My issue is with how I was treated after expressing understandable disappointment over a last-minute cancellation of a Father's Day charter that had significant emotional value and required planning around limited availability. After simply asking whether any alternate guides or solutions were available, I received a response stating they were "extremely disappointed" in me and implying I lacked empathy. As a paying customer, I believe it was reasonable to be disappointed and ask questions. Two things can be true at once: their guide suffered a tragic loss, and their handling of customer communication was unnecessarily defensive and unprofessional. I would have appreciated empathy and professionalism instead of being reprimanded for my reaction.

This was AMAZING! We went to Shasta Lake for the weekend. We stayed at the Bridge Bay resort. It…read morewas a great place. On Saturday morning I walked out on the front balcony to take look at this beautiful lake early in the morning. The guest next door (Daniel) and I started talking. I told her I want to take family out on a boat and so questions revolved around what kind of boat should I rent etc....She suggested to contact her friend Captain Michele and let her take all of us out. The best suggestion ever! Michele immediately returned my call and we decided on a half day on her ski boat starting at noon. We drove to Antler's Marina and met Captain Michele at the dock. The best day of summer!! She was super friendly yet professional. We did the paperwork and head out. Tubing, wake boarding, fishing etc. You name it and Michele arranged it all for us. She had all the equipment. All we had to do was show up with our sandwiches and beverages (The good kind). Captain Michele was our designated driver!!! Most fun ever! Or as my 8 year old son put it #bestsummerever!! Smiles and laughs and fun all the way till the evening hours. I would also like to mention that price was very reasonable too. We can't wait to go back. I will give Captain Michele a little bit more notice this time. Thank you so much Fun Factory!!

She wasn't pushy at all and didn't upsell me anything - just gave me all the tips and info. We decided on a tandem snowmobile for an hour with a guide. We arrived 20 minutes late but she was so professional - she shortened and made the check in process so easy. There was a cabin with fire where you can change since Deer Mountain was quite cold and was snowing that day desolate the snow drought. She was mega attentive and taught us everything and told us exactly where we were going. She took couple of pictures for us and explained what we'll see had it not been so foggy. On the way back when we stopped at a viewpoint my boyfriend accidentally accelerated and we toppled right where the cliff started - Michele rushed over and helped us up and we genuinely concerned for our well being. We're so grateful she was our guide and can't recommend her enough. She's an amazing person with a beautiful smile and we definitely suggest everyone go snowmobile with her, especially first timers!

Just got back from an incredible fishing trip with guide Jack Trout on the Upper Sacramento River,…read moreand I can't say enough good things about the experience. I brought my 8-year-old son Brandon along for his first real fly fishing adventure, and Jack made it a day we'll both remember forever. From the moment we hit the water, Jack was patient, knowledgeable, and great with my son. The float down the river was absolutely stunning, and the fishing action was steady throughout the day. Jack knew exactly where to go, and we hooked into some beautiful rainbows... 12 strikes and 9 landed, some north of 18 inches. Jack grilled up a hot ribeye steak lunch riverside--seriously next level. It felt more like a gourmet adventure than a fishing trip at times. Spotting wildlife along the river including deer and a bald eagle as we tackled the mild rapids was awesome! I've fished this river from the banks for years, but the float trip really gets you to locations that you can't otherwise access.
