Most unprofessional and rude people I have come across in residential real estate, especially David de ANDA and Eddy. They have no consideration for someone's time, David didn't even show up to the showing after setting up time, it was a no show. Even after multiple calls/ texts at the same time, never received any apology and instead calls and gets angry that how dare we see the house without him and talk to the renter/owner. We make time from our busy schedule and he is inconsiderate. Calls/texts and emails from him are so rude, I wonder how anyone does business with him. On Calling Eddy, to address my concerns about David's attitude and their zero customer service and unprofessionalism, he disregards and says we don't cater you. Do me a favor please find some other agency and agents. Don't waste your time with these people. read more

He told us everything we needed to know about buying a property and answered all our questions. I'd been a tenant of George Izquierdo's (President of Las Casas Realty long ago) for about 15 years. Over the years of my tenancy, George had mentioned several times that one of the missions of Las Casas is to help people get out of being just tenants, and into homeownership. I always felt that homeownership was unattainable for me. George kept letting me know it was not. He would tell me stories about how he started with his first home, and it was truly inspiring. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit and interest rates tanked, George gave me a call to let me know that it was a perfect time to buy. I faltered for a bit, being nervous (and frankly, scared) of taking on the responsibility that owning your own house entails. That said, George had on many times helped me out in many ways to help me save money for a down payment. I still faltered, but eventually took him up on his offer to help by getting me started with an agent. On the Yelp page, it says that George is "an artisan of a different kind... He sees a prospective buyer and sculpts until he creates a homeowner." I couldn't agree more with that statement. When the time came, George set me up with Andrew Izquierdo at Las Casas, and we started working together on finding a house for my fiancée and me. Always upbeat, eager, and positive, Andrew helped us navigate the process from start to finish. We first met with Jeremy Maresca, who works with Las Casas and was helping me out with the loan process. I was prequalified and then preapproved quickly, and was kept very well informed throughout the process. Jeremy, Andrew, and George were always available to talk and answer questions, no matter the time. My fiancée and I went to look at a variety of homes with Andrew. He never had an issue driving out far to meet us, during the week or on the weekend, and working with the sellers' agents to make the process go smoothly. He was also there to help ease my concerns and worries, and keep us sane throughout the process. Eventually my offer was accepted on a house, and then we closed escrow. That was an amazing thing to see, and it couldn't have happened without Las Casas Realty. Andrew and George helped me with finding local handyman and painter resources in our new area to start making the house our own. All in all, I have nothing but good things to say about Las Casas Realty, George, Andrew, and Jeremy. I was impressed and humbled by the generosity, helpfulness, and tenacity of these fine people and their company. If you are looking to buy or sell, please do contact Las Casas Realty first. They've been helping people for decades (since 1978 if I'm not mistaken). They helped me buy my first home, and they can help you too. read more

The home buying/selling process can be so stressful. You really need someone knowledgeable and experienced in your corner. If you're shopping around look no further because Las Casas Realty is one of the best! I've had the pleasure of working with most of the agents in here and they are so knowledgeable in their field. They are always on top of their game and getting their clients the best possible outcome during their transaction. With the experience they have you would have no doubts throughout your home buying (or selling) process. Being the local brokerage and around for as long as they have it's no wonder why they are the "go-to" office here in Highland park! read more

Two years ago, when we were tossed from our Highland Park home due to the landlord selling, "Mr Highland Park" was courting me with "we have affordable condos that you can afford to buy!". As the years have passed, I've watched "David" go from regular community realtor (who seemed to care), to greedy gentrifying house-flipper. He's all about pricing out long-time working families with his whole "cash for homes" deal. He doesn't care who lives in the neighborhood - unless they have $1 million to spend on a crappy flip. Either way, Highland Park is over. Can't wait to GTFO so that the haute bourgeoisie can have their little Williamsburg on the west coast. Have at it. read more

