This seems to be the go-to salon for many. I have one gal I request, she's great. But when she was on her day off and my niece and I needed a last minute urgent manicure before traveling, we both got the B or C team. Both of our manicures were a mess. My friend made an appt for us on a Sunday afternoon. The place was quite busy for a Sunday. I had never been there before but my friend had. We were seated right away but didn't get waited on for about 20 minutes. The water was warm and the chairs were nice so it was okay. They have large TVs that you can watch while you are relaxing. I did like that the little foot stools went vertical so you could rest your calf during part of the pedicure. (See photo) Overall, this places was nice. It was 65 for a classic mani/pedi. I recently moved to the Westlake area and was excited to find a nail salon conveniently located in a shopping center. I had high hopes going in, but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I paid over $200 for a regular manicure with dip powder and a pedicure, which I expected to last at least a couple of weeks. Instead, one of my nails chipped in less than a week, and it started snagging and pulling my hair every time I touched it--clearly not done properly. When I returned to have it fixed, the salon wasn't busy at all, yet the service I received was unhelpful and dismissive. I was asked what color I originally had, and when I said I couldn't remember the exact shade, I was pointed to a large wall of colors and told to find it myself. When I asked for help narrowing it down, the technician randomly pointed to a color that was clearly not mine. After barely trying to assist, she told me I needed to figure it out on my own. To make matters worse, another employee interrupted and made it seem like I needed to rush and pick a color quickly because they wanted to attend to someone else--even though the salon wasn't busy. The entire interaction felt rushed, unprofessional, and dismissive. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience, especially considering how much I paid. I will not be returning and would not recommend this salon to others. read more

I like the way my nails turned out, BUT they nickel and dime you. $5 extra for almond shape nails? $15 for chrome. $5 for a broken nail . This review is long overdue. I've stopped by Lantana Nails on several occasions for a pedicure and each time was a lovely experience - Tracy and Michelle are the best! The salon is very clean and features a wide range of polish colors (regular and gel) and let's not forget the highlight - complimentary beverages! I always opt for a glass of white wine during pedicures. My favorite pedicure is the Organic (lavender) - super relaxing and always helps me reset. I took a client here after reading the glowing reviews. Wish I could say I had the same experience but mine was mediocre at best. Myself and my client both had the spa pedicure. My tech was good at the scrub/massage. But when taking off dead skin my feet look worse now then they did before because she only removed some of the dead skin. She cut my nails which were already short but didn't file or buff my toes nails. She cut my cuticles but not really because I still have dead skin on the sides that needed to be removed (didn't notice that until after I left). I didn't like the nail polish I picked so I had her remove it (should've taken a picture before), but the polish job was bad, there were parts of my toenails that were missing polish and polish on my skin. It looked like a rushed job, even when she removed the polish are hints of the previous color on my toes and the clear coat she put on isn't completely covering the nail either. We booked 6pm appointments and the close at 7pm. It seemed like they were rushing to get us out. They don't take Amex which would be nice to know beforehand. Overall I won't be going back, there are better places in town. read more

This place is a machine. We went on a Friday at 230 pm and it was packed. They were efficient with getting us in for manicures. A standard manicure is $22 and gel removal is $5. Gel mani is $40. They did an excellent job with my cuticles and the overall process was very quick with still doing a great job. I cannot stand an appointment that takes forever and we were able to get in and out within 45 minutes. I liked how they definitely knew their clientele and had cell phone stands with stylets. Little touches like this are appreciated. Location is in the same shopping center as the movie theater. Parking is plenty and free. read more

