Nancy's floral is exellent company. I found it as a genuine florist shop in Portland metro area with it's own production and sales. I'm from Croatia-Eutope and I didn't know there is such a internet platforms for florists in USA but this is concrete shop with real people, workers and products. We wanted to order flowers for our uncle's grave in Portland who died exactly 100 years ago, and he had anniversary 2 days ago. Their webshop is simple and clear, cooperation with customer service was correct and quick, floral arrangment looked even preetier and more luxury than on picture on webshop. Delivery was punctual, just we have appointed. Ordered "YOU'RE PRECIOUS BOUQUET DELUXE" photos appear to have about 4 different flower types in the provided photo on uber. Received a small arrangement with 2 types of flower, roses and carnations. I selected "make substitutions when necessary, following the same style, colors, and value". Nothing was substituted at all, and this was not equal to their DELUXE bouquets. I went online found the items I wanted and ordered away! I bought a flower arrangement and then a fruit/ snack basket. The arrangement was beautiful as well as the snacks. I ordered a vase of flowers for a teen girl and I asked for pale pink and lavender flowers and there were pale pink roses, lilies with a variety of other flowers in the same color and very full. PLEASE stay away from this place. Look at the pictures what I ordered and what I got. The first picture is what I ordered, the second picture is what they did. Not even close. All the arrangements for this funeral supposed to be light colors. They couldn't even put this arrangements around the casket. They didn't match with the others. They just used some cheep flowers and put a huge ribbon to fill up the space. When I called they told me the picture from their website is from 1-800 flowers. Brides beware! We hired this florist to do our daughter's wedding flowers. Rob was good at calming my daughter about the bouquets and initially I thought he listened well. The bridal bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres were beautiful with sterling (or some other lavender rose) and white roses. Tabernacle flowers were too short and could have been fuller. When my husband called him on this he said that's the way we do them. Odd, since the church florist does much taller and fuller bouquets for the tabernacle. Then there were the altar flowers. We had agreed to mini peach roses. Instead we got regular size pink roses (identified more specifically by my florist friend) and no sterling roses to tie in our wedding colors. This threw off the whole aesthetic so much that I contemplated pulling them, but was worried about gaps. Instead, we kept my daughter from seeing them until she was walking and was focused on her groom. She noticed and was very upset the next day after the post-wedding brunch. The worst thing was that we agreed to a 3:30-4pm delivery window and got a call at 2:30 that no one was there to receive the order.My husband stopped getting ready put on street clothes and drove 30 min to get to the church to accommodate the florist. I found this unprofessional. My daughter actually said, "we should have done Trader Joe's flowers." I regret using a professional florist and wish I had used my friend or niece who are both former florists. I guess we didn't spend enough ($2000) to get stellar service. He did keep trying to get us to buy reception flowers and we only bought one swag. I was suspicious when after paying more than half he required payment in full 2.5 weeks before the wedding. My grandmother recently passed and we received a "fond memories" bouquet from friends who ordered it for our family. The site details snapdragons, lilies, orange celocia, roses, orange mini carnations, salidago, purple statice. I think what we received had 2 flowers actually from the website description. roses and yellow mini carnations. The rest was large chrysanthemums, red crocosmias (that were already drying out and falling off) and some red berries. It did not have any purple flowers at all when she brought it out to me and I had to show her a picture of the bouquet on their site. She said she didn't know what the purple flowers were in the photo, but she took it back and added some small random purple flowers. The bouquet cost our friends $149.95 and they used very cheap flowers and it looks nothing like the advertised bouquet. I understand not all flowers are available all year, but why advertise it if you cannot deliver what is being described. Not worth the cost. Better to get the premade arrangements in my opinion. read more

Update: to clarify, I was not offered a free ballon AND the delivery of the missing ballon. I was just offered a refund. Period. I literally had to beg like a hungry seal for you to keep your money and deliver the ballon the next day in which I was told you needed to investigate the order. I didn't care about the money, I wanted my mom to have the ballon. As far as the email address, I NEVER received an email from you with the correct email address. When the balloon hadn't been delivered by noon and you said you didn't have my email, you called and said you were waiting for an email from me and turns out I sent it to your "do not reply" email address. The one star review was for attitude. It was just a balloon and not that complicated. I still feel the flowers were shy of the photo even after opening up but they were better. As a former long term customer I felt scolded just trying to your mistake fixed. Your solution was to just return my money and call it good. When I pushed, you needed to "investigate". As far as you again taking the opportunity to scold me for the timing of my call and become a victim, I called you as soon as I found out about YOUR mistake and at no time did I EVER expect you run over there that evening. That was NEVER a part of the conversation. Your response continues to victimize yourself, scolding me for something that didn't happen. I never got an apology for the missing ballon in my phone call to you , just excuses that that has never happened before and that you needed to investigate the situation like I was some sort of liar. Bad attitude is consistent with your negative reviews, thus my experience and reason for your one star review which you are more concerned about than taking care of your former long time customer properly! I have ordered birthday and Mother's Day flowers from a Nancy's for years for my mom and Aunt who recently passed. This year there was a small issue for my mothers 86th birthday bouquet that could have been handled better. My mom learned how to post on Facebook and posted the bouquet I had Nancy's send her. I called them afterwards and let them know the bouquet was smaller than expected (shy flowers from the photo I ordered from) and the birthday balloon didn't get delivered. Immediately I was told they'd never forgot a balloon before and their best designer made the flowers and that I can have a refund on the the balloon. Even though the impact of my mom receiving a "birthday bouquet" was lost I still wanted the balloon delivered. I felt like I had to beg for the balloon, they really just wanted to issue a $5.99 refund. The woman then said they'd deliver the next day but to also send photos. The email came back as I used their do not reply email by responding to one of their emails. I ignored it and just figured they delivered the balloon. She called at noon asking for the photos and then gave me another email address. She said they didn't deliver the balloon in case they had to redo the bouquet. Well, they already told me they weren't fixing the bouquet yesterday so I already knew I'd Have to be stuck with it Shortly after they emailed me that the balloon was going be delivered with an apology for missing it. I felt a lot of defensiveness from them and since the birthday impact was ruined you'd think they would have added an extra balloon or something to make up for it . I ordered a specialty arrangement from 1-800-flowers to be delivered to the hospital. I had no idea which florist would be doing the arrangement and I'm not in the area, so I'm not familiar with any of the flower shops. I just received a photo of what was delivered and am blown away!! I ordered this floral arrangement online for Mother's Day, I looked specifically for a shop that could make a puppy arrangement and it took FOREVER but I'm soooooo glad I found Nancy's!
