One of the BEST parts of the spa was the relaxation room where you go before or after your massage. It has the beautiful views and cozy feel. I say was because on this last visit certain key elements were missing: 1) they were not diffusing that magical esencia smell that was their signature, 2) no gentle music playing in the background, and 3) they removed what feels like half of their seating/lounging. The room used to have little seating areas that were cozy as singles or group and those have changed to benches.... Benches! I was so sad. They still have the 6 lounge chairs that look outside but the rest of the cozy spaces are not there. People just awkwardly sat on benches to wait for their massage. I have to say this knocked out 2 stars for me and was a game changer for returning as their is no real place to unwind to either prep for your massage or unwind and regroup after you finish your spa experience. The rest of the amenities worked well. The area for steam room, sauna and jacuzzis is also bright now unlike the dimmer lights from before. Overall, it is still a good spa, but I might explore others unless I hear some of the changes have been fixed.

Cha-cha was definitely a five star masseuse. This is not a great experience and you must repeat this step after your treatment. The relaxing area is nice and I was excited to find my favorite tea. They only had one China tea cup and the only other option was paper cups for the 5 people in that area. I got the tea cup for myself. I poured the water and the tea pot has cold water in it. I had to start over. The tea kettle was the cheapest Breville tea kettle with not temperature settings. Edit: UPDATED REVIEW…read more I was in contact with the leadership team from Now Massage and we discussed the concerns. The leadership team was very responsive to my experience. I went back this morning for another massage with another therapist, as my initial appointment may have been a one/off experience. And it DEFINITELY was a one off experience. Today I was with Ivan. What an amazing massage. He was on point from the initial meeting through the end of the massage, continually checking in and working through the knots in each muscle group I had tightness in. It left me feeling refreshed and wished I could have spent more time with him. Definitely a place to try when in Miami or go to frequently if you live here. And while they have a vast team, I recommend Ivan. I look forward to my next massage with him. Previous massage: The massage was just okay. The massage felt more like using pressure point rather than a traditional massage. I did clarify with the staff that I selected the correct massage package and they confirmed I did. The facility itself doesn't have extra amenities like a steam room or sauna, but they did an amazing job decorating the massage area! As others mentioned it is a common space area, with curtains in between each treatment area. It certainly provides privacy but if you are someone who must have a room with walls and a door this may not be your place. The price I thought was average for the massage and facility. I did add a star because the front desk team was genuinely concerned about my experience and did a good job in trying to make it as right as they could. This could be a one off for the massage since others rave about it, but this is what I noticed.

Cautionary Tale: Unfair Booking Experience at Lapis Spa Miami Beach Our recent booking experience at Lapis Spa Miami Beach left us feeling disappointed and frustrated. We had scheduled a treatment but needed to reschedule, which we promptly did. However, upon arriving at the spa on the rescheduled date, we were shocked to learn that there was no record of our appointment. To our dismay, we were then charged a no-show fee, despite having made the effort to reschedule in the first place. In response to this disappointing experience, we decided to share our concerns on TripAdvisor. The spa's reply seemed promising, as they expressed sincere apologies and offered to correct the situation. They requested that we email them with further details to the provided address. However, despite sending the email as requested, we never received any response or resolution. Given our negative experience and the lack of follow-through from Lapis Spa Miami Beach, we urge others to be cautious and avoid potential unfair booking practices. It is essential to choose a spa that values its customers and provides reliable and respectful service. read more

Not as visually impressive as the Spa at The Water Club but not bad either - it's a different experience. The weekend when I went there was a special offer, 50 minutes of Swedish Massage for $100, you can't go wrong with that.. They have the usual waiting area with nibbles and a few drinks that you have to pay for. There's a hot tub and a lap pool .. there didn't appear to be any natural light so it felt a little artificial and gloomy. Their tagline is something like "Emerge Rejuvenated" but when I emerged I felt like I had a Vitamin D deficiency. The treatment rooms are nice, spacious and relaxing - I didn't hear a peep from the corridor or other treatment rooms. My therapist Claudia was excellent and I enjoyed my treatment. In short, there's no "Wow" factor with this Spa but you be the judge, I'd try it again or failing that I'd pop over the Bliss at the Miami W. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this spa. The amenities are outdated, and the service was poor from start to finish. The robes provided felt like they had already been worn by someone else, and I had to request slippers, which the staff then had to search for. My partner and I booked 80-minute massages, costing $800 in total. Given the price, we expected a high-level spa treatment but were sorely let down. Despite living in Miami and having access to many spas, I can confidently say I will never return to this place. The showers didn't even have hot water, which is unacceptable. The tea station was also subpar. Overall, this spa offers low-level service and amenities. Save your money and time and go to a local massage place where you'll receive better treatment for a fraction of the cost. read more

I took my husband to the Lapis Spa for his birthday...Spa Month was a nice perk too!! This is my second time at this spa. It is beautiful, although a bit crowded during Spa Month. Lots of dirty towels laying around and lots of giggling girls.... Our massages weren't until 3pm...but we checked in early, used the pool, ate lunch, walked on the beach, then went back to the spa to relax before our treatments. My Swedish massage was fabulous. I've had a lot of massages and this was truly one of the best I've had. I'm a Spinning Instructor and an avid cyclist so I massages are my thing!! This is my go to place for a mani/pedi, as well as a blow out and massage. First, the spa is as clean as it gets. Cleanliness is important to me and it shows here. The staff are kind and very helpful with any requests you may have. You never feel guilty for requesting something from the staff here. They don't take it on as a major task, they just kinds oblige.
