I always look forward to seeing her! She pays attention to my concerns, and always makes me feel welcomed at every visit. As a makeup artist, I always worry about my lashes falling out so quickly, but thanks to Celine, they hold for 3 weeks at a time without them looking crazy! Booking online for appointments have been so easy, I have never had an issue, which most people can appreciate. If you know exactly what you want, the staff is more than welcome to help achieve that! Upon entering I wasn't greeted. There was a girl sitting just on her phone. I said "hey" and she said "oh you can have a seat, Lexy should be in soon." And thats it. Lexy comes in rushing. She is also late. I booked my appointment 10:55am and it was pushed back 11:10am. Because she was late. I was also notified at 10:33am for her running late. I was already in the area. Because if you read their cancellation and late policy they can be VERY STRICT about it. Which I found funny because my first time booking. THEY ARE LATE. I was a little disappointed because I started work at 1:30pm. Pushing it back even 20mins I know I would be in a time crunch. But whatever... I didn't wanna cancel because THEY were late and be charged 100% for a service. Which is also one of their policies. This is one of their other policies.... -GRACE PERIOD IS 9 MINUTES, AT 10 MINUTES THERE IS A $10 LATE FEE, AFTER 15 MIN IT WILL RESULT IN THE FORFEITURE OF THE ENTIRE APPOINTMENT AND WILL BE CHARGED 100% OF THE SERVICE BOOKED. YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME. Lol. Anyway, for what I paid $200 something for lashes. Volume lashes that was half filled not to mention half bald. NOT WORTH IT. My whole appointment was quiet. Lexy didn't say one word to me. Except for how long. And I told her long. And that was the last time I ever heard her talk to me until she was done. I finished about 1:40pm ish. After my appointment I went straight to work, I was running late. And I had a few comments on how "natural" my lashes was. THEY ARE VOLUME I PAID $200 something for VOLUME!!! I called and went back the next day for a mini fill because those lashes were not volume nor were they filled. I left with not much of a difference. Laid there for another 3 hours for my lashes to NOT look full. I couldn't believe how bald they still were. My natural lashes on our outer eye and inner eye weren't filled. They went thicker on the lashes which made a slight difference but still not that much. My wispy strip lashes that I buy for $5 have more volume than the $200 volume lash extensions I paid them for here. I wish I loved it here because of the convenience of the location, price wasn't an issue. Quality was just not worth the price!

She was extremely nice and accommodating over text, informing me of her available time slots, services, and prices. On the morning of my appointment, she texted me asking if I could come at an earlier time. I said yes. Unfortunately, I was running late, so I let her know over text. She called me and very brashly asked if I was on my way. I reassured her that I was close by, but she sounded very annoyed and repeated several times that it was "15 minutes past my appointment time." I apologized and drove as fast as I could to the location. Upon arrival, I parked in the back of the building and called her again to make sure I was in the right place and did not need to pay for parking. She ignored my question and told me to RUN up the stairs because she had a client coming in 20 minutes and she was "not sure what she could do for me" because I was, again, "WAY past my appointment time." She said to hurry because I also had to sign waiver forms. My assumption is that Mika had booked clients back to back that day because if she had a client coming in 20 minutes, that meant that my entire appointment was only 40 minutes long (which, in my opinion, is too short to give proper care and attention anyway). I had trouble finding the stairs to go up to the salon so called her one more time, only for Mika to say, "You know what, I can't take you anymore, there's not enough time." I said sorry again for being so late and asked if I could just get my old appointment slot back (later that day). She said no, she had already filled it so I had to figure something else out. TL;DR: I was super late to my lash lift appointment and it ended up getting cancelled. Therefore, I cannot speak to Mika's skills as a lash tech or quality of service. However, I am leaving this review to inform everyone of the unprofessional correspondence I had with her. Maybe she was just under a lot of stress today, I don't know. Regardless, there is no need to speak to anyone so rude and condescendingly, especially not a potential paying client. I apologize for wasting her time, but still feel like the bad attitude she gave me was uncalled for. I have made an appointment at a different salon where I hope to be respected as a customer instead of talked down on like a child.

Application takes between 1-1/2 to 2 hours, but the time just flies by. And when you finally sit up you look wonderful! Jade gives you a couple of swirlies to untangle your new lashes when needed, and checks in to make sure your lashes are wearing well and you don't have any questions. I mean how great is that? She really listens to you and what you want so you're as comfortable as possible with your new look. Needless to say, I'm feeling pretty sassy now! And I love how you just wake up feeling glorious! Although I do like false lashes, it's a pain to take care of and maintain, and since I kind of have my real ones back a little, I decided to try something different - in comes lash lift and tint! It is 90$ for this one hour treatment which is most helpful in the morning or getting ready cause now I no longer have to 1. Curl my lashes 2. Apply mascara. I think most people can get away with just the lift itself - but like I said I've had falsies in the past so now I have small/thin lashes so the tint makes it appear thicker than it is. I honestly fell asleep half way in. I was tired. I mean. We just got through obon season. Oh! The location is off Keamoku right next to la pizza rina. There's parking in the back for 2 hours and you just go up the stairs and down the hall and it should take you there. The store itself is bright and clean there's only two rooms -one for nails and the other for eyes. Think about this friends .. especially Asian friends! Her attention to detail is second to none! Her Japanese lash perms are very natural-looking and leave lashes gently curled, soft, and healthy. Also, her lash extension service is amazing. She is a perfectionist, and it shows. She specializes in a lush natural look, but can also provide a more dramatic look if that's what you're going for. She can even do "party eyes" for special occasions, adding colored lashes and tiny, elegant Swarovski crystals! The studio is located on the 3rd floor above Fairwood Ramen (old Columbia Inn) in the Longs and Times shopping center in Kaimuki on Waialae and 4th ave. I used to struggle with painful lash extensions because the glue would irritate my eyes and leave them red, but with Rika, I feel completely comfortable immediately after my service--no irritation at all! I also love that she offers LED lash extensions, which help the glue dry faster and make the experience even better. Her studio is super cute, incredibly clean, and just has the best vibe. You can tell she has tons of experience because she works quickly but never sacrifices quality. Her work is seriously amazing, and I can't say enough good things about her! This is an overdue interview, I've got my lashes down more than a year ago from her. My other half…read moredropped me off in front and she came out to get me but got mad because she said we couldn't park where we were at in a very mean attitude way. I understand because she said that in the beginning and told her that my other half was just dropping me off. That's strike 1. She didn't even greet herself but instead told me to follow her upstairs. I pointed at a picture I wanted in her IG posts of a client she did and wanted my eyebrows like hers. She said okay and started, while doing my eyelashes she would continuously position my head in an angry way instead of asking nicely. Strike 2. She would even make the "ugh" noises. It's not like I fell asleep or anything and she could use her voice to communicate nicely which I see she lacks in. She's not from Hawaii but somewhere in the mainland. Last, when i was done...my lashes looked no where near the picture I showed her. The picture of that client I pointed to, her lashes were more full. Where mines, was NOT. I told her that it doesn't look like the picture. She then proceeds to tell me that the client in the picture had stacked lashes on top. Like wtf!? You couldn't tell me that in the very beginning thinking I would want the same thing pointing to it? As for my first time doing my lashes, I was very disappointed. Never going back.
