After checking…read moreYelp, we contacted Harris WorkSystems, a woman-owned and operated business located right here in Tigard. The website is easy to navigate and the actual showroom is very impressive. We made an appointment with Space Planner, Nate and he came out to our home to take measurements of our actual space and to give us some ideas on how to configure the space we could comfortably share. He drew up a schematic with suggestions for length of counters, the height, where to place file drawers, and a storage tower we had our eye on. We chose a light colored laminate with black accents and drawer pulls. We also added an extra rolling file cabinet for my husband's side. There was a bit of a glitch when the installers came out the first time as a counter was too long on one side of the room and had to be cut down, adding about 3 weeks to the completion time. It was a bit frustrating to wait so long but we understood. After the initial installation, we decided to add extra shelves in the storage tower and add another locking 3-file drawer unit to my side. Since all of the furniture is custom made, it was another few weeks of waiting. Add to that Harris WorkSystems being short-staffed and issues with the supply chain, we remained patient and knew it would all work out. Communication and updates from Nate during this time was a tad unsatisfactory but we are very happy with the end result. Exceptional quality and within budget. We highly recommend Harris Worksystems and are considering having them design a workspace for my home art studio next.

Found exactly what we were looking for at a dirt cheap price. Very sturdy mahogany desk/table... it will probably last a lot longer than I will. $50 delivery charge. I ask, "so about when will you be able to deliver it?". The owner says, "how's right now sound?". 15 minutes later my new desk is in it's new home and I'm a happy camper. And at a cost that was a LOT less than anyone else was asking. YMMV but this place is aces IMHO.

We were very excited to see that the pricing was not only competitive, but the staff actively looked for ways to save us money. There was never any pressure to upgrade items. In fact there were a few things we had chosen that they suggested we would not need. The owners, family, and staff are all extremely helpful. We set up a time for my daughter to learn to build. Steve (one of the owners) spent several hours helping her one on one. She left with a fully operational computer that she had chosen the parts for and built herself. By the time we left, we felt like we were one of the family! Thank you AMT for giving us such a fantastic experience! I had seen AMT's store near the Sherwood post office & took my Possessed laptop in on an information mission. Steve was in the shop that day and was so kind and knowledgeable that I felt comfortable leaving my computer with him. Little did I know at that time that banks send customers who have been hacked to AMT and this type of crime is not uncommon, even in Sherwood. Not only did he save me $$$, but he was generous with information that will help me in the future. Great place, great people.
