Fun restaurant, great seafood, great cocktails, excellent staff. Seems like a place where locals come on a special occasion, especially a birthday. I loved the passion fruit margarita I ordered. It was so refreshing and delicious. The waiter rolls out the fresh raw seafood on a cart and tells you the catch of the day and you pick what seafood you want and he suggests different ways of preparing it. Cool big palapaish look. I told both open table it was a milestone birthday for my husband. The hostess also asked if it was a special occasion, even though I could see it on her screen. Birthday was never acknowledged ;(. Older writer spoke very quickly and it is very loud in there. Music. High ceilings. Besides shrimp, fish filet options were limited unless you wanted a whole fish. We ordered Volcano shrimp which was very good served on fire on Volcano stone. It's served with full shells on. Sides include rice and veggies. The other staff was very attentive. Welcome drink tasty. It cost us a $35 taxi fare each way and a non celebratory meal with a vibe for people who don't need to hear to talk. Margaritas were fine. read more

This restaurant is so beautiful and we had such a great time! The staff is amazing and super friendly. Because it was our first time there, they brought out a complimentary dish, a refreshing lemonade mint drink (which was soooo refreshing and one of our favorites) and a soup. The calamari, coconut shrimp and grilled chicken were delicious. I really recommend the coconut shrimp. I thought it was so clever to plate it in an actual coconut. They also sang to me for my birthday, and brought out desert which was so nice. 10/10 recommend this restaurant. Must try if you are here in Cancun. Unreal!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First we notice how packed it was at 3 in the afternoon then we saw them serving octopus. So we waited and sat down. Beautiful atmosphere to eat and be in. We came around 11am today after walking in the heat. This place is right a cross Costco so it's a great stop after shopping. We were greeted by the hostess and waitress at same time and we had mentioned how it's our first time here. They were super friendly and very helpful. We asked for menus in English which they had. I ordered the tacos (just cuz it was too hot for anything else) I had the shrimp and fish tacos they were delish! I asked for it to be "natural" meaning for them to serve it plain. Then I was able to add my own sauce and onion and cilantro. They brought us a shrimp soup to "try", then a wonderful refreshing lime and mint dish ink to "try" and then a bean veggie tostada to "try"! It was delish and loved they offered us such things to try. A great selling point for me! The waitress Amy was great! Nothing was a problem and she spoke English which was helpful! She made it a great experience and would return because of the service. The manager came around also thanking us for supporting them. Who does that? By the time we left it was getting busy. I LOVED the restaurant. The all natural jungle feel of it is totally my vibe. read more

This restaurant is super friendly and the food is very delicious (que Rico!). I definitely recommend to give this restaurant a chance and you won't be disappointed. We ordered the ceviche, grilled octopus in garlic sauce, and sea food ink rice (like a pallea). All was delicious and the we ordered a 2L pitcher or strawberry mint agua fresco. There was more than enough food for 3 people, but my parents don't eat as much food like they used too . They are very conscientious when it comes to cleaning and safety protocols. We struggled to find some Yummy seafood like we've had on the Pacific side of the ocean. I found this restaurant on yelp, it did not disappoint. The service was a 10 out of 10. They make tableside Mojito's as well as a shrimp soup. Everything we eat the state was great. read more

Excellent service since the very beginning! Went out for lunch here with my friend and had the pleasure of Julio serving us. He was absolutely amazing, helpful, and well attentive to us. My friend was very pleased that Julio was able to communicate in English and I was grateful I didn't need to translate so much haha. The food was hot and full of flavor. They gave us multiple tasters on the house as it was our first time there and the atmosphere was very nice for photos. We got to speak and meet the Xyomara the manager and I believe another possible manager who I did not get his name that brought us the check. This place is really cool. Great atmosphere, reasonable prices, and friendly service despite a slight language barrier. We ordered beers, shots, lots of food and a dessert to go. Brocheta de Camaron 3 salsas was delicious, although I wasn't a fan of the veggies that came with it (could tell they were frozen, not fresh). Marlin taco was so good. Crab tostada also tasted great. Shrimp tacos were ok; breaded which isn't my preference. Prefer fresh shrimp with no breading. Chocolate cake- muy rico! The bathroom sinks are so cool; stone sinks with water that pours out of a large shell. Lots of TVs that were showing World Cup games. There's also a kids room, where little ones can play with toys, watch tv and not scream in the restaurant, ha! One strange thing was that every time someone came to our table, it was a different person. Hard to tell who was our server because it was never the same guy. Probably 5 different people. Either way, each one was very friendly and good to us. The female manager came by to check on us and see how things were... very nice. I'd recommend this place to anyone considering it and would visit again if I'm lucky enough to visit Cancun again. read more

From the warm welcome from the staff, to the restaurant manager Seomara welcoming us with the delicious mint lemonade to the cleanliness of the restaurant, and of course the FOOD! It was all beyond amazing! Jorge cooked a few of the chosen dishes right at our table and everything was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. We went here a few days ago in Playa Del Carmen off 5th Avenida. The octopus was pretty good, however the sides were terrible. A tiny bit of white rice and terrible frozen vegetables. No flavor on rice or sides. My daughter ordered the stuffed crabs and she sat there picking shells out of every bite. She did enjoy the flavor, but the shells were upsetting. She also had the same white rice with frozen flavorless vegetables. I was expecting authentic Mexican flavors and I got dull. I don't know if we would return. There are such great other restaurants on 5th avenue. read more

Very noisy place with poor food at reasonable prices. Octopus was chewy, ceviche had way too much lemon, pescadillas were super salty, everything was very rough. Shrimp tacos were the only dish we enjoyed. I would not recommend this place at all. read more
