    Single carne asada super taco.
    Olivia L.

Traveling in NorCal has not been good for any taco cravings until this place. It was amazing. I had a carne asada super taco. It was perfect. Fresh, with guacamole and lemon/lime on the plate. One taco was enough for a whole meal. Very friendly service, and a really nice little market with fresh meats, veggies and fruits. Other patrons were eating inside and out, their portions were just a large. This will be a go to moving forward. I can't wait to try all the other items on the menu. High quality at a great value!

Gigantic burrito, Mexican Fanta, and fresh guacamole!

Awesome little Mexican Market, with tons of products you don't see everyday. Employees were super friendly, we had no problem ordering at the counter before we paid. These burritos are massive! It had to be nearly 4 pounds! I loved my Al Pastor, my wife liked her Carne Asada as well! Their guacamole was fresh, and they hooked us up with several tubs of different types of salsa. Lots of Mexican Sodas to pick from, and a wide selection of Jarritos too. If you want to make your own meats at home they have a meat market with cuts of meat you won't find at a major supermarket. A great experience all the way around. We'll be back!

It's huge! 17" and 3.6 lbs! For $16! I stopped in on a Saturday as I was craving a burrito. Other yelpers said it was pretty good. It's inside a market that also does fried chicken. I ordered the $14 California burrito with carne asada. I figured it would be big but when I looked over the counter I saw two flour tortillas with a mountain of filling in it! The skilled taquero rolled it and handed it to me. I laughed when I felt the weight. I brought it home and cut it in half. Pretty good fillings and taste. Value for your money is off the charts.

Apparently this has take over Fortuna Market https://www.yelp.com/biz/fortuna-market-mountain-view-5 It's a taqueria within a grocery store. The tacos were excellent. There is plenty of outside seating.

I was disappointed that they were out of lengua since I'm not typically a fan of the other meats. The times I've had asada, it's usually dry, but I ordered it anyway not knowing what else to get and holy smokes was it good! It was so tender and flavorful that it changed my entire opinion of asada. It's really that good! Their chips were crispy and not stale and I just love their self serve salsas. It's usually a hit or miss at Mexican Restaurants, but it's great here! Unfortunately, it seemed like the employee did not want to be there and I felt a bit uncomfortable but the food well makes up for it.

Review of the items I got: -Asada Fries: was hoping to get something similar to what I'm used to in SoCal. I got mine with Carnitas and no pics de gallo. Generally in SoCal we don't put pico de gallo on ours. Although this did not taste like the SoCal kind(that classic so heavy and rich heart attack flavor), it was still awesome. It had all the otherwise same ingredients, slightly less cheese but a more good quality type of cheese, but still was missing the heart attack flavor. The flavor was still with the same depth, just not heavy/greasy sensation on the stomach and taste buds. I think its because as I noted everything is literally made same day and even the fries they do fresh. The carnitas were also very juicy and overall the portion for everything was very large. I will get this again def. -birria taco: i like that they dont overcharge on these and again the fresh aspect is really good. -flan: better than most I've had. Very smooth and just right amount of sweetness. -Jamaica: Im very excited to say they do make the real Jamaica with the flowers themselves. They do not use the powder a lot of places do. It tasted perfect and not overly sweet so yeah I loved it. One mistake I made was I got so starstruck by the freshness and care of the ingredients that I didnt grab any salsas to try. Next time I'll do such so I can see if they have a super spicy one to my liking. Last note: the service was excellent. Everyone polite and helpful.

Each taco was $3.75 so really good price for the bay area. I grabbed all three salsas as well. The carnitas taco as a whole, eaten properly with a lime squeeze and the salsa was really good. I loved it. The salsa paired perfectly with the carnitas and was actually spicy like it should be. The tortillas also where actually heated through too. The carnitas alone. Good tasting, but not as moist as it should be. I suspect either A. After chopping they didnt mix a little of the juices or B. They didnt cook it long enough in the lard & beer, or C. They didn't use lard. I'm very happy though that they did the more common fat/oil cook method vs. The orange juice etc. method that IMO isnt as good tasting. Regardless it went so well with the salsa and the salsa was so fantastic they still get a bay area 5/5 and a San Diego/TJ/Mexicali 4/5.
