The food looked better than it tasted. The decor is pretty awesome too. I tried elk meat for the first time and enjoyed it. The steak was too well done and the chicken fajitas veggies were tastier than the chicken. They got us extra hot sauces - which again goes towards a great experience with the waiter. Just be aware, this is under the ground level restaurant- so there is no natural light.

We recently visited Rojo Marrón and had a really great experience overall!…read more We ordered the fish tacos, beef street tacos, and the "Espropapa" (definitely not spelling that right ). The Espropapa was honestly a standout -- absolutely delicious. The chipotle dip that came with it was AMAZING, and the presentation was a 10/10. The potato was sliced into a spiral and served on a stick, which made it both fun and visually impressive. The fish tacos were also excellent. They were cooked perfectly, full of flavour, and topped with fresh vegetables. The chipotle mayo sauce paired with them was sooo good and really brought everything together. The beef street tacos were still very good and not dry at all, but compared to the other dishes they were slightly underwhelming. Still enjoyable, just overshadowed by how strong the other items were. Service was great -- our server was friendly, loved to chat, and checked in on us regularly without being overbearing. They even brought out a bucket of different sauces labeled with spice levels, which was a fun touch and let us customize the heat. The decor was very Mexican-themed and added a lot of character to the space. The tables looked a bit worn, but honestly it added to the overall style and vibe rather than taking away from it. Overall, a really enjoyable meal with great flavours, fun presentation, and welcoming service. Definitely worth a visit!

Supreme Commander 15" inch pizza was very tasty, toppings to our liking, with fresh ingredients. I love their self-rotating pizza oven which helps with evenly baking. My only concern was the thin layer of crust in the center wasn't strong enough to support the weight of the toppings. Some of the toppings fell on the plate. I had to bend a portion of the pizza forward or hurry and take a few bites. Helpful customer service. Tables were full when we arrived and continued that way at the end of our dining experience. We're offered the last seats at the bar upon walk in. This worked for us granted there were no reservations. Great lighting.

The burgers were good but the fries were exceptional. One person in our group also had fish and chips and that was good too. One had brunch and ordered pancakes, and those were really good that we decided to go back for breakfast the next day. For brunch the next morning, we had the Lou Lou's Omelette and some waffles. Both were exceptional and really hit the spot. Service was excellent, all the servers always had smiles on their faces and were always attentive. When we visit Jasper again, we will surely stop by Lou Lou's!

Loulou's also serves pizzas, ranging from the basic to special pizza pies. My partner had the Loulou's breakfast, which includes two eggs, toast, potatoes, tomatoes and your choice of meats. I had the three-cheese omelette with potatoes and toast. Both dishes were very tasty and cooked to perfection. The ambiance of the restaurant almost looks like a 1950's dinner, and is super cool and very welcoming. Soft jazz music was playing while we were there, which made it relaxing as well. Service was excellent and spot on, very polite and professional. A must if you are in the area of downtown Jasper and even just passing through!! I look forward to returning to try their pizza.

On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the decor definitely delivered on the "ranch" vibe. The old-style wooden chairs and overall atmosphere gave it a cozy, rustic feel that I really liked. The food, however, was a bit hit or miss. We ordered the chicken strips, which honestly felt a little disappointing. They were cooked properly, but the chicken itself had an odd taste that threw me off. I had onion rings on the side -- they were good, but nothing particularly memorable. We also ordered two 1-lb orders of wings (hot honey and salt & pepper), and these were definitely the highlight of the meal. The wings were cooked really well, juicy without being dry, and both flavours were delicious. Overall, great service and atmosphere, but the food quality felt inconsistent. I'd come back for the wings, but probably skip the chicken strips next time. They also have a 7.99$ for 1LB of wings, which was definitely a bonus.

Reasonable prices for the potions and quality of the food and the service is pretty decent. The second time a different bartender/ server was not as good. It was less busy than the first time but she would go to the kitchen (which we can see from the bar) and be talking and laughing and we would have to waive her down a few times.