Tides have turned, amigos. upon writing my 1st review of LN last yr, Spring '22, i'd only been going here for not even 2 months -been a total of 3 times, as indicated by my initial review pics. Again, 1st impression was great! However, since then, my experience as a consistent patron of LN has spiraled downward terribly. While Anna is an exceptional nail tech here, she's not always available when i need to come in, so ofc i just book it w a diff tech for those times. Most esp when i am at the mercy of one of the techs than Anna, the quality of both my nail services & customer experience here couldn't plummet more drastically. For the landslide majority of the time, the customer service is very apathetic at best, & damn near savagery the rest of the time. I'll illustrate w my most recent time getting my nails done here, which was 8 days ago- last Thurs afternoon, 8/10. My go-to Anna wasn't avail, so I went in for a gel pedi & dip mani w another female tech, Jenifer. a fair-earned warning to other patrons in the future: AVOID JENIFER AT ALL COSTS. (From the date stamps on Lantana's self-posted FB pictures of their staff, was able to find that Jenifer has been working at LN since at least October '21, nearly 2 yrs ago now. so, Jenifer does NOT have the excuse of being fresh or brand-spankin-new to the fine art of being a nail tech) this latest fiasco experience really started w everyone's fav game of picking a color. FROM THE GET-GO i very transparently communicated, numerous times, to Jenifer that i wanted the same, matching color on my hands & toes (a *SHOCKING, NEW REVELATION & TREND TO THE NAIL INDUSTRY GAME IN 2023, amiriight?!). going into the salon, i already had a pink shade saved that i wanted to get as close as possible to. We went back & forth for *at least 15 minutes together* to find the best match to the pink shade i wanted. after ALL of THAT, once she finished my pedi, i'm then moved to the main salon room accordingly to get my Dip fingernails done by a diff, female tech, MiMi. Upon sitting down at MiMi's station, she asks what color i want on my hands. I politely say that Jenifer, who did my pedi, knows i want the same color on my hands as she put on my toes, & to ask her since I couldn't recall the specific shade #. MiMi promptly got up & quickly spoke w Jenifer, returns to me, & lays on the news that they don't have the same shade in DIP polish for my hands...my jaw dropped immediately to the floor in pure bewilderment. We proceed to talk to Jenifer, & so i point-blank ask her why she went forward w painting my toes in a pink shade that they didn't have in DIP polish for my hands. All Jenifer shortly fired back was, "Well, i didn't hear THAT."‍‍ From there, MiMi proceeds to school me on how it's somehow more of my responsibility as the paying customer instead of hers/their nail techs' -the one & only, same employees who work for we patrons' tips based on *obvi* their quality of service provided - to ensure that they do have the matching shade in both polish types when i want it‍ iyiyiyy - not even gonna attempt to relay to y'all here the weeds we got into, due to the language barrier, when i tried to explain that i couldn't have communicated more clearly to Jenifer what i wanted done that day. Anywhoos, bc they didn't have a pink shade in DIP polish that came close to matching my toes' shade, eventually MiMi tells me their best resolution is to give me my normal DIP mani in a clear color, then put the correct matching pink on top that they had in stock in the gel form. I tell her that works for me, & she immediately replies that it's an additional $15 charge to do so. I nearly lost my shit, but thankfully kept it together & took a deep breath before cooly replying, "Well, certainly y'all aren't gonna make me pay a $15 upcharge to get my toes' matching pink on my hands, when this was clearly a mistake & direct result of y'all dropping the ball on basic nail salon etiquette & service." She didn't even let me finish speaking(!!!); as I was still in the heart of saying the above, MiMi blatantly starts talking directly over me to a male employee on the other side of the salon (who I was told is a manager, didn't get his name), then tells me "OK, you don't have to pay the $15." MiMi's mani had clear/incomplete nail tips walking out of the salon... TLDR; No apologies, zero fucks given. The quality of BOTH my mani & pedi is utter trash. I was in a rush to leave bc it took so long, & noticed when i got in my car that my mani was garbage-as pictured, the tip ends' polish of my fingernails was so much lighter/clearer & unfinished - not a full flesh of color body was built on my fingernails by MiMi. What's more, BOTH my mani & pedi chipped for the 1st time on the same day, *which was ONLY 3 FLIPPIN' DAYS after i got them done* See pictured, & proceed at ur own risk read more

Today was very special cause my partner decided to pamper me by getting the all in one pedicure with gel, and a full set dip powder. My pedicure was done by Tina and she was amazing. I was almost ready to fall asleep by the end because I felt so relaxed. Since I'm going to a special event I wanted to get something extra fun.
