AVOID THIS PLACE! I ordered a $3.50 espresso, but they charged me $4.50 for a latte. No receipt given, so I had to ask for one, and of course, it showed a latte charge. I came in on a Wednesday around 4 pm there was maybe two people in the restaurant, I approached the register placed a water bottle on the counter when the lady working asked me if that was all? I told her no I would like to order food to which she said ok and walked away after waiting 5 min for her to take my order I noticed they have a kiosk to order from. After placing my order and paying for my order the same lady tells me that multiple things in my order were unavailable, to which I responded "that's why I tried to order with you" her coworker had to explain my order to her and she still didn't understand, so the other woman took over and made my order to the best of her ability with what they had. I have ordered multiple times through delivery services and was eager to try the physical location but after the experience I won't be ordering again. I would suggest having better training and emphasize customer service considering you are in the hospitality industry. The format is the usual "make your own bowl", but unlike the regular places quinoa is among their grains. They also have different sweet peppers and tofu for those so inclined. The meat & green have been pretty fresh-tasting & they have a nice spread of condiments. Being a local from Hialeah we don't have much healthy alternatives so I swing by to this cute spot that caught my eye and order a tofu empanadas which they were out of okay so I get a chicken and spinach one. I also order a lemonade and ginger drink no ginger ! The people seemed annoyed. This place was recommended to me by a friend. The place is really cute inside and the smoothies themselves don't seem bad. I ordered a super green smoothie and when I tried it, it tasted like artificial strawberry powder. They had added strawberry protein to the shake and it was really overwhelming. My girlfriend politely asked if they could remake it because we didn't like the flavor of the protein to which one employee said sorry that they couldn't remake it. Like that's okay, we understood and just threw our smoothie away. As we were turning to leave, I don't know if it's because they didn't think we spoke Spanish ? But the employees started talking badly about us in Spanish, saying we were lying because the strawberry protein didn't have a flavor we just wanted a free smoothie and didn't know what we were talking about. So today, 3/9/2020 was the grand opening of smoothie spot in Hialeah. I was not familiar with the other locations and found out about this location via Instagram, and it said free smoothies all day long during the grand opening, so why not! lol They had two options to choose from, being the strawberry classic and the mango tango flavors. I grabbed two of the mango tango that was made with mango, pineapple and protein powder. I was only supposed to get one but the guy at the counter was nice enough to give me two so I can give my boyfriend one to try it out. It was delicious! I'm usually a banana peanut butter and chocolate kind of gal but this mango pineapple one was so good! Very refreshing as well. You know there is a problem with a business when they are unorganized. First off it took 15 minutes to order the food buffet style then 7 mins to wait to pay for the salads. Good was horrible, the lettuce got hot because of the time spent waiting on paying for it. I'll say it again, the food was horrible, the service was not impressive as well.
