Excellent service over the phone. FTD cancelled an order from me because they couldn't meet the delivery they said they could. I called Sandy Country Florist and they accommodated me that same day and were very kind and helpful. Our friends said the flowers were beautiful. They were delivered within 2 hours of me calling with my request. I am not sure they can always accommodate such a request, but they could on this day and we were very grateful. The gentleman that helped was also very sympathetic toward our friends' loss. It was a rare customer service experience. I wish we had more of these types of folks helping us. read more

I called Sandy Country Florist for the second year in a row to send flowers to my daughter for a very special and unusual occasion. Since I'm not much of a flower bouquet designer and I was placing the order by phone, I had to rely on the florist's creativity to bring life to my words -- "make it very colorful and make it smell good." My family has sent all of their floral business to Sandy Country Florist for over 28 years - two weddings and floral arrangements for family members for every special occasion. In August, my daughter was in communication with Sandy Country Florist owners by phone, and in person, as she was dealing with the loss of her father. She was treated with a complete lack of professionalism, as was her grandmother who called in to order flowers for the funeral. When her grandmother put in the order for a funeral arrangement, she was asked very personal questions about the details of the death of my daughter's father. Her grandmother made several attempts to divert the questioning back to ordering the flowers, but the owner continued the interrogation in an attempt to get as much information about the deceased as possible. It made my daughter's grandmother very uncomfortable and devastated my daughter when the information was passed along to her. It was completely rude, offensive, and unprofessional. At the funeral home, the driver / owner spoke of another recently deceased person in full hearing of the arriving guests which was both inconsiderate and extremely unprofessional. Nothing was resolved My daughter phoned the owner to share her concern about the lack of professionalism and was treated with disrespect. Her concerns were not addressed, and the owner became quite defensive during the conversation. I went in to address the problem directly with the owner, explained the situation, reminded her of my family's repeated business over the years, and asked her if she would be willing to speak with my daughter again to restore the professional relationship. She took my daughter's contact information, said she would think about it, and possibly call her or send a small bouquet as an apology. This never happened. We tried to address the situation personally and directly; because it was never resolved, I felt that it was important to let other customers know of this egregious lack of professionalism. read more

By surprise I received a delivered floral arrangement from Sandy Country Florists in Sandy, OR (that my sister in CA ordered by phone), and the arrangement was gorgeous. The flowers -- that included as many as 17 varieties -- were picture-perfect and beautifully arranged and accented by lush, bold greens. It was one of the nicest arrangements I've ever received, or seen. Don't use this florist they don't stand behind their product or customer service. My Niece was here from California her Mom sent her flowers. She asked for purple carnations and roses. Unfortunately I ended up in the hospital. They delivered the flowers to my neighbor which contacted us and said the flowers looked half dead. My fiancé rushed home and agreed. We notified her Mom and she called Robert immediately. Robert told her to have us return the flowers and he would make it good. My fiancé emptied the water and headed to the florist. He was met at the door by a women saying there was no water in the vase. He explained why. At first they refused. He asked for Robert. Robert would not come out! After several minutes of arguing my fiancé asked for her money to be credited back to her credit card. He asked for a copy of the credit card receipt and again a augment broke out. I wouldn't have given them a full star but had to in order to write the review. read more

The flowers are wonderful and I've been here several times. However I noticed that the service was rather less than I expected. They are pretty short and rude to you if you do not know what you're looking for. I've had two people that are also Sandy locals say they've had the same experience. read more
