She was able to support me with my questions and quickly sent a driver my way. Jeremy took great care of my vehicle, helped me get to my ride safely, and delivered my car swiftly to the auto shop. Larry's Towing is professional, ready when you need them, and a good value at about $100 total for their help. I would definitely use their services again... but I hope I don't have to! read more

Unsafe Aggressive Driving! Do not entrust the safety of your vehicle to them. I was on the road on a winter storm and passed multiple vehicles slid all over the road even passing an accident with an ambulance present. Shortly after passing the ambulance I exiting the freeway. I've been driving on snowy UT roads for 30 years and was driving an appropriate speed for the conditions - probably too fast for an inexperienced driver. Suddenly in my review mirror I see a large truck barreling towards me. It then tailgates me aggressive. If anything had gone wrong where my vehicle had slid in the ice or I had to respond to another issue on the road he would not have been able to avoid hitting me. After exiting the ramp he pulled next to me at a red light and I was able to see that it was a Larry's Towing Tow Truck. When I called in the operator's tone of voice indicated they were well aware there were issues with this driver. Don't entrust your car to these people!! read more

Awesome service. My kids were stuck 60 miles South of Price at 9PM. They went pick them up and towed them all the way to Layton. The bill wasn't an outrageous price for the miles they had to travel. Yesterday while hauling home from a horse show we had a tire blow on the trailer. It was 104 degrees out and my horse was in the trailer. Guess I had some good karma built up because a gentlemen from Larry's Towing just happened to pass by--apparently helping someone else in my same situation. He stopped, pulled me out, and wouldn't let me pay him for the service. Oh man, our engine blew out going 80 down the interstate. We were tired and on our way back from a climbing trip. We had an 8 year old in the back and we were just utterly depressed. I called larrys towing because of the rating on yelp and We couldn't have asked for better. The best driver ever, i can't remember his name (he was originally german and had been in the parachuting team in the army and had the newest tow truck in the fleet). He showed up only about half an hour after we called with cold bottles of water for the three of us. It was peak heat and we were stranded. It was very much appreciated. He loaded us up and we all got into his truck. We all had a nice chat home, and despite the fact that towing is expensive, it really wasn't as bad as we expected! We definitely would have preferred to not need a tow, but having been in the situation anyway, it couldn't have gone any better. Thank you all so much! Larry's was the company that came to tow us, and they really bent over backwards trying to find ways to work with the rental company to get us on the road faster. Especially in the Provo/Orem area, towing companies have pretty bad reputations. Larry's Towing from top to bottom is run by genuinely great people. They offer incredible service, they are fast and friendly. They aren't in the business to make money off of people but to help people who really need it! We got stuck deep in snow halfway up a 4x4 trail in Provo Canyon and Larry spent hours and hours trying to get up there and get us out when no other company would even try, they all told us "Just call Larry.". The price we were charged was significantly cheaper than anything I could have expected. read more