I don't write reviews unless they are deserved. I feel compelled to share the wonderful experience we had with David walking us through both the buying and selling process. David added value at every step of the process: Area expert? Check Consultative and collaborative? Check Sensible negotiator? Check His recommendations on our listing led to an all-cash offer well above asking. His knowledge and vision helped us to select a home with upside. His connections with contractors have ensured that we will get quality work at a fair price and that we ultimately realize value on our new property in the future. My wife and I wholeheartedly agree that it would have been nearly impossible to have found a better partner in this process. Not only does David have the knowledge to unlock value at every stage of the buying and selling process, but he's also a fundamentally good person. We found a realtor and a friend and we look forward to working with him on all of our future transactions. -Chris read more

Miguel Ribas is has been my tax prep guy for a few years now. After searching for the right tax person for many years I finally found Miguel. He is very knowledgeable in what he does. He looks out for you and helps you to obtain the best outcome possible. On top of that he is very professional and kind at the same time. I will never look for another tax person as long as I have Miguel Ribas. I recommend him to all my loved ones and recommend him to anyone that needs to file taxes. read more

I was referred to Miguel by a family member. Miguel is the best tax agent I have ever been to. I normally go to the big tax company and I even tried to do them on my own. That was the funniest thing I did because I missed several deductions. Miguel asked several questions while preparing my taxes. To me this is the first time I ever felt a tax agent cared about me and not just my business..... He helped me amend last years taxes and got an increase my refund.... Never again will I go to anyone else. I'm ready to set my appointment for next year. read more

Priscilla she is the one who help my property case. Sometimes things not going easy but all depend on willingness. She never give up my so hard case over 3 years. I am so thankful her service all time and so much satisfying. I bet you you can count on her and her office also. read more

Apparently Priscilla doesn't understand that cats poop in litter boxes and typically can't open doors... like that door she removed the doorstop from and closed. Also I wasn't surprised I wasn't getting my security deposit back and I have to say that the actual landlord explained why and there was no argument on my end. I always had a great connection with him. Now I think the carpet needed to be replaced per CA landlord and rental guidelines prior to my move-in and that taking money out of my deposit to trim an ancient avocado tree that hadn't seen a professional arborist in decades (as supported by my roommate who was getting her Masters degree in landscape architecture) was a bit much but he got no argument from me. I just thought you might want to own the fact that you locked the cats out of their one and only toilet so they defecated and urinated all over my belongings and my child's bed. read more

David De Anda was referred to me by a good friend whom he had previously helped to purchase their 1st home. In 2014 he helped me negotiate a good offer and secure a home in Highland Park! When it was time to move a few years later he advised me on how to take out an equity loan to buy my 2nd home and keep my 1st home as a rental property. He also helped me find my 2nd home in Whittier last year. Since then he has been my go-to-realtor to help with all of my tenant needs and questions. He has even advised me how to handle an early lease termination. Just this month he helped my to find new tenants for my rental property. With David you don't just get a realtor but you get a mentor who will help make your dreams come true. read more

In early 2012, I began my home buying journey by contacting several real estate agents. I asked them to find me the perfect starter home. I'm a native Angeleno and was a renter in Highland Park for 5 years. I fell in love with the neighborhood and was set on staying close-by. Many other agents told me it would be difficult to near impossible to find anything in my price range, which was quite discouraging. However, David De Anda was the only agent that encouraged me to keep looking. He said "don't worry, be patient, have faith in me and the right home will come along." He urged me to take an informative class for first-time buyers at Neighborhood Housing Services of Los Angeles (NHS) and then meet with his contact at Wells Fargo. Sure enough in early 2013, I closed on my very first home. Not only did he find me a craftsman in my price range but he also helped me obtain 30k toward my loan! The certificate from NHS qualified me for funds through a Wells Fargo first-time buyer program. I have referred him to many friends and they have also been amazed at his ability to match them with the right home. I highly recommend David De Anda to anyone looking to buy, sell, or rent a home. -Veronica read more

