I do not have a printer and I needed to print my sons Driver's Education course material which was going to be pretty substantial for a home copier anyway. I found 9 Center Color Copies on Yelp and decided to give them a try. They had an order minimum or price minimum. I decided to order 4 copies bc it was nearly the same price as the minimum price which was still affordable. I figured other families may be in the same boat so I donated the other three to the driving school to give away as needed. The school was happy to have additional copies. I am really pleased with the way it turned out. The copies were higher quality paper and ink. There were no smudges and it looked perfect. I am already planning to use them again and refer them in the future to anyone who may need a lot of copies and either doesn't have a printer or would find it more cost effective to use 9 Cent Color Copies. My only semi complaint was parking. There are plenty of spots but they looked to be reserved and I wasn't sure which ones were intended for customers. I picked a spot next to the store and it worked out but I forgot to ask them, I will check next time. read more

I've been a customer for well over a decade, since the founder was operating the business out of his garage at home. I've referred thousands of dollars in business every year to 9Cent. The one and only thing this company wouldn't print was some non-nude 1930's-style boudoir photos in 2022, which they wouldn't due to the owner's religious beliefs. I respected that, and went elsewhere for that. So it's genuinely sad to my heart that I have to pull my business and referrals from this company, thanks to current owner, Cassie. I don't judge businesses by never having issues, but by how they handle issues that come up, and Cassie blew it, then kept blowing it even when I tried throwing her bones. I ordered some more business cards. The files were 3.75"x2.25", the exact size needed including bleed edges. Since the image, when sized to 2.25", was more than 3.5", but wasn't entirely 3.75", I filled those edges with a complimentary solid. The solid fell well within the area to cut off. When I got the cards yesterday, the image had been resized. Everything I had clear to the print edge was on the card, even after the bleed had been cut off, including the pink bleed edges. Okay, I could deal with that, though wasn't thrilled. Whatever. I had more cards and a bunch of other stuff to get printed to the tune of about $1,500, but before doing giving them so much money, I wanted to find out what happened here to prevent a repeat situation so that the cards would be as I wanted them, not resized so that the bleed edge is on the finished product. In fact, I got this one box to make sure the colors would look as I hoped and would match some bookmark tassels I'm using for bookmarks. I wanted to prevent any costly issues. That's how I operate. Something ended up not working, I accepted that, and wanted to find out where the process broke. Well, Cassie told me someone added a bleed edge, and did so without my permission, though my file that already had a bleed edge. So this meant two bleed edges. She said if I didn't want a visible bleed edge, I should have stretched the image to 3.75", which would have distorted it. So someone there added another bleed edge. This makes no sense at all for them to do. Why add another edge to a file that's already the size needed, and why do so without consent? After some back and forth, she kept insisting I just don't know how bleed edges work. I know very well how bleeds and cuts work. Ironic that the first and ONLY time someone there messed with a file is the ONE time I suddenly don't know how bleeds work. Put two and two together on this. She ended up refunding the order, which I didn't ask for, and in fact, I was fine eating the cost of the misprint myself since 9Cent is technically a small local business (as am I, a smaller one, but I was willing to eat it anyway). I told her I wasn't seeking a refund or even a discount on a future order, only that consent be sought before altering files, that it's better to seek consent or to print a file as is, rather than to alter a file without consent and risk it coming out wrong. I was hoping, so, SO hard, that she's just apologize and tell me she wouldn't have files modified without consent again. Instead, she continued her insistence that I just don't know how bleeds work, then went on to say that bleed edges can't have solid colors (um...yes, they can), and I quote from the email, "We aren't going to change a process that works for 95% of our customers nor delay 100s of orders." So you can't expect consent before they mess with your files, and by her own admission, this process won't work for 5% of their customers. So there's a 1-in-20 chance they'll mess with your files without permission, it won't work for you, and you're stuck. She said she was moving on from "being yelled at" by me, even though I'm significantly more mad in this review (does this review sound like I'm yelling?) since I was genuinely hoping to the end to salvage things and get her to agree to not modify files without consent. Unfortunately, she'd rather insist she's right and continue to modify without consent, a process that, according to her, only works for 95% of their clients, Hopefully you don't fall into the 5% who get screwed. I really, really, very badly wanted Cassie to just agree to not modify files without consent. She absolutely won't agree to this. So I can't continue working with 9Cent, and can no longer recommend this company to others. I am sincerely upset right now because I tend to be very loyal to companies I like, and it's hard to walk away from one and have to start a relationship with a new one. Customers need to know their artwork won't be messed with without permission. That shouldn't be so hard to ask. But Cassie absolutely won't agree, even though the files aren't hers. This isn't accetable. I've for a call with another local printer on Monday, the one that had no problem with my 1930's boudoir photos. read more

I cannot even express how amazing this company is! The first order I picked up brought me to tears because it was so beautiful! The quality of the prints is just stunning, and the customer service is wonderful! All communication is done by email which is a bit difficult for me because I like to talk more than write but they are extremely prompt with replies through email. My SIL and I have gone through this fantastic local company many times and have relieved consistently fantastic products :-) we mainly have used the for printing invitations (birthday parties, baby shower, etc) and coordinating paper products, and the paper quality is great, colors are vibrant and true to what was requested... This company is absolutely amazing. They printed out the Save the Dates for my wedding. I got 100 of them for only $10!!!!! They made a couple samples and realized that the resolution was making it blurry, and they worked with me until they were able to make it fully in focus. They even sent me home with free samples! They completed the job VERY quickly as well!! I was honestly on the fence with going with them just because of how cheap they are. I gave it a shot because the reviews were so good and if they sucked, I would only be out ten bucks.
