This Chevron Gas Station is one of the last full service fuel gas stations around you can come in. They will check your oil fill your fuel tank up like the old days. They have lied to me twice about the price of a headlight bulb and a replacement oil cap. It cost me over $75. It makes me really nervous about the big repairs they said my truck needed that cost me almost $1000. I will be taking the truck to a reputable mechanic to check their work. My recommendation is to find another place for oil changes and other light repairs. I would give them zero stars if it were possible. read more

They're even kind enough to put air in my tires for me, without being asked. They are an approved testing location. But when my car failed emissions testing, the man suggested I take it out on the highway for a bit & came back straight away & voila! it passed! I love Larry's!! This week I was again reminded why I have gone here for my car repairs for over 15 years. I went to a big name shop to get my wheels aligned and asked them to check my brakes, also. When they called me to tell me my alignment was going to cost $180 instead of the $60 estimate, they told me I did need rear brakes and rotors. They quoted me a price of $480. After a little thought I decided to get a quote from Larry's for my brakes. They quoted me $250, got me in that afternoon, finished before 5 and charged me $250! I worked with a man named Ronson who clearly explained what needed to be done and helped find a time that would best work with my schedule. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life!! Went for a quick emissions testing with two cars in front of us. As we were waiting for our turn, a lady came out moved cones behind us blocking us in. Nobody greeted us or told us where to pay or anything. We waited over 30 minutes blocked in for our turn. When it was finally our turn, we were turned away because the lady's shift ended at two!! Mind you we were there before closing and waited patiently!!! She explained the van in front of us took longer than expected and that's why she moved the cones. Hello!! You moved the cones after we pulled up and walked right by us. Not at any given point did one person communicate anything to us, they just left us waiting then turned us away!! Didn't even apologize for the inconvenience! This review is strictly for the emissions testing part of this business. I don't understand why you can only get your vehicle tested Monday-Friday. That means customers who work a regular workweek have to take time off work to get the testing done. When I mentioned this to a worker they and they said that they only get paid a minimal amount from the state what are the tests so it wasn't worth it to have it open on the weekends. My reply was why are you testing cars at all then since you're not making any money? I feel they should be open at least part of one of the days on the weekend so customers can get this testing requirement done. Also, I feel the young man doing the testing could have been a little better on the customer service side. He definitely didn't come across as being happy being there. read more

They offer a discount for those trying to get on their feet while homeless and getting assistance from the Salvation Army shelter in town. They come highly recommended as an honest busniess. My estimate was for less than the actual cost for a tune-up but the price was still reasonable. I would recommend the mechancs for honest tune-ups. read more

One of our friends recommended us to Larry's Chevron in 2005. Our friend used to own a car towing business so she knew who did a great job and who didn't. We tried them. WOW!! We had an oil leak in our old Honda Civic and they not only fixed it, they cleaned the oil off the engine. We now have another car. We took this car to the Subaru dealer on the Blvd for a checkup & they left the Transmission Dip Stick out & under the hood of our replacement car. After smelling the oil & seeing the smoke coming out from under the hood, we opened the hood we saw the dip stick laying on the car and we put it back in. Transmission oil is all over the outside of the transmission and Catalytic Converter. It is now at Larry's Chevron to be checked out. I will NEVER let another repair place touch our cars. They do a fantastic job, along with great prices. I will highly recommend Larry's Chevron to everyone. read more
