments canceled after I have confirmed them and I am flabbergasted. My first appointment was rescheduled because there were machine issues, which was fine. My upset comes from a phone call last night to explain after I confirmed my appointment, that it couldn't be accommodated. I made my appointment literally 4 weeks ago and I am getting a phone call the night before. I have at this point planned a day around an appointment that has now been cancelled. I called today multiple times and was put on hold by 2 different people. I understand people make mistakes. However, this is unacceptable. I am very upset at this point. read more

Update November 17th, 2019 -------------------------------- A month ago Nicole reached out to me in regard to my poor experience at their Laser Away location. Nicole informed me that she was a new regional director to this location but was eager and willing to assist me with these issues I experienced years prior. She offered me to come in and try and IPL facial since I already had my tattoo removed. Let me tell you, I have never been one for facials let alone ones involving lasers but I am more than happy I did. Nicole was very informative throughout the entire process which really put me at ease. Communication throughout an experience like this really makes you feel like they care about your feelings and concerns. The atmosphere of this location was significantly different than when I was there years ago. A warm, welcoming environment that catered to my specific needs. I'm happy to be able to try out this place again and will keep you updated on a few more IPL facials I will be getting! read more

The worst company the lady Hayley talks you into contract doesn't explain to you exactly what your signing up for she just force you into contract is very rude I wanted out contract she put in whatever information in the contract to get you approve when I tried to get out she said your not going find another place better and I would have to pay over $1000 dollars for one treatment I did the customer service sucks Hayley give laser away a bad reputation because the stafff there was nice but no one should be stuck in a contract I called two days after signing and told me I could get out and lied about payments once I received a letter from loan company was very different from what was told to me and made me pay down payment that company says they never received either .!!!
