I love Laser Away and this location in particular. In general, they're reliable and clean and professional. Prices are competitive. I have done Botox, a bit of fillers, and IPL! This location is well run, and appointments are on time. I think all the technicians are skilled, I have not had a bad experience and I've seen about 4 diff people. My favorite injector is Florin - she's so good and gentle. I don't feel a thing. She's also very knowledgeable! So glad I found this place!!! Very happy with the results! I saw an add online and decided to request prices. The forms ask you about email and phone number. Which is fine. But sales team starts calling you 10 min after you submit the form. I start receiving calls at 8 am in the morning. I didn't pick up at first, but the next day I got annoyed. When I asked her why would you call me at 8 am the girl would say well you filled out the form at 7:50 am yesterday. Like wtf? Would you call me at 3 am if I filled out the form at 2:50 am. Don't need to be so aggressive selling services. Show the prices online or send them to the email when requested! It makes me think they have different prices for different individuals as everything requires consultations. I received an introduction email to set up time for a consultation, I received provably 4 calls in 2 days and 2 messages. Like what's next? You will send me a letter or knock on my door? The email is enough, or at least wait till person call you back. No need to push! read more

Extremely unsatisfied. I purchased 1mm of Juvederm Ultra XC. I received about half the syringe at the first appointment. After that first appointment my lips bruised incredibly bad. My bottom lip was blue and purple. I knew there was a chance of bruising so I wasn't extremely upset. After 7 days the bruising finally faded. After 2 weeks I noticed that two bumps were still visible on my bottom lip and it seemed a little lopsided. My follow up appointment was 3 weeks later. I let the nurse know that I wanted a little more fullness on the top lip because my bottom seemed to be a lot bigger and it didn't seem very balanced. This time I barley bruised. Just two blue dots where the needle had entered my lip. I thought, "Great!". I noticed right away that I had a lump on the top left but the nurse assured me that it would go down within two weeks. Same thing for my bottom lip. It's been one month since my first appointment and the bump I had still hasn't dissolved and now my top lip is lumpy and uneven as well. This procedure is NOT cheap. I paid very good money and expected my lips to look even and plump. They are the complete opposite. I'm extremely upset and want to hide my lips now. They're uneven, and bumpy. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. The only reason I didn't give Laser Away 1 star is because the location was very clean and my nurses were nice. Unfortunately, they're not experienced enough. read more

I bought a package on Groupon for three sessions on a medium area and called to make an appointment for my underarms. I told the woman on the phone I was familiar with laser hair removal. I have had it done before but wanted to find a place closer to my apartment so I didn't have to travel on the subway during the pandemic. The woman repeatedly kept trying to up sell me even though I told her I just wanted the three sessions and would purchase more later if I needed it, as my hair grows in fairly light and I've had results with laser hair removal with just 3-5 sessions. She would not listen. After *literally* 20 minutes of her badgering me and not simply making my appointment, I said I'll be canceling my Groupon and would be going elsewhere. It was extremely unprofessional and made me wary of ever going to Laseraway - Groupon on not. Note to management: Don't offer Groupon deals if you're going to harass customers into buying more expensive packages and not honor the deal. I've had a great experience with Laser Away. The staff at the Flat Iron location are so warm and friendly. The laser technicians have been super knowledgeable and make me feel comfortable throughout my treatment (which is so important when getting a laser hair removal Brazilian!) I've had 6/8 treatments and see a significant different in hair thickness and quantity. Regrowth is also much slower than I've experienced after waxing (which I did consistently for years). Love the customer service here. Staff is wonderful and very particular in their practice in Boston and NYC. Very hygienic, comfortable, insightful and attentive environment. All nurses informed me about preparation and post-care instruction for laser hair removal. I followed all the right steps for my 8 appointments. I purchased full legs, Brazilian, and under arms. Overall, completely unsatisfied with the laser hair removal process. I wasted sooooo much money ($3,500+) for a service that still leaves me shaving and minimal hair reduction. I feel like I was scammed and they want me to pay $876.15 for maintenance sessions. Ridiculous to have to keep paying for a service that didn't even give me the results they promote everywhere. Now, I'll end up spending money at another laser hair removal company to make up for the terrible results of LaserAway. Sucks that this was my graduation gift to myself and it was a waste of money and time. read more

Would often have to wait for long periods despite being on time to appointments. And it took forever (like 4+ months) for me to get any help or refund when I opted out of a product that had a grace period for doing so. First I would like to say that the Clear An Brilliant package was great, I enjoyed it, and the financing was good. But their scheduling practices are ridiculous. I got double booked, bumped, moved to other locations on short notice pretty regularly. For my last treatment I was moved to another location within hours of my appointment which is fine. But I was also promised a comp treatment which the person at the front desk of the new location didn't know about. She supposedly then scheduled me for one which was supposed to happen today. But that comp never materialized. That's really shoddy customer service. Sorry guys, but you gotta do better. Make good on your promises and honor people's time by not jerking them around with constant rescheduling. I will not go back, sorry to say. read more

Terrible customer service, they rescheduled my appointment from 6:45 PM to noon in a text without my permission -- on the day before the appointment. The text did not tell me when it was rescheduled to. I had to call up to find out the new time, and they were completely dismissive and uncooperative when I informed them that I couldn't make the new time. Please do not take a consult phone call. Their sales people will trick you into signing a loan that they will later claim you can't rebuke . I had second thoughts hours after my consult and decided I didn't want to go through, my sales rep Madison basically told me they don't do refunds (I hadn't paid a cent yet) and used a lot of confusing phrasing and jargon. If this is happening to you, I was able to contact the lender directly, explain my situation, and they this company can't hold me to a loan if I haven't paid anything or gotten a service and said the loan will be canceled after they deal with the company. They have cycled through lenders which leans me to believe when they're exposed they're dropped and have to move on to another. They tried to hold me to $2100 and said they'd only "make an exception" and give store credit. Bullshit. They count on you giving in and giving up. Hack company. read more

Get ready to never be able to get an appointment. Then be told you have to "book" to get numbing cream on your second visit. The 3rd visit, you can only get numbing for 10mins even if you show up 30mins before. Oh and on your 4th treatment if you want to get numbing cream it's NOW 35 dollars extra. I've never been to ANY medí-spa that charges for numbing cream. Just say, it's a barbaric cattle service, our goal is to get your money and never get an appointment and if you do, get out ASAP, we don't care about your comfort. Each person has a different excuse, different story because it's extra time, even though a treatment is 3 mins long. This company is too busy signing up new people to treat customers who have paid for treatments with any real customer service. It's the worst place ever. Don't pay for the packages, your stuck. I predict they will fade out. As demand increases, prices at boutique places with quality care will drop and "fast" services will fail. They should, if they don't care about patient care.
