Our favorite time to visit is Sunday brunch, especially since they have a special menu. We recently came for Father's Day, and even though Julio was celebrating as a father himself, he was working incredibly hard to make sure every guest had a great experience. You can really see how much heart and dedication he pours into his business. As expected on Father's Day, there was a bit of a wait, especially since we were a larger party, but none of us minded. To thank us for our patience, Julio generously brought out croquetas for the table on the house, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I can't recommend Trigo Café enough. The food is consistently excellent, the service is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels like home. While brunch is our favorite, their lunch and dinner are just as great, and the new tapas and wine area they recently added is a fantastic addition. If you haven't been, you're missing out!

I stopped by after the lunch rush to have a hialeah heat sandwich was the perfect version of typical cuban sandwich with a kick. I loved the touch of spicy in my sandwich. I also had a cafe bom bom that was really good. Loved the condensed milk. The girl who served me was very attentive to me when I visited and helped me with any questions i had; made me feel very welcomed. When i couldn't finish my coffee she packed it up for me in a to go cup.

We had Sunday brunch at La Boulangerie in Doral and I'm still thinking about it…read more The place is adorable -- a modern-vintage vibe that honestly made me feel like I'd stepped into a little café in Amsterdam. Super cozy but still bright and stylish. We ordered the brioche chicken sandwich and... wow. I don't even like chicken (I was just planning to try a bite from my husband's), but it was out of this world. I kept going back for more -- the brioche was soft and buttery and everything together was just chef's kiss. Absolutely divine. The cappuccino was also perfectly made with a special touch -- you can tell they really care about their coffee. But the real highlight of our visit was our waitress, Alexa. She was so warm, sweet, and genuinely helpful -- the kind of person who makes you feel like you're being taken care of by a friend, not just a server. If you visit, ask for her... you'll understand We'll definitely be back!

I really don't like leaving negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing…read more After being seated at La Boulangerie in Doral, I waited over 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging us or taking our order. During that time, several staff members were standing around talking and laughing among themselves while customers were left waiting. I understand places get busy, but a simple "We'll be with you shortly" would have gone a long way. Instead, there was no acknowledgment and no sense of urgency. After sitting there with no service, I ended up leaving. I hope this was just an off day, because better communication and customer attention would make a big difference.

Versailles is a Miami staple for a reason. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this iconic…read morespot belongs on your must-try list. The menu is extensive, offering so many authentic Cuban favorites that it can be hard to decide what to order. I've been here multiple times, and honestly, I haven't had a single dish that I didn't enjoy. Everything I've tried has been flavorful, satisfying, and worth coming back for. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating, so even though it's popular, it does a great job accommodating guests. The lively atmosphere adds to the overall experience and gives you a true taste of Miami's Cuban culture. Don't leave without stopping by the bakery next door! It's the perfect way to end your meal, with an incredible selection of pastries, desserts, coffee, and other sweet treats. Even if you're already full, it's worth grabbing something to enjoy later. Great food, generous portions, a rich history, and an authentic atmosphere--Versailles continues to be one of my favorite places to visit whenever I'm in Miami.

As you're waiting outside, there is a bar and cafe/bakery that you can get some drinks and pastries. We ended up getting original mojitos. It was really good and refreshing in the middle of the day. We came here for lunch in the middle of the afternoon on a Friday. The service and food were all great. I would definitely take family that are visiting here. It was clean inside. The bathroom can be improved by adding more stalls.
