Alan is his name, he works for Am/ Pm Towing service in Provo, Utah. Alan , a very go lucky happy type of fellow!!! He was amazing!!! Loaded his flatbed and on his way, he went. Even tho it was one hell of a day. He put a smile of my grumpy face!! It usually takes a lot!!! Really! Just very grateful for people like Alan, who do their job with a happy face. Our vehicle was involved in a small accident in a night where the roads were bad and several other accidents were in the vicinity. The police flagged down this tow truck without giving us an opportunity to call our insurance. No big deal, whatever, he's just doing his job trying to help everyone. The tow company did not tell us about their storage fees even though they heard us talking about how we were leaving out of town for a week in just a few hours. I was going to sell my totaled car to a junk yard but this towing company decided to hold it hostage and charge me well over what I could have sold it for and the only way they would waive these fees that I never knew about or agreed to pay is to surrender my vehicle to them so THEY can sell it to the junkyard. The lady I spoke to about this tried to blame it all on the officer for making a mess of things by flagging down the truck. I tried to explain all this and just let them know as I was collecting our things that they really should tell people about the storage charges before they haul away the vehicle and one of the employees got very snarky and first blamed it all on the police officer, and when I circled back to all I'm saying is you should tell people so they know before your store it, she said "well, life isn't free" and walked away from the conversation. Extremely rude and unprofessional. All the other employees were kind. She sucks and I do not recommend this business because you won't be able to work with them without dealing with her. read more

Incompetent. Did a AAA roadside assistance for gas. The Driver Jordan COULD NOT POUR GAS FROM 3 DIFFERENT CANS. The imbecile then asked me to drive on a empty tank to the next exit to get gas there and he would "follow me" in his tow truck- trusting in his non existent traing I did so and put air in my fuel line and destroyed my fuel pump costing 920.15 in repairs - they are dodging responsibilities for the damage to my car. I needed my car towed from Sandy to Orem. I called AM/PM and a woman answered. She put my on hold, which I can understand if your busy. I was on hold for over 5 minutes, then I was hung up on. Apparently they don't need anyone's business and are too busy to help customers. I got no return phone call after they hung up on me. I went with another towing company who has great customer service and didn't hang up on me. I would recommend if you need to tow a vehicle....DON"T CALL AM/PM! I hate to do this bad of a rating because Casey and Mark were really nice people. They were very helpful when I was in a predicament that most companies would not have looked into at all. However, when I got my car back the door handle was broken - so they said they'd pay for half and install it for me when I got the new part.... I took the new part in and left my car there with them to fix, and that night when I went to pick it up, the clutch was broken. Somehow I made it home, but now I can't even get it into 1st gear to get it to a shop. read more

I thank God for AAA and AM PM Towing ever since I've moved to this area. A couple months ago I ran out of gas (on my way to the gas station by the way) on State Street. The driver arrived 10 minutes earlier than AAA told me. He got me going and made sure my car was okay before leaving. Today as I was getting ready to run to the store we had a flat on my car. I called and a driver arrived to my apartment in about 30 minutes. He aired up the tire and advised me to get new tires as soon as possible (I was afraid of that). Super professional and friendly. I was impressed with how fast they arrived, and how well I was treated. I broke down at 300 S. and University Ave. in Provo. I called AAA to get a tow truck out. about a minute later I get a call from AM/PM to tell me that Mike is on his way and should be here in 10-20 minutes. I suspect Mike arrived after less than 10 minutes. When Mike arrive he had mt get in the cab where it is nice and warm (which was appreciated because it was less than 0*F outside). He got my car up in a couple of minutes and we went on our way. Mike asked me about the car and what the problem was. I let him know it was the alternator. He said, all considered, I was lucky it chose to die on a weekday rather than a weekend, then he told me about a family who was driving from California to Montana and had their alternator go out near Provo on a Saturday night. The only place open was PepBoys, and they said they couldn't repair it because they were closing. Mike said that it was a relatively easy fix, so he helped them replace it and got them on their way. AM/PM made my breakdown a little less painful. read more

I kind of picked out these guys based on other reviews, and then found out they had an agreement with the mechanic I was taking my son's car to. I ended up getting a really good deal on the price of the tow, and even better, they showed up exactly when they said they would and the tow truck operator was so friendly and helpful. Outstanding service. Driver was friendly, knowledgeable, personable, and skilled to say the least. My car was parked in an underground parking garage. When it became clear the truck wouldn't fit in the garage and the car would refuse to start, the driver literally pushed my car himself to the entrance of the garage and was able to tow it out without any problems. I've used these guys for my car and my son's car recently. Both times drivers arrived promptly and were very friendly.

I called them Friday afternoon for service on Saturday morning. The shop I needed my car towed to opened at 8. The guy at the tow company said they could pick up my car at 7am. Well, 7 am rolls around and no one arrives. Around 7:45 I call to see what's going on. As soon as I say " I'm waiting for a tow in Spanish Fork", the guy automatically says oh I'll get him on his way. I wait an hour for him to get to my house. We don't get to the shop until 10am. That's three hours after they said they would arrive at my house. I didn't receive an apology for being so late. I will never use this company again. Nor should you unless you have all day to wait for a tow. read more

This company is terrible. I was travel and had an alternator go out. Used AAA for towing and they used AM PM towing. The incompetence and negligence of the driving destroyed my transmission. He hooked my car up and started to pull it on the flatbed truck. He did not put it in neutral. When it started sliding rather rolling he stopped and went and put the car in neutral. With the torque on the transmission it made a loud noise as it shifted into neutral. My car ran perfectly prior to this. After having the alternator fixed my car no longer goes into reverse and drive doesn't work either. I had to drive 300 miles home in D3 at 60 mph because of course they deny all responsibility and lied saying he released the parking brake. Both my brother , father and myself saw him change gears rather than the emergency brake. Don't trust these guys. AAA will also get a terrible review about these guys. They need this contract revoked. They do not represent AAA well. They represent them poorly. read more
