I called and said my friends was going through some intense health issues and I wanted something fresh, vibrant and beautiful to make her feel better. NOT mostly carnations. I told them my limit was $100 and thought they'd be more creative with their variety. Will be using a different florist if I order flowers for my friend who lives there in the future. Update (as replying to the owner is not an option.) I added 2 stars to my review because their customer service IS great. Even down to the reply from the owner in this review. When I called, I said $100 was what I wanted to spend total and with delivery, it came out to $99.60 or around there. Even at $85, this is definitely not a cheap arrangement. I do apologize. I should have called you so I was wrong there. I can take responsibility for that. I see only 2 lilies from the pic my friend sent me (the one posted) but anybody could see that this bouquet is mostly carnations. The bouquet IS pretty but yes. You are correct in saying that Americans find carnations less than desirable.

I ordered them for my mother-in-law's 99th birthday and received a relatively ordinary bouquet of about 15-20 flowers in a plain glass vase. It looked like something that could've been picked up at any flower outlet in the area. To make matters worse, when it was delivered the person who received the order at the front desk of where my mother-in-law lives had to leave the flowers sitting out for a while because they smelled so heavily of smoke. She guessed that maybe the driver had been smoking and the odor transferred to the flowers. This was not a positive experience.

I reached out because I needed a bouquet for my wedding and did not know a single thing about making one. She had me come in and speak with her and the owner to give an idea of what I would like. They patiently walked me through the whole process, brought out example flowers and showed me a very rough draft, but could not guarantee they could source the exact flowers at the time of the wedding. Well, when I picked up the bouquet it was everything I could've hoped for and more. Not only were they able to source the exact flowers they had showed me and I fell in love with, but they also got me pussy willows as requested. They really took a vague vision and turned it into reality and it turned out better than I could have ever imagined. Every employee was so friendly and helpful. They even let me take a vase with the promise of returning it, because I stupidly forgot my own! AND they made me a complimentary tossing bouquet. Ugh! Highly recommend. She had 8 days to notify me that she couldn't complete the order. I called more than half a dozen times, left multiple voicemails, and received absolutely no response. She was totally uncommunicative. Nothing arrived. We waited all day. She DID respond WITHIN AN HOUR when I went to social media, and she then blocked me from her Instagram site when I shared how I was actually treated.
