What a great find we happened upon today for lunch! They have a small outside bar that was VERY well stocked with premium spirits and manned by Francisco who provided excellent service. We went here primarily because they accept credit cards, something that has become a rarity on the island, even though they charge 5%, it was well worth it. Francisco made us a couple of Red Sangrias to start which were done very well, not too sweet and with a bit of spice. We ordered the classic nachos which were way more than we expected and quite enjoyable. The chef was working on a new Caprese appetizer and sent an order out for us to try and it was outstanding, something I would definitely order. I had the Chicken Tacos which came with a spicy Salsa Verde and sour cream...tasty. My wife had the Mac & Cheese with Chicken which was outstanding with a nice garlic cream sauce. Francisco was outstanding as was Paco the Manager. Thank you guys for making this a great experience, best food we've had on Isla Mujeres!

A great outdoor spot for dining for breakfast, we had delicious chilaquiles, everything was priced well, with kind service. The combo is a great deal worth the money where you can get a side and drink for a few extra pesos.

Yum! What a great place to grab a bite to eat after an exhausting walk through Mercado 28. My sister and I each had two tacos with a side of rice and beans. We were full after visiting here! We were hoping that there were free chips and salsa (something we have just been used to living in the US) and this place came through for us! Things to know about this place. It is not fancy. Everyone gets the same iced tea to drink. Some of those sauces are very spicy if you are a gringo like me. Cheap eats compared to the hotel zone.

Food, people, music, atmosphere, top notch! Best restaurant on the island! The ceviche was amazing!

Everything was so good from here! Very clean with wonderful attentive service. We also had cafe de olla and their agua frescas that are also so delicious.

Parking was a bit confusing, but this was an excellent first place to stop in for tacos when we arrived in Cancún. The food was tasty, the servers were happy to help, and best of all, it was cheap!

Highest quality of Mexican food I've had in a while. This place isn't necessarily fancy and doesn't have to be. This is 100% quality food and has such a home style taste. 10/10 for the chilaquiles verdes de pollo and their complete combo comes with an amazing sopa de tortilla, rice & agua de jamaica. The portion of the chilaquiles was very generous that I could barely finish it but I'm sure most won't have an issue once they try it. Left with a full belly and a happy heart. "Pansa llena corazón contento." Buenísimo este lugar! Los chilaquiles verdes de pollo estaban buenísimos y a muy buen precio el combo completo. Viene con sopa de tortilla, arroz y agua de jamaica. Me encantó este lugar y la gente es muy amable. Muy recomendado.

We walked from Dubai casino to Chichen Itza Av in hopes of eating in a local pizzeria I found on Yelp, but when we arrived they were closed. So as we walked past Market Square we spotted this quaint covered open air patio taqueria. While there was a language barrier the staff was very helpful and went out of their way to answer our questions concerning the different types of taco shells on the menu. Sheri ordered two pollo con queso tacos and I order 3 chorizo con queso tacos. I forgot to tell our waiter I wanted queso on my tacos, but he quickly fixed the problem. Condiments were laid out on the table, and the waiter brought cubed boiled buttered potatoes and roasted onions and plabano peppers. We also ordered two Coca-cola ligjhts (served in a glass bottle). The food was delicious. I really liked that they service the side dishes family style. All total our tab / check was $155 pesos. Also they have free Wi-Fi, you just need to ask for the password. We're very happy we stopped in!

The food here is so good! We got a gringa (which is a quesadilla) and tacos. You can't go wrong! Agua de Jamaica was on point. We were too hungry and devour our food so we didn't get a picture haha, only of our guacamole. If you decide to go after 6 pm make sure you bring mosquito repellent. Those suckers will get you!

The 'chicken fajita salad'. Comes with agua Fresca, soup, and a little chocolate marshmallow dessert for $3.5 USD

Came here today specifically for tacos as the name indicates they have them but unfortunately they only sell tacos after 6pm :( I was definitely disappointed about that. With that said, this place is SUPER cheap. They give you a lot of food for very little price and the taste is solid so I can't complain too much. I just wish they had the tacos that their name features. I ordered a fajita salad but it was really just grilled chicken on iceberg lettuce with tomatoes and cucumbers. Again, for the price it's okay but I would be more disappointed if the price was higher.

Wow, was it beautiful! Our waiter suggested the Cadillac margarita and blueberry mojito. That was the best mojito I have EVER had. We were more and more impressed with every bite. The bread for the table was so light and delicious. With butter that was the perfect temp to spread. So good! We started with a lobster bisque and Caesar salad, that was made table side for us... he put real effort into that Caesar salad and man, you could tell! We always order to share so for the main course we went with the seafood fettuccine and the ribeye steak. So delicious. And we couldn't get over how affordable our meal was! I am so happy we found this place! What an amazing evening. We will be bringing the whole family back the night before we leave our Cancun vacation

Because this…read moreplace serves authentic Mexican food that is delicious and cheap and there is nothing better than that combination! I kind of stumbled upon this place while walking around looking for trinkets and souvenirs to bring back home. They do have staff standing in front of the restaurant to usher you in but they are not pushy, which is very nice. They are bilingual here and the owner actually spent time chatting me up before he left. The jokes were nice and welcoming. The menu is extensive and I want to say everything is available on the menu at whatever time you choose to dine. I ordered a pina colada. You get fresh tortilla chips and salsa when you sit down. They were very tasty. I ended up ordering the shrimp soup and i didn't expect it to be anything special but what I received was piping hot, spicy soup chock full of shrimp and served with limes and fresh corn tortillas. The shrimp did have the peel on it but that wasn't off putting to me because they were cooked PERFECTLY!!! Such a great place and cheap too! The music they played was great as well. I shall be back!

Situated right in the welcoming front of Central Cancun, its as authentic Mexican as you can get anywhere in mexico. Order anything here and they'll truly amaze you with the vibrant flavors of real mexico. They have tables, a roof to protect you from the elements, chairs to sit on and beer to drink on. Life is great when you're really dining real local mexican. Two of us shared a medium cevice and the flank steak taco plate. Wash that down with two SOL with lime and salt... HELL YEA!!
