Received a beautiful bouquet of flowers for my birthday and Mother's Day... the expectation vs. reality is not at all meeting the criteria! Fresh flowers are pricey and you expect them to be what you pay for and they definitely fell short. The expectation for what you see in a photo vs. reality is night and day. They did call and try to make it better, but all I will get is some chocolates delivered. When I showed people the difference they were mortified up the difference in bouquets of flowers. I will not recommend this florist and don't order from a third-party. even though most delivery options are from a third-party. I guess happy Mother's Day. read more

I ordered at 7:30am, but my receipt in my order history on the website said 9:30am for some reason. I have had two great experiences here! I stopped in last-minute, after work, on my way to the hospital to see my mother who just had a procedure for breast cancer. It was 5 minutes to closing and I was greeted by a woman named, Kay. I apologized for coming in last-minute and she assured me it was ok, and asked how she could help. I told her the circumstances and she was very thoughtful and kind in regards to what my mother had just been through. She asked what my mothers' favorite color was and I told her. She stayed late to make this beautiful arrangement with yellow (mom's favorite color) and pink (breast cancer awareness). It was ever so beautiful and pleasant to look at. My mother was extremely happy when she saw the bouquet; so was I. I recently returned on a Saturday without calling ahead. I pulled up and realized they had been closed for about 30 minutes. I went to the door and was greeted again by, Kay. She welcomed me in and asked what the occasion was for. I, unfortunately, needed them for a recent loss of a good friends' mother. Kay expressed sympathy and was very compassionate to the situation. She then made another beautiful arrangement for me to give to my friend. While she made said arrangement, we chatted about life, family, friends, etc., it was very pleasant to speak with, Kay, while I waited. It's hard to find a business these days with an owner who genuinely cares about people and takes pride in what they do. I feel like I've made a new friend. Thank you, Kay. I placed an order a week ahead for a simple Valentines Delivery. When calling to follow up near 5:00 PM the florist simply said we are really busy so we don't know when your order will be delivered. Bottom line, go with a florist you trust not to deliver your loved ones flowers during bed time. So, I was in a bind because I live 1000 miles away from my mom and wanted to send flowers to her for her birthday. BUT my usual online outlet couldn't guarantee delivery TODAY (I know, I know...procrastination is my friend). I turned to Yelp for help and found Fine Flowers in my mom's town. No review/rating posted, but it was the first listed under "florist" in Vancouver, WA so I went with it. I knew what I wanted - stargazer lillies, Mom's favorite - so I phoned Fine Flowers and discussed options with the store clerk (whose name I don't recall). I told her my budget and she worked with me to get the most bang for my bucks! The prices/options seemed reasonable but you never know, site unseen. Order placed. Fingers crossed...since I'd been burned in the past ordering through FTD using local florists. Well, I am now "daughter of the year"! The flowers were delivered just a few hours after I phoned in the order and my mom LOVED the arrangement...she even called Fine Flowers and - to quote Mom - "embarrassed the manager because I told her, though I'm new in town and had not heard of them 'til now, I will DEFINITELY use Fine Flowers the next time I need flowers." As I arrived I was told, in an irritated manor " Friday was the busy day, you should have ordered online first".
