The mechanics at Mitchell machined a new part and then installed it for about $20. The car saw me through commissioned officer training in the Air Force, and my young family to our first duty station on the East Coast. Top auto service! I have found my go to car mechanic…read more I had to have my alternator replaced in my 2013 Chevy Traverse. The shop I had been going to lately quoted me $1400! Said something about that to get to the alternator, they had to take out the cooling system. I got quotes from other shops using Yelps Project feature. Another shop wanted $970. Josh with Rolling Wrenches quoted me $547! Not only that, but he's mobile and would come to me so I wouldn't have to have the car towed to a shop. Well, that was a no brainer. We set the appointment for 9:00 a.m. and he was right on time. Josh showed me that he had to take out the coolant reservoir. That was all. So simple, anyone can take that out. Not sure how that equaled to $1400 worth at the other shop. The engine cover was removed, again, no biggie, and he took off the passenger front tire for better access. Swapped out the alternator, cleaned up the engine compartment a bit, put in an air freshener, and test drove the car. I'm so pleased. the car had been parked on the street for several months because I thought I had to have $1400 to fix it. We got our car back and I love it. Josh is a very pleasant, polite, and honest man. You will not go wrong with his services. Deserving of more than 5 stars. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier.
