They handled the large event with style and grace... the indoor and outdoor elements of this field make it quite different to places in I know to play in the LA area... having the option to move indoor and play true CQB or step outside and play the long game during the same game was really fun. My son and I liked it so much we stayed and extra day to play walk-on and explore more of the field. Country Bowl isn't just a bowling alley--it's a living piece of Americana that deserves to be…read morecherished, embraced, and visited often. This place has everything you could want: retro arcade games like Mortal Kombat II, air hockey, a pool table, that classic bar-style shuffleboard game, and of course--bowling. But the real magic? It's in the kitchen. A young man named Chris, who's as friendly as he is talented, makes three handcrafted barbecue sauces and a killer chili garlic sauce--each one flavorful, unique, and unforgettable. Pair them with one of the best hamburgers, pastrami sandwiches, or pulled pork plates you'll ever have, and you'll see why this place is a favorite among locals. I noticed something special here: when the service industry pros from Redding's top-rated bars and restaurants are off the clock, they choose to come here. That says everything. These folks know good food, and they keep coming back--not just for the fun and nostalgia, but for Chris's cooking and the genuinely great vibes. So do yourself a favor: bring the family, bring your dog, bring grandpa and grandma, bring your cat if you want--just don't bring a homeless person. (They've got rules, like anywhere else.) Come enjoy a slice of classic America right here in Redding, talk to Chris behind the bar, and taste the sauces that everyone's raving about. You'll be back. Trust me.

We rented a lane and started hitting our golf balls and drinking our beverages. After about 35 minutes, we were asked to leave along with 3 other groups. The reason was because our lanes were already reserved. I was never told this when I rented the lane and didn't know about the reservation requirement until I checked their website later on. In addition to that, the employee (probably the owner), kept hovering around our lanes and kept telling us we had 5 minutes left, then 1 minute left, and finally, we had to leave! I have never been to a restaurant (even ones with reservations only) where i have been told to finish my meal quickly because the table I'm sitting at is reserved for someone else. I won't return and I will tell my family and friends to find something else to do besides Auqa Golf. Maybe they should have reservations for a portion of the facility or reservations only, or not at all (like it used to be).
