Mojito.. too many mint leaves not enough alcohol

Staff was very friendly to us. Made sure everyone was accommodated. We came here for lunch, it was up the street from our AirBNB. I had the popeye shrimp taco and tuna taco. The shrimp one and cream of spinach in it. They gave us free shrimp broth shots which are good. I had fried rice with shrimp and calamari. I thought it was gonna have a Mexican twist far as taste but it taste just like regular chinese food lol. I did pour one of the shrimp broth shots over the meal for more flavor

I was in Cancun for a weekend to see my friend. She lives right next door and recommended this restaurant. We arrived here around 3:00pm on Saturday, and they weren't busy, but there were a few customers dining in. It is a little cute restaurant that has tables and counters. Since she knew the staff as she came here almost everyday, I told her to get whatever tasted good. She ordered eight tacos (two each): pescadillas, fried shrimp, ceviche, and tuna. Our tacos came less than 10 minutes, and the food looked good. They gave us the five different kinds of sauces. Some are spicy and some are non-spicy and creamy. There were a little bar to get veggies and pickles. Fried shrimp tacos were crispy and went well with the creamy sauce. Ceviche and tuna tacos were very fresh and flavorful. All was good, but my favorite was tuna tacos. Corn tortillas were fried which I didn't really like though. The service was efficient, and the staff was nice and friendly. They can speak English. The inside was very open. No windows. Just come in and feel the nice breeze. The music was a little loud, but it seems like that's for all restaurants. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. We were here about two hours and the restaurant was packed by the time we left. I will definitely come back here when I'm in town.

Great little tostadas for one US dollar each. Full lunch for US$4. They also have street tacos and their micheladas are very large and only about US$4.50

Great service and delicious fresh seafood. Also very inexpensive. Will certainly come back! Beers are at 25 pesos equivalent to $1.38 US. Way to go!!!

My wife and I split one burrito. Went there twice in March thumbs up On the friendly service. Had the chicken burrito and the pineapple salsa with chips. Recommended!

I saw so many videos and read so much hype about this place. I was excited to try it. I was just as disappointed when I threw out my burrito after a couple of bites. The food here is not good. It is so basic. I ordered chili cheese fries, and a burrito. For the burrito, you have to complete a form for your customizations, which I thought was going to be efficient. Unfortunately, despite my burrito, having everything in it that it was supposed to, I was overwhelmed by the massive amount of onions. Additionally, I was underwhelmed by the amount of shrimp inside my burrito. There weren't many at all and the entire burrito literally tasted like nothing. I ordered the shrimp and mahi. There was absolutely nothing remarkable about it. For a second, I almost wondered if I had Covid because the flavor was so lacking. But after speaking to friends of mine who also visited, I realized that I wasn't the only one. In total, I spent about US$32 on an order of chili cheese fries, a jerk, chicken, quesadilla, and a burrito. Fries: so bland. I wanted to throw them out, but I saved them and took them back to my hotel and added salt. It helped a bit, but these were overwhelmingly underseasoned and lacking flavor. The portion, however, was huge. Two out of five. Burrito: more mahi-mahi than shrimp, and neither protein was flavorful. The entire burrito was very bland and was full of more onions than I would ever care to eat. The burrito wasn't OK size, but it did not taste good. Two out of five. Jerk, chicken quesadilla: basic. Not super flavorful. And the chicken did not taste like jerk chicken at all. It didn't even have jerk flavor. Didn't even taste like they rolled the chicken in a little bit of jerk before cooking it. Three out of five. The staff noticed that I did not eat much of my food and asked if I didn't like it. I informed them that I did not like it and that I didn't think it had enough flavor. They did not care. I didn't fully expect them to because I know customer service is very different in Mexico, but I expected more. She even asked if the burrito was too spicy, which was hilarious because there was nothing spicy or even flavorful about it. This is very much a hole in the wall, kind of spot that has been blown up on social media. Very casual vibes, and there appears to be a small roof area where you can overlook the street. I would not return here. I also would not recommend it. Another example of influencers likely getting free food in exchange for review reviews. However, they do have a sign up that says you can get a free shot if you leave a review.

It's huge, as far as presentation it's not very fancy, it was tasty but as large as it was you'd think it had more alcohol to offset the size. But it did not. My wife ordered the aguachile with octopus. I ordered the Tuna Burger, and we got the steak quesadillas as an appetizer. My wife said she would give her aguachile a 3.8 out of 5. I thought the tuna burger was very tasty. Basically they took a tuna steak and put it between a hamburger bun. I can't really compare it to a regular meat burger. But on a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 7. It came only with lettuce and tomato, but it had flavor enough. The quesadilla's were good, but nothing special, I'd say they were comparable to any you get at an average Mexican restaurant in the states. We came here because of the high ratings. Maybe we ordered the wrong things to try, I thought everything was good, but nothing that was so good it made me want to hurry back.

The menu is simple with just enough options to where everyone can find something they like. I had the skirt steak tacos and my friend got fish tacos, We also ordered a frozen margarita and mojito that were huge!!!!! The prices were fair for what you get and the atmosphere is casual and comfortable. The music is not too loud so you can have a conversation with your group. They are not pushy to get you in and out like other places. Will definitely be back
