She wasn't pushy at all and didn't upsell me anything - just gave me all the tips and info. We decided on a tandem snowmobile for an hour with a guide. We arrived 20 minutes late but she was so professional - she shortened and made the check in process so easy. There was a cabin with fire where you can change since Deer Mountain was quite cold and was snowing that day desolate the snow drought. She was mega attentive and taught us everything and told us exactly where we were going. She took couple of pictures for us and explained what we'll see had it not been so foggy. On the way back when we stopped at a viewpoint my boyfriend accidentally accelerated and we toppled right where the cliff started - Michele rushed over and helped us up and we genuinely concerned for our well being. Just got back from an incredible fishing trip with guide Jack Trout on the Upper Sacramento River,…read moreand I can't say enough good things about the experience. I brought my 8-year-old son Brandon along for his first real fly fishing adventure, and Jack made it a day we'll both remember forever. From the moment we hit the water, Jack was patient, knowledgeable, and great with my son. The float down the river was absolutely stunning, and the fishing action was steady throughout the day. Jack knew exactly where to go, and we hooked into some beautiful rainbows... 12 strikes and 9 landed, some north of 18 inches. Jack grilled up a hot ribeye steak lunch riverside--seriously next level. It felt more like a gourmet adventure than a fishing trip at times. Spotting wildlife along the river including deer and a bald eagle as we tackled the mild rapids was awesome! I've fished this river from the banks for years, but the float trip really gets you to locations that you can't otherwise access.
