Worst experience possible for special day. I bought a corsage ($45) and boutonniere ($20) for a sea-themed prom. Photo on the website shows at least 8 flowers for the corsage, shells, and light blue ribbon. I made the purchase almost 3 weeks ahead of time and asked for dark blue ribbon. I picked them up the day of prom. The boutonniere wasn't made AT ALL, completely missed it. The woman at the counter asked the florist "can you make a boutonniere really quick?" I asked to be refunded for the boutonniere and was advised she didn't have the authority so she'd made a note. I took the corsage and upon opening, saw this single flower. I went back in the store and showed the photo on the site, specifically calling out the lack of shells as that's why I chose this corsage. The woman responded rudely that they were out of what was in the photo for that corsage. So, they didn't even bother to substitute with other flowers? I sent an email asking to be refunded and received a receipt as a response, refunding the boutonniere and gave $10 back for this single $45 carnation. The "corsage" ended up unworn and trashed. I'm disappointed with my recent experience. I ordered and paid $80 plus delivery for a specific holiday flower arrangement intended to celebrate both a birthday and the holidays. What was delivered did not match what I selected or paid for. Unfortunately, I happened to be present when the flowers were delivered, which made the situation especially awkward when the recipient asked if they were from me--and I genuinely wasn't sure because the arrangement looked so different from what I ordered. I would definitely not order from this florist. I ordered a grandiose "premier" arrangement from "From You Flowers" which was supposed to be for the celebration of a fabulous achievement. I paid well over $100 and the online description says daisies, carnations, mums and roses. What was delivered was an arrangement of cheap carnations, a few daisies and some small mums. There are two Photos below, the one ordered and the one received. I was grateful that "From You Flowers" for resending another order, the new arrangement was "better@ but definitely not the premier that was paid for. I wanted a no frills wedding, so I wasn't going to do a bunch of flowers, however, I did want a nice bouquet. I went to Costco because they always have beautiful flowers. They said they don't do bouquets but the gal there said oh you can make one yourself easily. So, I actually entertained that idea for a while even buying wire, etc., from Michaels. Well, let's be honest I'm not crafty so I aborted that idea too. I decided a neighborhood florist shop that I had always seen but never used because I honestly don't do flowers as much as I think I should (resolution for 2013). I ordered flowers for my moms birthday which after upgrading to the 2nd tier bouquet, delivery fee and 20% tip cost $155. The bouquet delivered not only was very far from the picture but the flowers were off colored and wilted with a hole in the middle. I picked out a specific anniversary arrangement, which they substituted out without even calling me to see if there were certain flowers or colors my wife might prefer instead. I've never had a florist ever substitute an arrangement without contacting me first to advise and discuss. Delivery was after 3 pm, which was fine. Further, the only email option is via Microsoft Office so there's not just a visible email address provided, and I don't use Office for my emails. Since it was a small wedding, nothing too complicated, just my bridal bouquet, the groom's boutonniere, and two display bouquets for the pillars we rented. I'm one of those "No, I don't want to browse, if I go to place an order I already know what I want" people and the lady who helped me understood that and just worked around the flowers and I wanted and the flowers I didn't want. Picked up the flowers the day before the wedding and they were PERFECT. I was a bit concerned that the stargazer lilies in the display bouquets weren't open when I picked them up, like they were in the bridal bouquet, but overnight they opened and were beautiful for the day of the wedding. Pricing was clear and worth the cost, as the flowers were perfectly arranged with all the filler flowers I had specified (I hate baby's breath and wanted it nowhere near my flowers).
