We had these treats: Lucuma-chocolate cheesecake -- not too sweet, either flavor/layer; this is just a smooth caramel flavor derived from the lucuma fruit plus the real chocolate layers. Lucuma milkshake -- not too sweet, just a creamy caramel-flavor profile again derived from, counterintuitively, a fruit. Arroz con leche / rice pudding -- delicious, creamy, and a little thin compared to the American counterpart (tends to be thicker consistency); this has cinnamon and a little bit of spiced orange. My wife said it reminded her of her mother's arroz con leche. Little box of alfajores -- we didn't try them yet. This place is 10/10 especially if you are a discerning Peruvian food eater.

Cool counter and the cook is the owner. He is a character and a big part of the experience. They have the old school baker ovens which make the best pizzas and heaters for subs. They make a huge difference on food quality. It might have been the best Philly Cheese sub I've ever had. Then the owner surprised us with a homemade cheesecake and carrot cake. We ended up taking 4 pieces home. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu as it was a homemade feel from a guy that knows what he is doing. I will say it was an experience but one worth trying.
