I called to make sure they were open on Memorial Day and they were. After we got there, someone was explaining that we could grab a bucket with a little water to place freshly picked peonies into. There were clippers for our convenience. I want to say that they've only been in business for 4 years, I was just too excited to get out into the fields of peonies to confirm that fact! We got a bouquet of 10 beautiful flowers, and my sister had $20 cash, so we got 2 extra stems. It was a nice day to be outside, it wasn't super crowded. I loved watching people posing for photos. Now that I know about this place, I plan on returning every season!

I always loved seeing their flowers as I drove by. I never did stop by, and now I live in Hillsboro. It's not that far of a drive, but I don't drive by very often anymore. Well, I saw a water color painting class event on Facebook being held at Blooming Junction. My sister and I have been really getting into doing water color painting. I signed us both up. I was excited not only for the class, I was really interested in checking out what Blooming Junction had to offer! I'm so glad this opportunity presented itself. Such a lovely nursery, all the plants looked so healthy and well cared for. It's much more than a nursery though. There was a market to buy fresh produce and other sundry items. I was delighted to find Bubbies brand pickles. I find this brand at other stores, but the dill relish has been illusive. I was just thinking to myself this morning while making chickpea salad how I wished I had Bubbies Dill relish..and lo and behold I find it here! So happy! My sister and I strolled around before our class started. Bought a drink in the market to sip on throughout the class. There was a water cooler also in the workshop area. We had fun getting in touch with our creative side! After class ended, we strolled around some more. I ended up getting the Bubbies relish and strawberries. They were so sweet! There are so many things to see besides plants. I am sure I will be back!

My husband and I decided to get married in Cannon Beach, Oregon and had booked our date and venue…read moreover a year in advance. After a few months of trying to plan and coordinate everything on our own, my husband brought up the idea of hiring a coordinator. To be honest (and this will be no surprise to Carolyn), I was hesitant because I was trying to keep our wedding budget as low as possible and didn't think our wedding would be that complicated. But let me tell you, SHE IS WORTH EVERY PENNY and we have absolutely no regrets. We are so incredibly thankful that we found Carolyn because she is Wonder Woman! Not only is she an absolute expert about Cannon Beach weddings/venues/contacts, but she made the entire process as easy as possible for us by taking many things off of our to-do list and tackling them herself. Carolyn quickly grasped our vision and understood the aspects of our wedding that we did not want to be "traditional". We highly recommend choosing the Full Wedding Planning Package and could not imagine pulling off our perfect day without her and our regular check-ins. Carolyn was organized, kind, humorous, and at the end of the day, got things done. She always made herself available, whether it was planned or last-minute. On the wedding day, I encountered a slight dress malfunction...and Carolyn immediately came to the rescue with her "emergency kit" and made it appear as though nothing ever happened. She always told us that if there are problems on our wedding day, we would never know about them because she would take care of it -- it certainly felt that way to us! We love Carolyn (to the point that my husband started tearing up when we were saying thank you and goodbye to her after the wedding because we had such a great experience)! Thank you for a wedding weekend that we and our guests will never forget! Hire her!

We wanted an event that brought our community and family together to celebrate love, bikes, and camping in the stunning Columbia River Gorge, and it felt like Emee truly understood what was important to us from the start. She talked me off the ledge of worry and was willing to think through a full backup plan with me, before the issue resolved on its own. There were countless other instances of Emee handling things on the day of the wedding that let me, my husband, and our family just enjoy our time together. Emee and her team had great staffing at the event and skillfully coordinated all of our many shifting logistics for months leading up to the event. When we encountered obstacles, they handled them. When we needed to make changes, they cheerfully accommodated them.
