Mixed Salad with Asado...or should I say Asado with a mixed salad.......good eats...lll

I cant complain..this place.was very.good. attentive servers, ambience is cool and relaxed. Not even close to the price for last bite but het very good dinner

Baby goat and beef rib

Fantastic baby goat and beef rib combo The goat was better than the rib. If you're picking this combo ask for another cut of beef than the rib. Paired with a nice Malbec, it was a great last meal in Buenos Aires

Minutes walk from the Sheraton. Typical Argentinian grill. Very satisfied. Will be back next weekend. Beer was ice cold too. I had the 1/2 portion of ribs and a caprese salad. Home run.

Sirloin steak and mashed potatoes

Where can I go for supper being a gringo with very little knowledge of Spanish? This looked like a good place. The menu outside was both in Spanish and English which I appreciated. This place is a very old Classic Argentina steakhouse. You have the white tablecloths and a very rustic decor. All of the menu items are ordered al la carte so don't forget your sides when ordering. They have a very good selection of wines here that will complement any meat choice that you make. I had the sirloin steak and it was cooked to perfection. A very nice pink in the middle and seared on the outside. The mashed potatoes were ok but not great. A very excellent experience. I would recommend it to anyone staying nearby.

The parrilla

First evening in Buenos Aires and in pursuit of an authentic Argentinian steakhouse. Yelped a lot of places and realized there is no shortage of steakhouses with reasonably good ratings. From my hotel room I had a clear view of this restaurant and it was only a 5 minute walk. Am I glad I chose this place. As soon as I was given the menu it was apparent that this was just the place I had in mind. Not too fancy but all the trappings of a place that gives you confidence that the food is gonna be authentic. This place is a parrilla (a typical Argentinian grill) and almost any meat is grilled here. I was delighted to see that the menu, an extensive one at that, prominently featured "tripas" (innards). While growing up I had acquired a taste for organs: brain, liver, kidneys, tripe, etc. So naturally I ordered grilled veal kidney prepared very simply with just salt in one centimeter thick slices. Heaven on earth. Good eating to end first day in Argentina.

Went here for team lunch and had a wonderful time. The staff was very nice and the restaurant is accommodating for vegans and vegetarians. We ordered empanadas (chicken and cheese), meatballs, creamy rice, grilled veggies, baked potatoes, flan, and this pancake dessert. The coffee was also delicious and some of the team members noted it's one of the most delicious empanadas that they've had. Highly recommended!

If you're staying in the area and would like to experience an Argentinian dinner, look no further. Quite authentic, with good food and decent service at an affordable price. The wine prices are on the higher side, so choose carefully. Don't expect fine dining, it's rather like an upscale diner atmosphere, but it's good and the food is excellent. My wife and I shared the beef lomos (tenderloin) with a few delicious side dishes and tried the traditional Argentinian drink Fernet with Coke - interesting, try it if you're brave! The steak was absolutely delicious! We left completely satisfied and would return in the future!

Traditional, delicious parrillada for an affordable price, highly recommendable. I visited this place with a coworker, we were delighted by the quality of the meat served, and the great service provided by the staff, always staying around to see if you need something. I was not a fan of their bread, it was hard like if it was from a day ago, not fresh. They are also missing a nice dip or at least butter to be served with the bread. I highly recommend this place, I am coming back this week before leaving Argentina.

I ordered the Cordero Patagonico. I have had it before at other establishments in the Puerto Madero area. Here, it was all fat. One of the worst meals I have ever eaten, and I'm not picky, at all. Nice view. Service was good, but due to lousy meal, I will not return.

Nicolas the Great!

We had great steaks at Las Nazarenas in Buenos Aires and nice conversations and super excellent service by English-speaking Nicolas Medina. Thank you so much, Nicolas. It made our night! Best wishes from your 4 friends from Canada.

Old school steak house (actually more like "meat house") all the way. I thought about getting the goat and was a little disappointed I didn't order the skirt steak. A friend has been coming here for 20 years and recommends it highly. Las Nazarenas has a vibe that says it will be around for 20 more years and beyond. White table clothes but the chairs and decor are Western rustic (picture saddles and rawhide scattered around). All gentlemen servers add to the "We don't change much because we don't have to." sense of the place." I love places like this. Plus, my ojo de bife (ribeye) was done perfectly - served on a plate by itself - papas fritas à la carte.

The best part is that this is a locals restaurant, and it has such a great feel. The minute you walk inm you are welcomed by a friendly staff and led to a table, we chose upstairs and were quickly seated. Our waiter was friendly and jovial, and spoke great english. He recommended a Malbec, and then we ordered a bunch of food, which came quickly. As we dined, the placed filled up quickly, and looking around, there was not an empty table in the place- upstairs or down. The restaurnat has an Italian family feel, white table cloths and worn, but classy china. Plus the grill is amazing. The portions here are massive. And that's coming from someone who can usually put away a pretty serious steak. Here, though It's a lot even for me. Was it good Absolutely. But a little heads-up if you're visiting: learn how Argentinians order their meat. If you ask for jugoso, it'll land somewhere between rare and medium rare. Al punto is closer to medium, sometimes even leaning toward medium well depending on the kitchen. And well done. Honestly... don't even think about it. Another tip: don't rush to order sides. Unless you're just getting a salad or you're sharing with more than two people, one plate is usually more than enough. Around here, they believe in feeding you properly and they definitely deliver.

While this place has been here since 1962, the first time I came was in 1993. I love it here because it is a classic, old-school restaurant, between the decor, the waiters and the grill as you walk in. The service has gone downhill a bit over the last couple of years, but I find that if you connect with your waiter when you finally get him to your table, he will check on you more often. They have a great wine list as well. The steaks are some of the best I have had, and I love that they bring your steak on a steel plate over a charcoal fire- do not let them take the grill- I love putting the fat on there to render away and then ladle it over my steak- so much better than butter! The fries are to die for, as is the Morcilla- so good and creamy- if you like that! I am usually too full for dessert, but I recently had their ice cream- so good and creamy!

This was my first time here but my mom has dined here before when she visited. Our server was a nice gentleman and older. I did a house red and the server gave me a generous pour; it was deliciously smooth. My mom ordered grilled chicken (it was a huge portion) and a side salad (also pretty large portion). I ordered beef and chicken empanadas. I preferred the beef over the chicken but both were really tasty. The pastry was nice a flaky and the filling inside moist and flavorful. We showed up at 7 and by 8:30 the place was packed and people were going to the upstairs dinign area. This is a beautiful restaurant with an incredible aura about it. We came here so my husband could try the steak so tender, it's ceremoniously cut with a spoon. I'm not a big time meat eater, so I had the provolneta (too salty and charred) and some pasta with tomato sauce. The food was okay, but the prices were ridiculous. We skipped desert, partly because the prices on the deserts were more than some of the entrees. A big red flag. One of the things we did not appreciate was this awkward moment when it seemed like they were trying to give us alcohol we didn't order. Neither my husband or I drinks, so we had to explain that we didn't want it. The spaghetti I ordered was bare bones pasta with tomato sauce. I was really expecting a more elevated dish for the prices we paid. My husband said his steak was good, but definitely not worth the hype this place has. While the soccer memorabilia was fun to look at, the weirdness of the meal and this constant feeling that we were going to be charged for things we didn't want or the surreptitious way the desert was more expensive than some entrees really kept us on our guard. I would steer clear of this place. We had many enjoyable and wonderful dining experiences in BA and this one was a total outlier. Not worth the stress for sure.
