On December 8th 2025, the rubber seal on the bottom panel caught itself in the side rail and tore completely off the door. I called for service. On December 10th the technician arrived and suggested that the failure was user error, that I had "allowed" the seal to become frozen to the ground. First, I've never heard of such a thing. Second, this is Michigan... Now, after several weeks, and several attempts to reach Jason. He texted me and said that "the manufacturer had rejected my claim"??? But, not to worry, because the garage door guy, would sell me an "aftermarket" repair for just $300.

Our garage door stopped opening or closing last night as one of the wires unspooled and…read moredisconnected. Called Terry this morning and he gave me a time of 11-1 that he would be here. He arrived at 11:30, very courteous and professional got to work right away. He figured out the tension on the spring was wrong and that's why the wire wouldn't stay put. He fixed that, he also fixed the wiring to the garage door opening mechanism that was a bit of a hack job from someone having done the installation on the door themselves. He cleaned it up for us and everything is working great! Did advise that the door likely wouldn't hold up long term (not because of his fixes, just the original cheap DIY install) He gave us a 1 year warranty on his work and the price was so so reasonable, I thought it would be much more expensive. I will definitely be calling again when we are ready to replace the door completely!
