However there was a waitress that was wearing a shirt that said "Kathy". She wasn't our waitress, but she gave us the bill at the end because our waitress was busy. The bill was around 600 pesos and we paid 1,000 pesos in cash. She took our money and never gave back any change. For the next 15 minutes we tried to get her attention and she pretended that she didn't see us, and just ignored us. We got our original waitress back and she quickly got us the correct change. She is super great and nice. Make her the manager and fire the Kathy waitress. As a frequent traveler, I have easily tipped up to 1,000 pesos for good service, but this was downright scammy and made us feel so grossed out by this behavior. She said she UNDERSTOOD I couldn't missed my shuttle for my trip and it would be fast!! By 8:30, my shuttle had arrived and I had to leave. I told the bartender I can't wait any longer and had to leave, she asked would I be coming back tonight after my excursion. I told her I would. When I came back at almost 9pm, I had to go back and forth with the manager about what happened. He said he understood about catching the shuttle and he had to make a call to his boss. After 45minutes of waiting and going back and forth, he said his boss checked the camera and I left even after waiting half an hour for 2 burritos, so I get no refund and no burritos!! I think I figured it out. If you sort the reviews by a new newest first, the most recent review is more than a year old. This is my attempt to perhaps help others looking for a good seafood restaurant in Cancun that is not a tourist trap. BTW, this again is in a residential area and the only way to park here is to utilize their valet parking, which was reasonably priced. The best part of my experience was the fish swimming around outside.
