LaRosa's is a beautiful intimate restaurant that caters to those dining in, whether it's a more casual or formal occasion, and takeout service. the service is always great, and the food even better. i've been here a number of times since 2016 and they are always extremely satisfying! most recently i tried their meatball sub, which was good but definitely needs to be eaten sooner than later, and the bread was slightly too burnt. the chicken caprese sandwich though? amazing! my friend also suggested we try the steak tip sandwich, which i normally would not order, and i am so glad we did! juicy, deliciously seasoned steak tips on a bed of arugula with white cheddar and roasted red peppers. phenomenal, try it! it's my new favorite. i always get at least one (if not two) pints of their tomato, mozzarella, basil pasta salad, it is sooo simple and delicious. i add a bit of olive oil + salt and pepper for perfection. meatball parm sub 7.5/10 chicken caprese sandwich 10/10 tomato mozzarella pasta 9.8/10 steak tip sandwich 10/10 whether you'd like to dine in a beautiful, romantic space or order delicious takeout, LaRosa's is the place to go. i travel out of my way for their amazing food! ambiance: 5/5 food: 4.7/5 service: 5/5 larosa's: 5/5

Chicken parmigiana

I got the chicken parmigiana with rigatoni. It usually comes with spaghetti noodles, but I highly recommend getting it with the rigatoni. It's a cute cafe with pretty close quarters, but very nice ambiance. The menu has pretty select items, they know what they're good at and keep their menu concise. They do sandwiches, but we came for dinner, but I'd like to come back to try them.

Awesome salads and sandwiches! We had a Caesar with grilled chicken, more than large enough for one so we shared it. I had an Italian sandwich, good with Italian meats and added mayo and Italian dressing. Lots of parking but the lots are also under construction so be aware, it might be a short walk.

LaRosa's is such a warm and welcoming place. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is very friendly. I ordered their specialty, the LaRosa's pasta with vodka sauce, and I would honestly go back just for that, it was that good. The portions are huge and satisfying, definitely worth it. On top of that, the drinks were amazing too. Without a doubt, this is a spectacular spot I'd highly recommend.

Drunken Chicken Parm sandwich

I'm so glad we finally got around to trying this place! I always love the *idea* of a chicken parm sandwich, but since I'm not a big red sauce fan I usually end up getting something else. Imagine my delight at seeing the Drunken Chicken Parm on their menu: Chicken parm made with vodka sauce! This was so good, and I finally felt I got to have the chicken parm experience. Our other item was the Caprese sandwich. They have this as a salad, too, so it was a hard choice but we were very happy with our sandwich. Very fresh and a relatively healthy pick. Service was quick - I placed an order with the very friendly staff and stepped next door for about 10 minutes to take care of other business. The food was ready just a few minutes after I got back despite quite a few customers. The shop is cute and has both outdoor and sidewalk tables. These looked comfortable, but it was take-out for us. Parking was easy in a nearby street space with municipal lots very nearby.

The food is delicious. It is pricy but you are paying for what you're getting. Good size servings, delicious and fresh food, in a great environment. My favorite is the godfather!

LaRosa's is the kinda place where you can choose your own adventure: order at the register and dine in, pick up/ take out, catering, etc. We couldn't decide so we split 2 sandwiches: drunken parm (chicken Parmesan with cheese and VODKA sauce on a brioche bun) and the angry Sicilian (Italian sandwich on thick toasted sandwich bread with fresh mozzarella). Although both were phenomenal, the drunken parm is way more rich and filling- so splitting THIS sandwich was the right move. We skipped their To Go espresso martinis but we'll be back the next time we're in town!

LaRosa's is a very cute and easy place to get lunch at. The food was outstanding and staff were extremely nice. I will have to come back for coffee and breakfast. Prices were good and the vibes were high. Thank you very much!

Great place for some takeout. Or a somewhat fancy night out. It's part store and restaurant which is nice to have that option. Got some pasta and a salad and it hit the spot for a light dinner. They were generous with the thick bread slices too. Would recommend.

The angry Sicilian.

French inspired drinks and food were fantastic and interesting. The French 75 menu was so interesting-- choose your flavor and your bubbles. I tried two, the classic with rosé was so pretty, and the honey lavender with base level champagne was delicious. The raw oysters were to die for! Perfect little pop of acidity with other flavors delicately added and perfectly balanced. The oysters Rockefeller were also perfectly delicious. The foie gras is not something I would normally eat, but my boyfriend loves that stuff so we went with it. I enjoyed it more than he did. It was not a classic foie gras, it was smoother with a creamier texture and more buttery flavor. Eating it with the fig jam and "light as clouds" toast made it absolutely delicious! I enjoyed every minute and mouthful--would definitely seek this place out again even though I live an hour away! We enjoyed ourselves too much to take pictures!

Neither of us had been before, and a burger sounded really good to me at that moment, so we decided to give it a try! I made a reservation about 20 minutes before we arrived. We got there early, but they seated us right away. It wasn't too busy, and we eventually moved to the bar because the seating made it easier to chat. The frozen espresso drinks immediately caught our attention. Even though it was late, we couldn't resist the sound of that. They were strong and quite tasty. We started with the fried mozzarella balls, which were nice and crispy. My friend ordered the chicken Milanese, and I went with the signature Tavern Burger. Our bartender, Luan, was very nice and attentive. Between the overall relaxed atmosphere, tasty drinks, and friendly service, it was a great spot for our casual night out. Luan told us that the menu was changing the next day and we will definitely come back to try the seasonal menu.

We sat down and we got a cocktail. I had a boulevardier and my husband had a missunderstood mule using misunderstood whiskey. We started with the oysters from Canada, Maine, and Duxbury, Massachusetts . All delicious I say skip the hot sauce and the cocktail sauce and try just a little bit of the vinegar. First three things we got were the Jimmy Nardello peppers that were stuffed with sausage and had an amazing ricotta spread that they were on top of then we also had the crab and corn beignets . The special that they had right now was the crab dip with the potato chips are only complaint that there wasn't more. We kinda liked it a lot.. Jesse was our main server, who is fantastic supported by all of the rest of the staff you would've never thought that we had a moment not being taken care of. They thought something took a little long so they brought us some dessert. It was delicious. After moving back here after 15 years away, this is one of the first restaurants we thought about going to on the regular so we can't wait to go back . No, really we're coming back Chef Michael. You're doing an amazing job.

The oysters were excellent--very fresh and flavorful--although I one of my sauce containers was empty when I got my plate. I tried one each of the six available ranging from Massachusetts to Maine to Canada and each had a unique flavor accurately described by the menu. The dinner menu is rather limited. I had the crispy halibut sandwich was okay. I wish the piece of halibut had been thicker, but it was nice and crispy without having too much batter. The fries that came with it were a bit overcooked in my opinion. If I were to come back for dinner I'd try one of the entrees instead of a sandwich. Overall pleased with my experience and I will be back!