Where to start... I guess at the beginning. My partner and I got stuck on a very wide, very structured and well used gravel road 5 miles down from the highway, now when you're on a gravel road, tow trucks will not come get you without an extra (hefty) fee, and even then sometimes will not come at all. We tried going back and fourth with AAA for upwards of 5 hours before we finally called Larys towing directly. We were beyond elated to hear that they knew where we were and would be coming to get us in two hours. We talked with James at the front desk and he was very kind. 3 hours later, we hear nothing so we call back. James assured us he would call his driver and then call us back, so we wait another two hours and nothing. Now we're in the desert and it's past dark and we're tired and hungry so we call him back. Sounding pretty annoyed he tells us the exact same thing "let me call my driver and I'll call you right back with a progress report" and we wait another hour and nothing. This happens four times until finally we give up and just wait (with no other options as AAA gave up on us) after 6 hours of waiting on them William (the driver) shows up at a little after 2 am. Now we'd been waiting a total of eleven hours and we're just greatful that anyone came at all regardless of how long it took. We were told that Will would only be able to drive the road at five miles an hour because it's gravel, which is fair after all, I'm not a tow truck driver, I don't know what they can and can't handle. Thinking we were saved by this company lasted a couple minutes. Little did we know this nightmare had just started! I know this is a novel but bare with me, you need to know what this company does. Will loads up our truck and we hop into the cab with him, he's stoned out of his mind and proceeds to speed down this gravel road at 50 miles an hours, fish tailing, sliding, and taking a corner so sharp we actually slide off the road and he barely stops in time to regain the truck (with our truck loaded on his trailer, mind you) once we get to the highway he leans from lane to lane and without care of turn signals or other drivers, falling asleep at the wheel, getting honked at, stopping at green lights, driving through red ones. My partner and I had to direct him, correct his driving, and remind him to stop, go etc... After arguing with us and trying to drop our truck off at the wrong shop, we finally get to the right one. Now he wants cash for the transaction and it's 3:30 in the am and we have never been to this area before. Also who carries that much cash? he finally agrees to take card. Thinking the worst is over we part ways and leave our truck at the shop over night. The next morning we get a call saying our card won't go through, so we try again. Nope. So we give her another one. Nope. And another card still, nope. It's early in the am and we've had 2 hours of sleep, so we tell the receptionist we will come by and pay in person as soon as they put tires on our truck, she says "no problem just be here before 6pm" we get a call from the tow truck driver 5 minutes after we get off the phone with the receptionist trying to muscle us for the money, we explain we're good for it and tell him the conversation we just had and he says "oh okay". we check our cards, make other purchases and find out that they're fine, So all is good. About ten minutes after that we get a call from the shop where our truck was going to be serviced informing us that the tow company is there damanding our keys trying to take our truck, so we call Larys towing in a panac asking why that is and the only explanation we get is "sorry our boss changed his mind because he's an old grumpy jerk" same thing Will kept saying while we rode with him the night before. Luckily this amazing shop had our backs and didnt hand over the keys while we raced down there (had to call a Lyft and pull out cash since they changed their mind). When we get there we hear that the tow truck company had been slandering us to the shop and telling them we're horrible liars, our money's no good yada yada yada. So we show up and hand the tow truck driver (a different guy that was actually much nicer) the money. Asking him what happened he just looked imbarrassed and said "yeah I'm really sorry you guys, our boss is just a grumpy old asshole and he changes his mind and gets stubborn and nasty like this". We payed up front with this mechanic shop to prove there was nothing wrong with our word or our money. The only thing that happened is their receptionist was too incompetent to run our cards properly. And apperently, as told by three employees, their boss is an asshole. This is an honest recollection of what happened and without the guys at the shop being decent human beings and not letting this Larys towing steal our truck after telling us we had time to come pay in person, we would have been cheated out of even more money than they already took. read more

If I could give this company a 0 star I would.. they all seem super cool when I started working for them until i was working 90+ hours a week for 500-600 bucks a week. I wasn't even making minimum wage for the hours They were working me, they offer no sort of benefits.. They run there drivers to the ground plus some and don't care if they work you 24+ hours a day. Larry, I thought was a good guy until I went in to give him my two weeks. He decided to have a mental break down because I was leaving. I was trying to be nice and give him two weeks notice to help him find a new driver. To help him out while I waited to start my other job. I told my other job up front I love what I do now I just can't make ends meet with the pay. Told my new employer even though I know I could make more here I at least needed to do the right thing and give my current job a two week notice. Couple days later I went in to Larry and Kirsten's office the owners to explained my situation to them. They didn't care instead asked me to sign a paper stating I'd work for free for the next two weeks to pay them back for training me. I told them "no way I can afford that I'm sorry". So they freaked told me to leave and not come back. So I did. Then I thought I'd at least get my last two weeks of pay for work that I did, so pay day I called in to see if they'd give me my last check.. Larry said no because he trained me. I was disgusted I even worked my butt off for someone like that. I've never been left feeling so used, abused, chewed up and spit out I'd have to say I love a lot of people there, but owners are just beyond messed up. They don't care about anyone, but themselves. The only way to reason with the owner is to turn them into labor and commission. Which I did.. they said I'd get paid within 7-14 days it's lame that you have to go to that extent just to be able to pay your bills. Hands down worst company ever to work for! Your co workers are amazing, but owners will do anything and everything possible to screw you over, so you'll stay there and work. They can't keep any drivers because they pay them 500-600 bucks and expect them to work 90+ hours a week.. the money doesn't add up to the hours you work!
