Awesome sandwich place! Came here with a group of coworkers on the boss's treat and it was a great choice. Cute, cozy place with super friendly and happy staff which made it an even more enjoyable lunch. We ordered ahead so the food was ready by the time we arrived. I had the angry Sicilian which was huuuge (still didn't stop me from finishing it) and definitely enough for 2 meals. The meatball sub and other sandwiches looked delicious too. Turns out it was w/o tomato and was on a fluffy/thick white bread. However, it was very good with LOTS of cheese. What a find! We used to come here a lot on the deli side but haven't been in the area for while. We were actually on the way to another restaurant when the outdoor lights and flames caught our eyes so we though we would give it a try. They have outdoor seating in the front and the back and we sat in the back. Very cozy atmosphere. Well, we were really surprised when every one of our entrees turned out to be exceptionable. I had the special apricot ribs while my wife had rigatoni blanca and my daughter had the bolognese. All three were excellent and all three of us unanimously like every entree. The deserts were great too, I had the chocolate tiramisu with my daughter and my wife had the cheesecake, awesome! They had a pumpkin martini as a special drink and it was the perfect Friday-night-outdoors-on-a-cool-fall-night drink. Light and tasty. It was nice to find a place where we could sit down and have a meal while following all the Covid precautions. Service was great and the manager Andrew stopped for a chat, very nice. This could become our regular Friday night thing. We highly, highly recommend that you try this place. Andrew: Please put the apricot ribs on the regular menu! Very good! Pricey. Do you like sweet tomato sauce? If you do then go. I had the veal chop which was huge but the sauce was so sweet it just didn't work with the meat. I really hated for like almost 40.00 it was just a damn huge veal chop. Make it smaller and give me a salad or pasta for a side. I'm not the Hulk. I did go back and ordered another dish with sauce and it wasn't sweet. The meals were good. It's busy at nite and once u can't eat on the patio when the weather changes you better make reservations. The figs and apple makes it fresh, the bacon and gorgonzola add some flavor, and I added a chicken cutlet which was very crispy. The lemon basil vinaigrette is also perfect. I really hate going to an Italian restaurant that advertises themselves as being 'authentic' and then getting a sandwich that looks like it was made at Subway. This place is just that. I came here on a Wednesday night hoping to get some dinner before meeting a friend for a movie. I saw this place on Yelp and saw it had 4.5 stars so I thought it was worth a try. I walked in and the place seemed pretty pleasant. I ordered the Caprese sandwich. As I had some time to kill, I thought I would take a table, however, the few couple of tables that were opened filled very fast, so I got it to go. The sandwich tasted like it was made from Subway. The tomatoes were not fresh, the bread tasted a days old, and I got a mere sliver of chicken that was topped with an enormous amount of mozzarella. To add to this, while I was eating it in my car, a slice of mozzarella fell off and got wedged between my car seat and the door. Bottom line: don't go here. It's not worth the money you'll pay. read more

Great place to host an event!! We hosted our twins 18th Birthday dinner on their back patio and it was a perfect evening. Chiara the Manager was SO helpful planning all the details - cake, flowers and evening a personalized menu with custom "mock tails" for the kids. All the staff were so helpful and friendly to all the guests. They even handled the decorations which I dropped off before the event. They followed all the Covid regulations and so all felt safe too! We also hosted a dinner at their sister restaurant La Fina, which was just as perfect and had the same amazing customer service by Shirley and all the staff. Went in for sandwiches early one morning, and was hoping for something of the breakfast persuasion, but they open early for lunch. I had their grilled cheese with bacon and tomato, and it was really good, but would have been better if I was ready for lunch-type food at the time. Heck, if they had an egg to add to that very sandwich it would have been absolutely amazing. My wife had the chicken and eggplant parm, and the bite I had was delicious. All around a good experience, though if you go early, be ready to have early lunch. read more

service was fantastic. Nice decor. We specified a regular table in our reservation but were shown to a high top, but given the option of regular table if we wanted. The bar are is very nice, but when patrons use that door its a blast of cold air for half of the room. Drinks were done well. crab cake app was great. Pappardelle Gamberetto was very tasty, but the pesto seemed to be something other than basil. The calamari buccatini (special) was tasty, but the calamari had a weird texture. read more

My boyfriend and I had lunch here a while back and thought it was really good, but when we saw their feature on the Phantom Gourmet, we were shocked to discover that they had recently expanded their space to include a bar for late night dining. Since we live right around the corner we had to try it. The cocktails were awesome- my boyfriend said his old fashioned was one of the best he's had in the Andover area. My pear gimlet was delicious too and obviously made with really fresh ingredients. We were very tempted by the chicken parmesan pizza they have on the menu, but instead decided to sample the appetizers. We got the oven roasted chicken wings to start things off. There were 4 huge full wings soaked in truffle oil and sprinkled with romano cheese. They tasted really fresh and were piping hot. We also went for the wagu beef and short rib sliders. This is definitely something i would get again. There were only 3 sliders so it's probably not great for a party of four- but perfect to share with someone special. They were even cooked medium rare which was surprisingly delicious! There are only a few reasons this spot is not getting a perfect score. The parking was very limited right outside the restaurant but there are plenty of public lots nearby if you know where to look. The entrance was a little confusing-we weren't sure which door we should be using and to reach the bar we had to cut through a private party. Lastly the bar space was pretty small. Though the size of the space does give it a very intimate vibe, there was a couple standing and waiting for a table for a while. We were lucky to have secured a spot at the bar right before it started to get busy. All in all it was a great experience and a speakeasy vibe i would not expect to find in downtown Andover. read more

I had to burn a couple of hours between business appointments and I found it to be a great spot to eat and relax.