We worked with Priscilla Gonzales. She is a level headed person and always has the best interests of her clients in mind. Priscilla showed us the type of house that was good for us. Her vision for the future and advice for the present has proved to be spot on. Highly Recommended! read more

Warning! Do not waste your time with David De Anda from Las Casas Realty inc. This agent is very unprofessional and extremely unreliable. I've been trying to lease a property that he is representing and it is almost impossible to get a response from him, all I get is excuses. The only time that I got a reply within a reasonable timeframe was on my initial contact but every other time that I needed to get an update on the status of my application it was almost impossible. I had to contact other people in his office in order to be able to speak to him regarding my application. He kept telling me that he will call me back, but never did on multiple occasions, he kept saying that he was waiting to hear from the owner of the house but when I finally spoke to the owner of the house it also seemed like the owner was having a difficult time getting David to do things within a reasonable timeframe. My overall experience dealing with David De Anda was extremely frustrating and I would not recommend his services. David lacks basic communication skills and respect for other peoples time. If you value any of those two things then I would recommend you go somewhere else if you have the opportunity to do so. I saw a few other negative reviews online about David De Anda from Las Casas Realty and thought that maybe it was an isolated incident with the other people that had communication issues but after dealing with him for almost 2 weeks I can confirm that he indeed is a headache to work with. I rarely bother with reviews on Yelp but had to stop and say a few things about my real estate agent Priscilla Gonzalez. She help me sell my first home. I found her through word of mouth from my neighbor. Prior to meeting with her I had already met with two other agents from different companies and was not left with a positive vibe. After a gentle nudge from my neighbors I decided to meet with her. It was a consultation. She listened to me. Discussed different options and I NEVER felt pressured to give her my business. THAT was the best part. She worked so hard and always kept me in the loop. Her calm demeanor diffused moments of stress and her persistence never wavered. She sold my home AND helped me find a rental after the sale. Love Priscilla and looked forward to having her help me find the perfect home when I'm ready to buy again! read more

My husband and I bought and sold a home in Simi Valley a few years ago with Las Casas Realty. Our agent was Priscilla Gonzales. She is fantastic!! She is a woman of her word. When she says she is going to do something, she does it. She is prompt and on time, and if ever plans changed, she would let us know way in advance. She definitely went the extra mile to help us sell our home and find a new one. It was a very smooth process. Priscilla is professional and personable. We could not have asked for better! We have since moved out of the area and used other realtors. We can say with confidence that or dealings with Priscilla Gonzales and Las Casas Realty was the best home buying and selling experience we have ever had! Thank you Priscilla!! read more

I have used Las Casas Realty in several occasions to purchase different types of properties, my experience with George, the owner has been extremely positive. He is very knowledgeable, honest and caring and goes out of his way to help you find the best deal possible. I understand he has over 30 years experience in the Real Estate business and has received multiple awards for his contributions to the community and service to his clients. Too bad that a couple of people had a negative experience with agents. It is my understanding that Las Casas does not get involved in the rental and leasing of properties but since agents are independent contractors with their own license, they are free to engage in those activities, not necessarily representing Las Casas. I highly recommend this office for your Real Estate needs. read more

Due to a new job position in the Inland Empire, we had to sell our home in Highland Park and move to Corona. The agent who originally sold us our property in Highland Park 10 years ago was Mario Silva and the service and professionalism that he gave us was beyond measure, so naturally we looked to him to sell our house while we looked for a new place in Corona. We came to him after so many years since we last worked with him and he automatically remembered us and treated us as if we were long lost family members than just another client. Not only was he able to sell our home in record time and for an amazing price, he also found us our current home in Corona. He made the stressful process of selling and purchasing real estate very easy. His years of knowledge in the industry and attention to customer service is something that we will always appreciate. Mr. Silva is a tough advocate for his sellers/buyers and delivers the best for his clients. Thank you Mr. Silva we will definitely use you again! read more
